Thank you for opening up your home. My husband called it a “sanctuary”and I couldn’t agree more. Our 3 kids (5,5,8) loved every minute of this vacation from the snacks (thank you!) to the water guns and the kid kayak. The newly updated kitchen was such a treat to cook in this week, from the double oven to all of the kitchen gadget, clearly they have thought of everything. My 8 year old will be talking about the huge bass that he hooked right off the dock that ate his hook and bobber for a long time coming. If renting a boat beware that the cove is VERY shallow and challenging to navigate. The bald eagles would daily make a path by the house as well as a cane which tickled my 5 year old who never left the binoculars too far from his hands. Never have we rented a lake house with AC and this greatly appreciated by my husband especially the ones in the bedrooms. Thank you for a wonderful stay, our dream is to own a lake house in Maine of our own and you have set the bar high for us.

Our family had a terrific week at Pleasant Point, once again! This is our third year gathering with our adult kids and their partners at Steph’s home and it really does feel like home when we return each summer. The camp is comfortably furnished and well appointed, and we greatly appreciate all the thoughtful little touches that have been added. The weather this year was all over the place but we still enjoyed our time on the dock, the deck, and in the kayaks. Spotting the eagles, herons, and loons remains a highlight! Thank you to Stephanie and family once again for opening your beautiful home to us. We look forward to next summer.

Amazing camp! Fully stocked and well loved and it shows. So much wildlife to enjoy right from the front yard. Only wish we had more time to spend there. Would definitely return in the summertime to enjoy the lake more. Just beautiful inside and out, and comfy beds which is always a plus! Thank you for a great stay!

A wonderful place!! Very clean and a lovely welcome basket of goodies!! Can’t say enough about all the birds. Eagles, loons, herons and more. All kinds of fish. Best fishing we have ever seen. ( we go to a different lake/pond every year in Maine) we even watched a mink scurrying around the rocks.
Only negative was they drain the pond down the end of September. Water level went down at least 6 feet (yes, feet) while we were there. Very muddy entrance to water. Couldn’t fish from dock and difficult to kayak from shore. That being said I would still recommend this Lovely cottage.

Perfect cottage for a family of 4. The kids enjoyed being so close to the lake a taking the boats out on their own. Large yard to play games. We stocked kitchen. My kids loved the snacks provided.

This is the perfect Maine lake getaway location. On the water, away from the world, but easy to get to ‘city’ life. Amazing fishing, glorious sunsets, all the accessories one would need for a vacation. Super clean, new appliances, well stocked kitchen, comfy furniture, solid wi fi, etc.
Host is a great communicator and made everything simple.
Only negative is the water, though potable is quite sulfurous. Would recommend packing in drinking water if this is an issue for you.
There are nice TVs in the family room and both bedrooms- I don’t recommend turning them (we didn’t), there are bald eagles, loons, ducks, herons, glorious sunsets and beautiful starry nights….all better than what’s on TV.
Big bonus- ridiculously good fishing. We caught lots of large mouth bass and a few pike both off the dock and from the provided boats.
Enjoy!

My family and I came up for a week and wished we could of stayed for a month. The cabin/camp was absolute perfection. Our mornings were greeted with the calls of Loons and the soars of Eagles. We fished each day with a relaxing fire and beautiful view of the sunset.
We would 100% recommend this cabin to any of our friends and family. The hosts were so wonderful and outfitted the cabin with all your needs and then some.
It was the perfect way for our family to say goodbye to Summer!!

We had a great week on Pleasant Point with our adult kids and their partners. This was our second year at the camp and it remains just as lovely as the last time we were there. The camp is comfortable and homey, the kitchen is well appointed and we really appreciated the welcome basket of snacks. We spent every day out on the dock reading and enjoying each other's company. We all loved bird watching -- loons, ducks, herons, hawks and eagles. Thank you to Stephanie and family for sharing their camp with us and letting us make lots of great vacation memories.

Stephanie is a great communicator answering several questions prior to our arrival to Pleasant Point.
The cottage is very clean and the location serene. We never left the property other than to go for a walk on the quiet roads. The Weber grill, all the pots/pans/dishes and spices as well as large fridge made it convenient to eat all our meals at “home”.
All week we used the 16 ft. canoe and checked our Webber Pond. Unfortunately, there was a significant fish die off in May. However, we had good success catching largemouth bass just 100 yards south of the dock in front of the brick house. Each morning we were accompanied by eagles, a heron, and loons.
The cottage had everything we needed for a very enjoyable week.

The camp was immaculate, and the check-in process flawless. The property is located right on the water and has a dock for immediate access. There is a wide variety of items to enjoy on the water: kayaks (even a child's), canoe, row boat, floats, rafts, and others. The camp is well-stocked with every sort of appliance and utensil you could imagine. Our host was more than patient with my many questions prior to our arrival, and she was always prompt with her reply. I can't say enough about this camp - thank you so very much!

What an absolutely wonderful rental experience! The host has made sure you have everything you could possibly need from a welcome basket, to plenty of comfortable resting spots, places to relax, an amazing view, extra towels and bedding, and just an an amazing and welcoming experience. I only have the nicest things to say about the host and this rental property. The communication skills are beyond expectations and I would recommend this stay to anyone!

This is a lovely home on Webber Pond. The place has been recently renovated and everything is modern and clean. The open kitchen / living area is spacious and bright, the deck is great, and the air conditioning is a bonus one wouldn't typically expect at a lake house in Maine. The bed we slept in was very comfortable.
One possible consideration for some guests is that the water off the dock is only a few feet deep -- fine for a dip and kids swimming, but certainly no diving.
Stephanie is a great host. Friendly, helpful, and accommodating, as well as prompt and reasonable in addressing something that arose.

