Excellent accomadation .Exceptional value for money.

Sade was an excellent host . The room was spotlessly clean , The best breakfast I,ve had for a long time . Location just a short walk from the town centre .

Fantastic hosts, fantastic house!

Lovely lovely hosts, very clean and cute room. Fantastic breakfast every single day without fail for our whole week stay. Could not thank Jon and Sade enough, they go above and beyond for every single guest. Absolutely fantastic 😊

Only slight issue is the parking, 3 very tight spaces and I suggest if you’re going to park up … don’t get in your car and leave as the space will be gone!

It was a fantastic stay

The breakfast was delicious they asked in advance what we wanted every morning. There was a mini fridge in each room with snacks and drinks and milk for hot drinks. The hosts were friendly and gave great advice for days out.

Exceptional

We recently returned from a weeks stay in Kethla house and it was brilliant. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are extremely comfy and the breakfast is available in abundance, there is so much choice and food and we never left the breakfast table feeling unsatisfied. The location is perfect for visiting the beach and all the local resturants ect with only a 10ish minute walk. I will say the part that makes Kethla house so amazing is the owners, they are so welcoming and friendly and warm and honestly cannot do enough, especially Sade! She was so very sweet and kind and loving towards my little boy I almost felt like she was part of the family with the way she was with him! She was the perfect host and went above and beyond to help myself, partner and son when we had trouble with transport! I don't think I would stay anywhere else now after being treated so kindly at Kethla house and we have already discussed coming back for a holiday next year!!

Positive experience!

The location was perfect, easily accessible. The hosts were excellent and made us feel incredibly welcome. We were met with a warm welcome by Sade, who kindly made us drinks with biscuits. Our room was well equipped and had the necessary essentials for ourselves, 9 year old son and 10 month old baby. We had a very comfortable nights sleep. Our breakfast did not disappoint and our 10 month old was catered for, despite porridge not being an option on the menu, Jonathan and Sade made sure they were able to supply this. We had the pleasure of meeting Jonathan and Sades children who are an absolute credit to them. Overall a positive experience and we look forward to returning in the near future!

Lovely and friendly hosts, comfortable and considerate accommodation. Really great!

Lovely guest house really close to Torquay town centre, easy to get around and see the town. Sade and Jon were extremely helpful and accommodating. Great breakfast choices too, lovely for the children to be made a fuss of and given a super choice of their liking too.

The only thing that was tricky was the parking but there were plenty of places near by to safely park the car so this wasn’t a problem.

Very welcoming from the minute we arrived, spotlessly clean, beds are comfortable rooms are decorated lovely with mini-bar.. breakfast was amazing with a variety of choice, Jonathan-sade are really lovely people so friendly, would definitely go back if down that way next time, would recommend 💯 to family and friends.. Thank you for a great stay 😊

The fridge/minibar in the room. The reliable hot water for the shower. And the breakfast of smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. Jon also gave excellent advice about transport and suggested a visit to Babbacombe which was very scenic and topped with a delicious cream tea.

The only coffee available was the instant variety. A cafetiere with ground coffee would have been much better.

Read the reviews first before booking and lived up to expectations, main reason for booking was cleanliness, comfy beds and excellent breakfast comments. Friendly informative hosts, would definitely stay again.

Exceptional Guest House - Jonathan & Sade offer a warm friendly approach.

Location was perfect, we had a lovely clean comfortable room. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty choice of variety. Spoilt for choice!!

A very happy stay, excellent value for money

We recieved a very warm welcome being offered tea/coffee on arrival whilst we checked in and made our breakfast choice for the following morning. The room was very clean with everything you'd expect and even had a mini-bar which was reasonably priced, the ensuit bathroom was very clean too. The cooked breakfast was excellent.

There’ll be no point in staying anywhere else when we visit Torquay again. We are so happy to have found Kathle House on

The room we were allocated was so spacious and beautifully decorated and he beds were comfortable which is always point no 1 on our list for obvious reasons. Sade received us quite late and she was so friendly, accommodating and still made time for a quick chat. Johnathan made us the most delicious breakfast and it was lovely exchanging stories and tales with him.

This place is an absolute gem. The hosts are so welcoming & nothing was too much trouble. Lovely, spotlessly clean room & loved all the extra touches like providing a fridge, fresh milk & a selection of snacks. Ideally located for walking to the front & despite being on a busy road & having a room that overlooked this we had a great nights sleep & didn't hear any traffic noise. Breakfast was fantastic, thank you Jonathan & Sade for such a lovely stay; cant wait to come back.
