We have stayed here before and had a lovely stay. The house is gorgeous and the owners are lovely. A guaranteed good stay.

We just returned from visiting Calais and are really impressed with the place we stayed in. The location is just perfect- close to the theater, easy walking distance to multiple cute little shops and restaurants, and near open parking.
By the way, parking is free everywhere in this city after 12 pm Saturday and until 9 am Monday, which was a huge bonus!
Walking around we could see beautiful architecture and enjoy the charm of the city, the city bus was free of charge and easy to navigate.
The suite we had was very clean, quiet and beautifully decorated, beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the shower had great water flow. The heating system in the building works great, and you can adjust it in your room.
The breakfast was delicious and included French pastries that were the best I’d ever had. We really loved the owners who gave us very helpful information about places to see each day and where to find good restaurants nearby. If we visit this town again we will definitely stay there and highly recommend everyone this beautiful place.
A couple things to keep in mind though, if you have a serious allergy to cats there are four cats who live with the hosting family. Additionally, the wifi connection was very weak and often disconnected when in the room.

Excellent breakfast with a wide selection of jams and spreads. Fresh bread and pastries were also appreciated. Try the homemade yoghurt, you won't be disappointed.
The hosts were very welcoming and friendly.
The evening meal served in the table d'hotes style was extremely enjoyable and tasty.
Good free parking directly outside the property.
For TinTin fans, there were a number of books in our bathroom to read........
WiFi in the guest bedrooms could be a little stronger, and was quite weak in our bedroom.

Great location, easy to find, friendly helpful owners. Had real character much better than a chain hotel.

Highly recommended for a stopover. Location in centre of town. Very well presented and equipped accommodation, including interesting references to the history of Calais. Very good breakfast and our hosts were friendly and helpful.
The staircases are quite steep as the building is 120 years old.

Very close to the centre of Calais. Parking available. Excellent bedroom with period features. Comfortable double bed with private toilet and excellent shower. Hosts are friendly and helpful. We had a superb 3 course evening meal with good value wine and beer available. Grand Theatre de Calais is just across the road.

This is a lovely, quaint small individual hotel.
The bedrooms are comfortable and stylish.
The building is an old lace mill and the decor takes inspiration from this.
Nathalie was very helpful when I had a problem with my car.
I struggled to find it even with 2 sat nav systems.
An illuminated sign would help.

Super!
Kan niets bedenken.

The hosts were exceptional and our dinner was the best that we had experienced in France. The room was a good size and the shower was big and had good water pressure. Our room had blackout shutters and the heating worked well. WiFi is strong and reliable throughout. The B&B is located right behind the old theatre building and is in a quiet location but a short walk to all the restaurants. Calais has a free bus service so getting around is cheap and easy. The rooms are all themed and the decor is very well done. Our hosts escorted us to and from the parking space which is in a locked garage about 50 meters away (load and unload in front of the B&B before parking).
The stairs to the top room are a bit narrow and steep but our hosts dragged our suitcases up and back for us old folk. The parking space is a bit small but typical of parking in France but at least it was undercover and secure. Breakfast could have included more fresh fruit such as grapes, berries and bananas for the excellent home made yoghurt. We find the French habit of allowing large dogs in rooms and where people eat to be very unhygienic (especially when the French don't bother to pick up their dog's poo). We usually avoid places that allow dogs.

We always stay here now when we take the Eurotunnel to and from Calais as we like our hosts Natalie and Laurent, and enjoy a pleasant evening meal with them and a good breakfast. We have always managed to find safe parking in the street outside the guest house. They have nice cats too!

Another lovely stay with Natalie and Laurent at Les Secrets de Loges - we managed to find parking as usual close to the front door. We stayed in the Bleriot room this time - my favourite, as although it is not the largest room it has a large comfy bed and is at the rear of the building so has no street noise. Once again we enjoyed a tasty and reasonably priced home cooked meal with our hosts and a very satisfactory breakfast. Only 10 minutes drive to the Eurotunnel terminal so very conveniently located, and also just a short walk from central Calais if you have time to stop and explore.

breakfast fine The room was spacious and fairly quiet
We thought it was a bit expensive all round…the meals were definitely below par …25 euros per head not including wine seems fine these days but not if you are served a set meal with 3 tiny toasts covered with goat’s cheese as a starter, a croque monsieur , basically bread and cheese (welsh rarebit) as a main course and a cherry cake (clafoutis) as a dessert…very filling but not a balanced meal and quite simply too ‘cheesy’!! Laurent claims to be professional cook…that may be the case but….the other thing is that Laurent and his wife have dinner with their hosts …which is fine if you are ready to listen to Laurent’s stories . As for the room, it was spacious but it would be a good idea to warn people about the access (very steep staircase). This review might sound a bit harsh …we might have been unlucky with the meals but in all fairness it was very disappointing.

The location was central. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated.
Our arrival was delayed beyond our control and Nathalie and Laurent were very accommodating and still provided us a delicious cooked dinner on our arrival.
A great family B&B. Our ‘go to’ next time we are in / through Calais.
Our stay was only one night, but we would have liked to enjoy a longer stay.
