Crossing road is subway station Middle Hai Hua Road Line 13. So can go to any place in Shanghai rather than wait for taxi which becomes difficult to get some time.
Have many many restaurants and bar around . 650 meters away is Indian restaurants Massala . Very nice and satisfying for any Indian.
Disappointed with breakfast, very costly, 200 Rm b is too much for breakfast, value for 3 person lunch. Swimming pool should have space for water waves shock absorption. If some one swims in pool water is shaking and u can’t swim.No place for water to overflow.

Breakfast continental choice too poor, to be so expensive.
Internet not good working.

great staff
no wifi and no phone coverage

nice hotel somewhat away from the main tourist routes, you have to change to line 13 from line 2, which is a bit annoying, as well as initially undeclared service charge of 16% to the quoted price on booking.com, i.e they per " hotel" policy increase your bill by 16%.
I liked it very much.

nice hotel classy and in central location, great view from higher floors

Very convenient location next to a metro stop. Shanghai metro is excellent, takes you everywhere in the city.
Check-in process very tedious and time consuming

Great location and well kept up property.
Room was dusty and not cleaned very well. Carpet near window needed to e vacuumed better. Many things in the bathroom looked like they weren’t cleaned properly after some repair work was done.

The location is great right down in the French concession probably the best area to live and get a feel about this city.
The breakfast was disappointing overpriced at a whooping 180 yuans and 99% Chinese. Not only the food selection is limited but the staff at the restaurant is unfriendly like the 'chef' who refused arms crossed to do an egg sunny side up.
It is almost absurd at times
The Jiang Jang Tower hotel doesn't care about its. foreign guests as it is aimed to solely cater to Chinese guests.
The level of English is low across the board: check-in, restaurant, lounge. The worst part was to check-in as it took us 90 minutes to complete. It turned out that after multiple calls/showing QR codes etc we had to start again with a different member of staff. Horrendous experience.
The lounge on the 40th floor offers nice views but it is really poorly managed: tables are dirty, the staff is suspicious and unwelcoming (I had to justify for another 20 minutes that I had the access to the lounge), choice of food is poor and the quality is really low.

Clean room, good bath, great toiletries and air con. Excellent location.
The room was very dated with old carpet and decor. But I got it pretty cheap and the location was fantastic so it's fine. The fridge wasn't working which I thought was unusual in summer.

Arrived late (around 10pm) and could order room service after a long travel. Staff members speak some English.
Staff were not very welcoming or friendly. Felt quite unwelcome. The room is old and there is mould in the bathroom. Drawers had splintering wood. Rooms need a refurbishment.

Awesome shower/bath combo on the basic double rooms. Very spacious and comfortable bed.
The tv brightness couldn't be adjusted, as all settings were locked.

1. absolutely no security
if you order something delivery guy will just put it on the table at the entrance but no one from the hotel security is actually checking (other hotel have one person specifically in charge of this).
2. no electrical outlet close to the bed!
so I need to charge my phone at 10 m from the bed... not very convenient.
3. one more thing the floor tile in bathroom was broken.

It is a ok place but not for foreigners, it should be regarded only CN citizen, I can not complain about anything, just have the feeling that they don’t welcome foreigners, maybe because of COVID-19 but all in all a good stay, I just changed hotel halfway
Not interested in foreigners

Good value for your money. Best part of this hotel is location. Close to public transportation, attraction place, and various authentic Chinese restaurants. I love this hotel.
