The food is amazing and the views are fantastic.
Nothing.

Food was really tasty as for such a hotel.

Absolutely nothing, this is the worst hotel I have ever been to and we are frequent travellers. Having stayed in all 4* and 5* hotels in playa Blanca over the last 10 years….. I can also confirm this is the worst in the area and not even a 3*. The ONLY saving grace is that the porter was helpful & I do appreciate that the staff did accommodate a room change, and then agreed to refund our second night so we could book another hotel. Ultimately it’s not their fault this hotel is in a poor state of repair and the standards are appalling. Changing location was preferable to staying - even if it was free. No amount of free Prosecco in the room or a fruit basket would have made a difference when everything else is terrible.
Location isn’t great, rubbish around the hotel. Building materials, bins, skips.
Rubbish lying around all over the hotel.
cockroaches seen in a few places
Awful tired state of walkways, corridors, pools, parts of rooms, doors, flooring. They would have to spend a lot of money to bring it back to 5* . This in terms of trip hazards would be dangerous to children or elderly.
Breakfast - disgusting standard. croissants stale & old. Juice seemed to be 1/2 mixed with some horrible concoction.
Pool sun-loungers are filthy.
Asking for a secure code that was text from my bank, to hold a deposit, which they shouldn’t do as I then spent 20 mins on the phone to my bank reassuring them.
The best part was that we were not committed to staying, if we had booked 2 weeks here I can imagine it would be very upsetting for someone saving all year for a holiday.. to then have such an awful place to stay.

after seeing that the H10 had had a refurb we thought we’d take the chance and book a week , not much of a refurb , the outside pool area was very nice , the lobby looked impressive but the place was dirty, the lifts were broke all the time and filthy… there’s no way this is a 5 star hotel .. a 3 star at its best! the food was awful and many people were complaining that the lunch was the same as the dinner in the evening , in the dining hall nothing was where it should be , there would be breakfast cereal but dinner plates were there no bowls and the milk was over the other side of the dining hall everything was mish mash, food was cold by time you’d walked a ten mile hike to all the different areas to get what you needed and flies were all over the food! very disappointing stay!
dirty hotel , food dreadful , not a 5 star and not what I’d expect from an H10 hotel!

Pillows were awful
All the pools were saltwater - would have preferred fresh water but understand that it is better for the environment

The lobby/reception area was amazing. The piano bar was very nice to sit and having a relaxing drink while listening to performers play piano or singing. The pools were very nice although cold in early April. The A la cartes were nice and the rooms were very good with excellent sea views.
The location of the hotel was to far away from any shops, bars, restraunts, beach etc. Would have bin nice to have service to sun loungers.

Animation team were exceptional and Hugo, Danny and all of the lovely staff didn't stop with entertainment. The hotel were amazing in accommodating our requests. The breakfast room and food served were superb.
no pool towels in the pool areas, you had to go to reception to change. The bridge was very uneven and dangerous as some of the planks were raised.

First, the positive points:
Room: Very comfortable, clean and well equipped. We had a superior double room with sea view- the balcony/terrace was spacious, with two sun loungers and a table & chairs.
Bars & Restaurants: The pool bar was great- a wide variety of drinks and poolside snack foods available. The Bistro was a definite highlight- the Hawaiian sandwich was sublime, along with their selection of smoothies. In terms of a-la-carte dining, the Sakura asian restaurant was brilliant!
Buffet restaurant has a wide selection of different foods, and the buffet breakfast was great, despite there being no table service in the mornings. Recommend eating at the buffet after 21:00 (9pm) to avoid the crowds.
Pools: the main pool is a great size- it's not heated, but in hot weather, that's not really an issue- really enjoyed it. There is one heated pool on the property, though its tiny size generally means it's better for children and families to use.
Staff: mostly friendly and helpful. Housekeeping were friendly and diligent. Check-in was smooth, despite there being a bit of a queue.
And now the negative points:
Bars & restaurants: On the first night of our stay, the buffet restaurant was pure chaos- this was around 20:30 (8:30pm). Queued for around 25 minutes to actually get into the buffet restaurant itself, only to be shown to a table with zero cutlery. This would have been fine, if we hadn't actually had to get up (after getting starters) and find staff to get cutlery. The staff appeared very stressed and overworked at this point- it was quite obvious they were not expecting the hotel to be as busy as it was. Furthermore, we weren't offered any drinks until well into dessert.
The Dolce Vita restaurant was a bit of a let down. Both my first, and second choice main courses were sold out upon ordering, meaning I had to order a dish I didn't really fancy.
The main hotel bar (the Piano Bar) was absolute madness. Queues, queues, queues. On numerous occasions, we queued for a long time, finally ordered drinks, only for our drinks order to be forgotten in the chaos. Once, after waiting around 20 minutes for our drinks to be made, my partner went to ask the bartender about the status of our drinks. When she did this, she was accosted by a fellow guest, accused of queue-jumping, and then racially abused by this guest.
Staff: the staff were MOSTLY fantastic, BUT we went to enquire about late checkout for our final day, due to us having a late evening flight. The staff member we initially enquired with was helpful, friendly and told us we could check out as late as we wanted, at a cost of €10 for every hour after midday. We went away to assess our options and decide on a plan. We returned to the reception to organise and pay for late checkout, only to be met by a different receptionist, who denied our request as "they didn't have any rooms left". A quick check on the hotel website showed this receptionist had just explicitly lied to us. Unacceptable.
Large tour groups, loutish behaviour from other guests, and more.

Wonderful Hotel, you can reach Playa Blanca in few minutes by car. Breakfast and dinner buffet with a great selection of food, you can choose cold dishes or they can prepare to you at the moment. In the evening you can enjoy a mojito with good music si the piano bar in the hotel.

The food was excellent, much nicer than expected for an all inclusive. The resort is great, no reserved sunbeds which is a bonus, plus there are plenty of them round each of the pools. Staff were very friendly & efficient
we had our daughter with us (we booked the room for 3) but there was no bedding/robe/towels for her, we couldn’t use our safe but other than that it was great

I got food poisoning.
