Overall we enjoyed this house. We failed to realize that there was no AC when booking which wouldn’t have been an issue except we picked a very hot week. Plenty of fans definitely helped. We enjoyed 2 days at the community pool but weren’t able to access them until 2 pm but it worked out once we knew the rules. An excellent equipped kitchen. I bring my own knives but this had an excellent set. We liked the location as wasn’t far from many of the places and hikes we took advantage of! Host very responsive. Thank yo.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was clean and very comfortable. The owner, Jim, prepped a fire for us in the fire place prior to our arrival which we really appreciated. He was very responsive to texts and phone calls and provided detailed information regarding items in the house (thermostats, fireplace, outdoor grill, etc.) We really loved the amenities provided and would definitely stay hear again. Highly recommend!

Jim was a great communicator and the stay was really great and incredibly easy. The parking pass made it so fast to get a bunch of kids back and forth to the mountain. So so easy. The only negative was that the house is a little dated and could have been a bit cleaner. It felt like it was cleaned by the owner rather than by a professional. Nothing egregious be any means, and I would still recommend staying here in all honesty but just know that going in.

The house was exactly as described and setup with everything we needed for our getaway.
It was so peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed to decompress.
Convenient location for our needs. It would be beautiful when the leaves change in the fall.

We had a great summer escape to the mountains. The house was a great setup for our family and had everything we needed. It was convenient to access many hiking trails, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Shenandoah National Forest, etc. Communication with the owner was great. He is very responsive and accommodating to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this property.

a peaceful home
We have spent some very beautiful days in Jemes's house .. This house is very beautiful inside, very impressive with those beautiful and high wooden ceilings. The whole house is surrounded by very high windows that allow you to contemplate the beautiful views of the outside and it makes you look like you are in nature ..; The 2 rooms were large very comfortable and good, and the upstairs room was very nice and a very comfortable King bed, and the bathroom had a huge Jacuzzi. It also had a big and nice fireplace that made us warm when we were watching movies at night The neighborhood is very quiet .. This place is very peaceful the only thing you can hear are the birds, a few meters away is the local street But the cars that pass by are not even heard. It has everything you need to have a good time, in total peace and quiet. James the owner of the house always available to answer any questions. Thank you James for allowing us to spend these beautiful days in your house, which is beautiful, if we get another chance we will come back again.

Quiet location with a great space
We stayed with another family for 3 nights and really enjoyed this house. The host had everything we needed and had even prepped a fire for us the first night! He is very responsive to questions and concerns as well, which was great!
Location is convenient to the lodge and very quiet. We will stay here again!
