Great location with free parking. Had dinner and breakfast - both were lovely and large portions. Great landlord and landlady.

Location
Car park was small and dimly lit, no one to check you in they left key on desk with your name had to find your own way to the room, all doors rattled whenever any one left their room, room boasted of a flat screen tv, roughly the height and length of a ruler and was mounted high up on a corner wall about 15 ft away from the bed you would need binoculars to see anything never mind hear it, also had Bob the builder in working on the floor above, also prior to checking out I had do not disturb on the door but that did not deter house keeping from marching straight in.

Not much, when we arrived l could have mistaken it for an inland Mary Celeste.
Few staff around, those that were, were very helpful.

Lovely staff, warm welcome nothing was too much, bed was comfortable & enjoyed having a duvet rather than layers of sheets. If you want 5* white crisp comfort probably not for you but if you want homely it would suit you.
Food was very much pub grub did what it said on the tin, breakfast was lovely, was a fair amount of noise from the pub so not suited if you’re a light sleeper or business working, but overall not to much to fault.

Staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. I stayed in a cute single room which had a lovely little chair to sit on, just right for the space and near the window - see picture. Lovely spacious ensuite for a single room. As a lady traveling on my own, I felt safe and secure in the room and hotel. My room overlooked a courtyard and I could hear the friendly ambiance of customers enjoying some leisure time outside - they left quietly as dusk fell so I did not feel disturbed by them at all.
Would have preferred extra pillowcases/protectors, there was only 1 layer on the pillows in my room and they were loose which is why I noticed. I could see mild staining on the pillow itself which was off putting because I the knew the stains were there and I only had 1 layer of cotton between my head and the pillow. I would have liked a herbal tea in the bedroom, regular black tea, coffee and a hot chocolate sachet were available but I don't take milk so prefer green or herbal tea.

Very friendly landlady, decent room, comfy bed, probably the best shower ever ! Parking for the motorbikes. The best pint (Butty Bach) of our weekend, and sampled quite a few !

Great location, very good atmosphere with tasty food.
Booked two rooms, and on arrival one of them wasn’t available (double) instead received two singles.
And one of the singles wasn’t as clean as the others also luck of basic body cleaning products

Second time we've stayed at the Greyhound. Key was waiting for us at check-in. Room was spot on and the bathroom seemed brand new. We watched the rugby with some friendly locals and our evening meals were perfect with a great menu to choose from. Slept well as the hotel is very quiet. Breakfast once again was outstanding as was the service from the lady who runs the kitchen.
Nothing to dislike, which is the reason we returned and will likely return again in the future. Thanks.

Friendly team, we were welcomed in by a team who nothing was too much trouble for. Food was great, perfectly poached eggs in the morning and the beige platter was just what we wanted. Would definitely stay here again. Perfect spot for a winter motorbike one nighter ride out and stay over.
I did get caught out by not taking a hair dryer. But my fault, I should have checked.

The room was warm and there were tea and coffee making facilities. Nice cooked breakfast.
The shower drain was blocked. I reported this the first morning but it wasn't rectified. I was told there was a choice of cooked or continental breakfast. When I asked for the continental breakfast the second day I was told it was toast and marmalade. That is not a continental breakfast. The food in the bar was also disappointing.

Breakfast was excellent
Would have preferred to have breakfast later 9.30/10 rather than 8.30/9 but wasn’t an option. There was a plumbing issue and we didn’t have hot water on our floor. Couldn’t have a shower. This was unfortunate and an apology was offered.
