Perfect place to stay while we were in town for a family wedding. Thank you!

This house was a perfect home base for our family of eight while we were in town for my daughter’s wedding at Appalachian View. Close to venue and grocery, and had perfect space inside and outside on the decks to relax. The game room was much enjoyed as well. It exceeded our every expectation, and we hope to come back!!!

We made this location the place to host our weekend marriage retreat with 3 other couples. The location is scenic. There is a lot to do nearby and there is plenty of space for everyone to spread out or congregate around the dining room table and enjoy time together. Overall, we would recommend this to others pursuing similar objectives.

We absolutely LOVED our time at VILLACOSTALOTTA.....it was the perfect house and location for our family trip celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary!! We had 6 adults, 2 children (ages 8 & 10), and 1 puppy with us. The house was exceptional and we made many memories there....we loved the views, game room, corn hole game and having lots of space for everyone! Also, theTynecastle neighborhood was so beautiful and it was easy access to town and the main roads.
Any questions or concerns were quickly addressed and answered by the rental agency.
Our family all agreed that we would love to stay at Villacostalotta again someday!

We really enjoyed our stay. The kids LOVED the game room, and the house was plenty large enough for our group. The house was a little worn, but very comfortable. I only have a couple of things that could have been better.
While it looked like the house had been clean, it seemed that it had not been cleaned very recently. There was a lot of dust on the indoor surfaces, and the porch and outside windows were not very clean.
There were no instructions or book in the house for the equipment or what do to when leaving. However, all the light switches were labeled, which was wonderful.
Even with these two things, I would highly recommend the house for a family stay.

We loved every minute of our family vacation! Each family had their own “floor” which helped anchor everyone. The amenities were wonderful and the game room was a big hit! My only feedback is that the kitchen lacked some basic equipment that would have made dinners easier. Our family loves to gather around food and with dietary restrictions and picky eaters, we prefer to cook at home. We made it work, but for a home of this caliber, it was disappointing.

Stayed for a week with family and friends. House was clean and spacious. Plenty of room for multiple families, with space for people who needed to work remotely to get away from the kids. Property manager was responsive and answered questions quickly.

We really enjoyed staying in the high country. Very relaxing, great central location to skiing, hiking and other small towns to shop/eat. Kids stayed busy in the evenings with everything in the game room. I’m pretty sure our dog didn’t want to leave either haha. Would definitely recommend.

The house is perfect for a large family and even better for the younger and older adults with the layout of the house. We really enjoyed our stay . Beautiful home, property, and location.

The house is lovely--very spacious, comfortable beds, smart tvs in every room, huge closets, 3 cozy fireplaces, and lots of bathrooms. There is a fantastic view off the deck, with great seating, a gas fire pit, and (on the lower deck) some awesome chair swings. The game room was spectacular--with pool table, air hockey, foosball table, shuffleboard table, and dart board. It also had the best hot tub we have ever been in at a rental property. It is clean, spacious (seats up to 6), and nicely placed where you can see the moon, stars, and mountains. We had a fabulous time!

Five couples stayed in the house. Having a bedroom with queen/king beds for each couple was hard to find, but this house did it! The covered deck with fire pit, large kitchen, dining table for 10, and the gaming area were all a huge hit for entertaining. Property is as described.

This lovely home in the Tynecastle neighborhood was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the high country with friends and family. The views of Grandfather Mountain off the main deck were outstanding. The game room was packed with fun - pool, darts, air hockey, and fusball- which both the children and the adults loved. The wood burning fireplace in the main living area was perfect for cool nights and the large dining room great for games- we mostly ate on the deck at night.
The location was perfect for launching into various hikes in addition to fly fishing, zip lining, and a ropes course. It is close to Banner Elk, where we had a two great dinners and a tasty breakfast out. Very convenient to the grocery store as well.
We look forward to staying here again!

Beautiful house and perfect location!!
Perfect vacation house! We had two big families and everything was great with this beautiful mountain home. Plenty of room for all ages, even a pack n play for the baby. The location was even better, close to Hawknest Tubing, Sugar Mountain skiing and plenty of groceries and shopping centers. The neighborhood was very pretty and quiet. There were games in the house and everything we needed to enjoy our long weekend. We even woke up to snow! We can't wait to stay here again next year.

I stayed here with my family. The house is beautiful. I wish it could’ve been cleaner but nothing too crazy. It was a wonderful experience to see real snow while staying there. I will definitely book again in the future.

House with a lot to offer
We stayed with two other families. We had plenty of room. There was a lot for everyone to do. The teenagers enjoyed the basement game room and corn hole boards the most. The property management company was very helpful throughout the rental process as well as check in and check out.

The home is beautiful and so comfortable to stay in. The 3 floors allowed us to spread out and have lots of space. We traveled with multiple families and many teenagers and everyone could still have their own space. The roads in the subdivision were well maintained even in winter weather. We loved the home and location, and can't wait for an excuse to stay there again!