This was our 2nd year renting on Webber Pond. We were thrilled to see the same place we stayed last year was available. Beautifully remodeled cabin with all the luxuries of home. The air conditioning was wonderful on those hot summer nights. If you love to fish and enjoy seeing bald eagles and other wildlife, this is the perfect spot! Steph is an amazing host and we’ll most likely be back for a 3rd year!

We enjoyed our 6 night stay here. The home is nicely updated and very clean. We had our grandchildren visit and they had a great time playing in the water and fishing off the dock. The host was always prompt in responding to any questions we had. We hope to visit again next year!

Steph is wonderful!
We loved the key-less entry/exit...always a concern that you might get locked out! Fishing was a bit disappointing to us but otherwise it was good. The stairs are a bit scary for older people so be careful as bathroom is down stairs. Thanks Steph for the welcome gift and being so prompt with communications!!

Pleasant Point is nothing short of magical. If you are looking for a peaceful and cozy place to connect with nature and see incredible sunsets, look no further! The home is well appointed and has everything a family might need for fun on the water. We had an amazing time and look forward to coming back!

Comfortable Camp with Incredible Sunsets!
We loved the camp at Pleasant Point. The house is very clean, comfortable, with a great mix of traditional and modern decor. It feels much bigger than it is due to the clean aesthetic and modern touches. The updated bathroom and kitchen, with new appliances, are an unexpected bonus for a Maine camp. The updates to the upstairs bedrooms give an unexpected level of comfort and privacy. The outdoor spaces are first-rate, including a modern deck with comfortable furniture and a large gas grill, and a first-rate dock. When we rented we took full advantage of the owners’ kayaks — a huge convenience for us.
We would be delighted to stay at this camp again. The hosts have created a beautiful vacation spot.

Perfect cabin and great host
We had a wonderful time during our stay on Pleasant Point. Steph sent the address and entrance info a couple days prior which was great and clearly communicated. The cabin was extremely easy to find, beautifully situated, and well equipped. The kitchen was fully stocked with pans, dishes, spices and a welcome basket of snacks as well as dish soap and laundry detergent. While we weren't able to enjoy the lake toys (too early in the season for our warm weather bones!) it was nice to have the option. We took advantage of the perfect location and spent our days at Natanis, painting, and exploring the nearby towns, and our evenings by the firepit with smores and soaking up the sounds of the loons and the lake lapping against the rocks. It was nice to have a downstairs bedding option as well on nights when navigating the stairs felt too daunting. If you're looking for a cabin that is both easily accessible and completely surrounded by nature stocked with all the comforts of home, you've found it! Thank you for opening your home to us and sharing such a beautiful slice of paradise.

Beautiful and quiet lake getaway
Stayed at the house for a few days in late September. The lake was quiet, the leaves just starting to turn—perfect. Steph was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful. The house was immaculate and mostly well-appointed. Highly recommended.

Anniversary Getaway
Great getaway to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary.
Beautiful spot on the pond and very clean and updated style camp. We chose to sleep downstairs using the Futon with all of the airy windows and views of the nights sky rather than upstairs where it was a little more closed in. The pond is a birders paradise with Bald Eagles, Herons, and King Fishers everywhere. We kayaked the entire perimeter of the pond 9 miles, four hours and well worth the trip. One night having a fire we had an owl land just above us on a tree branch directly over our heads, AMAZING!!! If your lucky you may also see Minks scurrying around on the shoreline. And not to forget absolutely over the top sunset!!!!!!

Family vacation
Our family of 5 (all over 18) stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed every minute! The eagles and loons provided daily entertainment, the lake was uncrowded and beautiful, and the house was comfortable and clean. Everything we needed was there, and Stephanie answered any questions we had very quickly. Loved this vacation!

Beautiful Spot!
Remodeled beautifully. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer place. Steph was great with communication and she was very accommodating with last minute changes in dates. We loved it!
We rented a boat and literally caught over 100 fish. I brought my own paddle board and there were also kayaks there to use. I can’t say enough about the property and the host!

This was the perfect place for a family with 3 young kids. The shallow water was great for swimming and newbie kayakers. I would highly suggest water shoes though for the rocky parts. The large, private lot was the perfect place to run and play. The fire pit was safe and fun for s'mores. The house had everything we needed for our stay! Great fishing pond! My husband caught over 100 fish off a boat the first day we were there. We will definitely consider this place again!

Wonderful family getaway
We spend an amazing 4 days at this beautifully renovated lake house. There was plenty of room for our family of 4. Both bedrooms were a good size and beds were comfortable. The kitchen was amazing, stocked with everything we needed and then some! We really enjoyed the keurig cappuccino machine and had coffee out on the deck every morning while our boys fished right from the dock. The lake was beautiful, my boys enjoyed swimming right off the dock and three kayaks were provided that we used to explore the lake, we even saw a bald eagle on one of our paddles. We finished our evening with s’mores by the firepit and amazing sunsets. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway!

Webber Pond Holiday
Very much enjoyed this property! Wildlife was unbelievable...a beaver lodge under construction along the shore, 50 feet away, as well as a pair of adult eagles and two juveniles, not to mention a pair of loons! Property itself has recently been renovated top to bottom and we particularly liked the open layout, the outside porch and the air conditioning since the temperature got into the high 80’s, low 90’s on several days this week. Very well appointed with two comfortable beds, lovely throughout. Well worth it!
