It’s near the beach
Trash was full and no toilet paper at all when we arrived. It took a week for them to finally bring us only 2 rolls. This is the single loudest place we’ve ever stayed. It’s in the middle of a large construction site with loud hammers, power saws, and every kind of noise making tool all around you. It’s a huge project that will continue for many months. This flat should not be rented out right now. Also 2 of the most useful windows don’t open.

Location was great. Easy access - on ground floor up a short flight of steps. Lots of comfortable sofa seating in lounge. Spotless & warm. Very comfortable bed. Lighting good throughout.
Just before we got there, I texted asking for keycode & where the free parking was. He texted it back & informed us the property no longer came with free parking. I replied that that was the only reason I booked it (mid Dec) & that I wasn't happy. We should have been informed of this change to conditions before the cancellation date of 29th Dec. Owner said we could park next to house but when we got there, a car was already parked there. He then sent us to a small car park nearby, saying he would reimburse us - which he did very promptly, on receiving a scan of the paring invoice. Opening lights in the double-glazed windows were warped in bedroom/bathroom so very draughty. Shower head fell off as soon as I touched it. Two steps down to shower/toilet & the safety nosing on step in bathroom fell off.
as I went down it. Lounge: Small glass bar table, bar stools too rickety to use - so we used our laptops as tables for a take-out. NO parking outside property - cul-de-sac with no loading at any time - challenging to unload/load bags as traffic wardens very active. H&S concerns as how the TV was plugged in. Maintenance man promptly came & fixed shower head & step. No bin in bathroom. Very little storage in bedroom.

location, near to both the beach and shops
there is nothing not to like

the location was good
it was dirty , the carpets and shower were disgusting and there was a broken tile in the kitchen which wound have easily cut your feet if you stepped on it

The property is for self-catering. Galley kitchen was modern and very clean with all utensils etc. Likewise, the bathroom which was shower only but modern and very efficient. Location is good with easy walking distance of Brighton's many amenities and attractions.
Building site opposite was huge and noisy. Property is tucked way behind some of the large hotels on the seafront with many vehicles and commercials using the road to access the site or the hotel parking. This did not prove disruptive however and everything shut down after about 5 o'clock. The free parking was on a hard standing next door. I had reservations about leaving my car there although it was okay and no damage occurred during our stay. Had I known I may well have not booked the place but no harm done.

Location was brilliant, parking next to apartment was a bonus

The location is very good and 2 minute walk for the beach front. Very convenient.
There was no mention of the huge construction site happening.
There was no information regarding where to park the car, even though it said the right of the house, there was 1 space with a yellow pole that needed to be removed to park, but if this was mentioned then it would have been easier to find and use.
The kettle wasnt working, this needs to be changed.
The whole apt overall was ok, but it defiantly needs to be a bit cleaner and updated.

parking and location was excellent, just off the main shopping and beach area
kettle didn’t really work, every else was fine

Good location, free private parking, wonderful host, luckily didnt hear much noise from neighbours
We stayed 3 nights and we did not have the chance to wash our clothes at all onsite because the washing machine did not have drying function, and the venitilation fan in the bath room was really weak. One reason why I chose this room was because it stated that it had a washing machine >_<
6.0 / 10.0
it was a large space
the smell of smoke, as directly opposite a smoking area for hotel staff, who were also very loud and shouty, needs a total refresh throughout especially in the bathroom, which was black around all the corners and tiles, smelt clean in the bathroom but needs total refit and better ventilation to stop the mould and mildew

location, parking onsite, fantastic customer service,
kettle didn’t work 😁 x noisy neighbours upstairs on our 1st night, but no reflection on the property or service we reviewed for our stay x

The location was absolutely perfect. The parking spot was great to have too. The bed was really comfy.
The faults from the previous reviews are not sorted out yet.

The car parking space was great to have over the Friday and Saturday. We just moved to a car park on the Sunday as staying for the day.
Location was great.
The flats above were incredibly noisy - arguing and loud talking both Friday and Saturday night - up until 3.40am on the Saturday evening/Sunday morning. Not ideal preparation for running a marathon! This obviously wasn’t hosts fault but as rules stayed quiet from 10pm and talk of a security company being called and fined if we made a noise it was a shame didn’t apply to residents living/staying above.

This is a fabulous flat which we really enjoyed staying in. The owner communicated quickly with us about arrangements and was quick to respond to any queries we had. The location is perfect for exploring the city and the free parking space is brilliant in a place like Brighton! We ate out all the time but looking at the kitchen you could easily self cater if you wanted to. The free wifi was good (we used it to run our Firestick, although there is 'normal' TV available) and there were towels provided for us. Will definitely look to stay here again if visiting Brighton in the future.

Very close to the seafront, shops and restaurants. Good water pressure. Comfortable bed and sofa. Good free wifi. Decent sized rooms.
Very cold when we arrived as no heating on and windows were left open. Probably to get rid of the very strong smell of curry. Needs a more thorough clean as quite dusty in places. Hole in the middle of the kitchen floor is a hazard and needs sorting before someone hurts themselves. Mould around shower tray. Although the decor is fairly modern it is all a bit tired looking and could do with a revamp. No essentials such as milk or butter and only one toilet roll. Luckily we took our own. Cutlery has seen better days and needs replacing. The parking space is really just a shared square of wasteland covered in rubble and bits of rubbish. It is quite tight to park in too so a large vehicle may struggle. By far the worst aspect of our two night stay (although not the fault of the owners) was the continuous loud music and partying in the flat above which went on throughout the day and into the early hours. This is obviously not a one off occurrence as I see other reviews have mentioned this. Needless to say we are absolutely shattered. So much for a relaxing weekend away! :(

The flat was comfortable and spacious for us as a couple, it has great access for the beach front, and shops/restaurants. Good free parking
Repair required to hole in tiles of the kitchen floor, this is urgent, some cleaning (windows) required and a quick freshen up of decorating

The whole apartment was amazing!!
None!!

its was comfortable and warm.
mould in the bathroom, plus the rear window allows other people to view you as there’s a walk way right outside. means you need to keep the blind shut so no natural light.
5.0 / 10.0
The fact it was meant to be a quite night in turned out to be a headache as people partied upstairs with loud music till late. Apart from that was a very pleasant place.

Lovely little apartment in a great location.
Comfortable bed and everything you need for a short stay.
The free parking next to the apartment is a real bonus as parking in Brighton can be very expensive.
We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again next time we visit Brighton.

Could do with updating
8.0 / 10.0
Location was brilliant, free parking was perfect - dog friendly. Would definately stay again.
Unfortunately there was no toilet roll but as a seasoned explorer I always pack my own and there was also no binbags in the kitchen bin. Not a fault of the property, cleaners may have just forgotten.

Excellent location within walking distance of everything.
Would love to come stay here again.
Nothing everything was brilliant
7.0 / 10.0
The bed was very comfortable
The gas was not flowing so the gas cooker didn’t work! I wanted self catering and we couldn’t!
There was no hot water so no shower before we left! I am not pleased in fact I’m quite angry
7.0 / 10.0
It was conveniently situated and quiet. The shower was very good and the bed was comfy.
We would have liked a teapot and a coffee machine. The kettle switch seems dodgy and we had to unplug it. The wash basin is rather blocked.
7.0 / 10.0
Convenient location. Comfortable bed. Large tv.
Absence of a tea towel, bathmat, tea spoons. Needs better/more pots and pans and crockery. Shower hard to turn on..
