Spacious family getaway with lots of room, close to Vail area, would definitely go again

Our family cherished staying in this home for a 3 generation family ski trip. The home was cozy, well equipped, clean, with comfortable beds and great access to the slopes. High compliments to the owner and thanks again for sharing with us.

Great house a couple of minutes walk from a lift. Tons of room, great service. It’s a short walk to the Grand Hyatt which has a shuttle to easily get you around. It’s a bit uphill on the way home after a day of skiing, but walkable.

We stayed here with my husband and our 7 children. The location was perfect and easy to get to the slopes. It was also a short distance to Vail Village, the grocery store, and shopping. We loved the layout of the house, the large couch, the large dining room table, the pool table, and that the house was well stocked. There were plenty of bedrooms and space for our large family. We would definitely stay here again!

Great kitchen, dining room, and family room. Great hang out space for friends.

Beautiful and accommodating home in Vail. Everything you'd need for a wonderful stay with a large group. We had a lovely weekend. Some things to know: The lockbox and key were difficult to use. Would be better if they provided multiple keys that are tested and easy to use, or installed a numeric lock on the front door. Also, Vacasa manages the property and provides great online information but no personal support on-site or connection with owner for any questions.

Fantastic home! Location is wonderful, house was beautiful and clean! Everything we needed was included, truly made for a wonderful ski vacation. Only regret is we couldn’t stay longer!

We had a wonderful time, very spacious for big families, great location, 5 minute drive to Lionshead! I would definitely come back!!

This house was beautifully decorated and very roomy and comfortable for 9 of us. Very well-stocked, large kitchen and also stocked well with firewood and kindling and large gas grill. No jacuzzi, though. The walk to the Cascade lift is pretty easy if you're not wearing boots or carrying skis (suggestion: rent from Venture Sports at Grand Hyatt), and then take Pride Express to top of the mountain. We have been coming to Vail since the 70's. I would definitely rent this house again.
I have one gripe, but its a big one, and not about the house but about the Management company: The heat was not working in one of the rooms so we called Vacasa (which picks up in Portland, OR). Yet, no maintenance person showed up that day. I called again late that afternoon and urged them to send someone right away as the room was freezing. No one came until TWO DAYS LATER. That is just plain unacceptable. Yes, there is a labor shortage, because wages have stagnated for years, so Vacasa should pay their workers or subcontractors better - I'm sure they're taking a hefty cut from the owners.

We stayed 1 full week for our traditional ski vacation in Vail. The house was built in the 80's so some of the amenities were dates. The kitchen and eating area was great for our group of 10. Loved the wood burning fireplace. The master bedroom could use a king bed with a new/firmer mattress. Only real issue was the distance to the ski lift/ It was a tough walk from the house and back the other way. We ended up using our rental car as a shuttle. I had hoped the ski shop in the Hyatt would allow us to store our ski's but not an option. Overall we were very satisfied with the property and the overall value.

We loved the location of this house! It had all we needed for our family of 10 to sleep comfortably. We didn’t cook in the house but kitchen was nice. Lots of room for us and the great room and fire place were a hit. Only suggestion is more seating on the outside deck!

Beautiful, well stocked, well equipped, comfortable home. Would consider staying there again...
However, communication with property management was terrible. They never followed up on our concerns or requests after repeated tries. Vacasa really dropped the ball.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. There was 11 people and we felt that there was plenty of room for all of us. House is a great option For anyone looking to stay in the Vail area. You are literally right down the street from the grand Hyatt which has an adjoining ski lift. We will look to return to this exact property in the future.

From the very second we arrived we all just knew that we were home. Enough room for 8 adults to stay comfortably with an amazing living room with a wood burning fireplace for relaxing and game night. Wonderful fully stocked kitchen and dining area, downstairs pool table, and large deck with grill were among the amenities that we all enjoyed. While this unit does not have a lofted ceiling like others, it was filled with tons of natural light and has a great "southwestern" feel and charm. It is CLOSE to the Cascade Lift -- so we called it walk in / walk out -- no need to drive if you are going skiing. With transportation to Vail Village close by it would be possible to leave the car at home. Perfect place for our family.

Everything went beautifully. Everyone ( three generations) loved the house. Very comfortable, and equipped. If you use the internet, you will end up getting emails from sources used by previous tenants. I am getting about a thousand a day, and am now going through them to Unsubscribe!

This property was spacious enough for 6 adults and 5 kids to enjoy. The kids’ bedrooms worked out perfectly with two single beds in one room for the two boys and three single beds in the other room for the three girls. We stayed over Thanksgiving and made the Thanksgiving meal here. The kitchen was well- equipped and roomy enough for multiple chefs to work. We had a lovely time and would recommend this place and Gore Creek Properties to anyone be.

Reviewer Comments:
The house is spacious and well located, but one of the dining room chairs, fell apart when we moved it and another fell apart when a very thin person sat on it. The bathrooms are OLD and the drapes in the living room are quite indescribable. The front door is almost impossible to open. Gore Creek Properties is excellent to work with, though.

Reviewer Comments:
Had a great stay at 1457 Geenhill court for 1 week during Vail ski season, The accommodation was like a home from home, and housed two family's very comfortably. The home was clean warm and welcoming with all the amenities that you could think of, only gripe was that the cuboards and fridge were near full of food packets from previous renters, some packs unused, some opened and out of date. Only other negative was that the driveway was shared with neighbours and had not had the snow cleared properly when the snow was soft. When we arrived this made the drive way space narrow and access to the vehicle was treacherous due to the heavy ice on the acces path and drive. The property is very close to the Cascade chairlift, and free shuttle to Vail village, and within easy driving distance to supermarkets and villages. Would definatly recommend this property!
