About this house rental
Aloha!
My name is Lindsey and I'm happy to be your host in beautiful Laie, located on the world-famous North Shore of Oahu. Like the hibiscus in our yard, I grew up here and love this town so much that I'm raising my own children in this side of paradise. Laie is known for sites such as the Polynesian Cultural Center, Brigham Young University-Hawaii campus, and the Laie LDS Temple (all within 5-10 minute walking from the rental). From your windows, you'll have pocket views of the iconic Hukilau beach--perfect for body- boarding beginners as well as experts--just half a block away. You'll be treated to the backdrop of the Ko'olau mountain range, full of scenic hikes to waterfalls. Take a morning stroll or ride on the nearby paved bike path along historic Gunstock Ranch. Order some Hawaiian sweet bread french toast or Portuguese sausage and eggs for breakfast at the famous Hukilau Café, only a couple hundred feet from your bedroom. And of course, you're just a short drive away from the beaches that make the North Shore famous: Sunset, Pipeline, and Waimea. I'm happy to provide suggestions and insider tips for exploring both the neighborhood and the entire island. There are so many things to see in Hawai'i, but more important is what can be felt: the spirit of love and aloha thriving here in this small town or Laie. Come and join us, and you'll understand. Host and family live on property.

This home was located in the perfect spot for our trip to Hawaii. Close to the Laie temple, PCC, beaches, and more. Home was very cute and decorated nicely with beach vibes. Everything was comfortable and roomy enough for my family. Owner was very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Hawaii.

My stay was GREAT! The rental was clean, comfortable, and just a 5 minute walk from the beautiful Hukilau beach. Lindsey (the host) was friendly and offered great suggestions for things to do in the area. My car even started to lose air in one of its tires, and Lindsey was kind enough to let me borrow an air compressor to fill it up since the nearby gas station’s pump was out of service. Talk about going above and beyond! I would definitely recommend staying here.

Close to everything, right in Laie Great everything. Priced reasonable and clean and comfortable.

The place works great for 4 people or a family with 3 children. It is on the second level so have a flight of stairs. There is a landing big enough to store beach chairs and shoes, but no outdoor space to sit and have morning coffee or read a book. Overall, Lindsey is super, the accommodations are nice, and beds are comfy.
