Fun house and town for a weekend getaway with the guys.

Really enjoyed staying at this house. The location is great and so close to the water. Just a 3minute walk to Cranberrys which was perfect since we went to have some drinks. Beds with the exception of the bunk bed room were very comfortable and spacious.

Great location on Indian Lake, Seminole Island. Close to anything we needed. Very spacious. Comfortable rooms and clean linens. Nice appliances.Plenty of room to easily park 4 or 5 vehicles.K cup brewer and coffee provided.Would like to have a full coffee maker to make a pot in the morning. Bring one if you drink a lot.Outside could have used a little maintenance.Would stay here again.

Ice maker froze up and broke the tray when someone was trying to get ice. Grill had no gas. Everything else was decent

We really enjoyed staying at the house. It was a perfect size for us. We loved the living room area, the well stocked kitchen and the seating arrangements throughout the house. As far as cleanliness. We weren’t too impressed. There were breadcrumbs on the toaster and on the counter and gnats in the refrigerator . In the bedroom where the large bathroom was there were at least three maybe four receptacles that weren’t working. I already mentioned that to the caretaker so that he could fix them.

House worked great for our needs. Attended a family wedding and had to care for the elderly grandparents that live nearby and shuttle them to the wedding also.

The property was clean and comfortable, and it was a great location to see the eclipse. There were a few minor issues and inaccuracies in the description. There was no cable or satellite TV, just streaming. Most of the master BR plugs did not work which was a challenge for my CPAP. We only found 3 bikes not 4 and the tires were in disrepair. The main room overhead light was not working. The shower knob in master bath came off when you turn it. A few other small issues like that. Nonetheless, I would not hesitate to stay there again if we are in the area.

The four of us were very happy with the accommodations. We were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed plus.

Everything was fabulous!! The house was perfect!!
My only suggestion is to leave instructions on how to operate the TVs.
Thanks!!

Bed were terrible, super lumpy and soft. Carpet was old, dirty, they had to have pets living there at some point and it wasn’t put on the listing. Two people in my family are allergic to cats and dogs and had reactions. Two super aggressive dogs next door outside at all times barking and growling at kids and us, trying to jump over fence. I texted host about issues and never heard back. Tv in bedroom was connected to internet but nothing would load. Tv in bunk bed room is dvd player only, the listing said all tvs were smart or had connect-ability. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great.

This house is in a nice area. It's the 2nd row from the lake but it's a short walk to the lake.
Cleanliness- very nice
Amenities- having coffee pods available (and quite a few) is very nice. A TV in the main room and two bedrooms can be nice but the remotes weren't labeled and only the one in the main room worked. Probably batteries but if you are coming home in the evening you can't just call someone to bring batteries.
Three windows were unlocked and slightly ajar so they aren't checked. For security, please do it yourself.
The kitchen is not well lit.
The caretaker was very responsive when I asked for additional towels and he immediately replaced a smoke detector that someone removed. I hope it was a recent thing.
If you can handle little annoyances, it's a great place.

The area was nice and quiet in a good neighborhood very pleasant would stay again.

This house was very nice! Really enjoyed the covered patio area. Not very fond of the remote in the master bedroom. Would be nice if the lighting was just on a switch. Overall, it was a clean, updated house.

I have emailed the owner after our stay about the following items, but didn't get a response.
The house is very nice overall. Previous reviews mention issues with the small things, and we have fixed them.
* We fixed the door to the bedroom off the kitchen so it properly closes and latches.
* We fixed the recliner so it no longer reclines all the way back unless you want it to.
* We fixed the master bath sliding doors that would not shut.
The bad: master bed collapsed on first night. Boards under the supporting middle feet are not stable.
Kitchen is well equipped.

Six adults and two toddlers greatly enjoyed their 3-day weekend here. The wooded property was beautiful and there were back and front lawns for the children to play on. The covered porch was the best place to hang out, for all of us, and there was adequate room for us to sit, with tables for drinks, toys, and craft projects.
The kitchen was well-stocked, which we appreciated because we prepared all of our meals. (Therefore, I can't comment on the dining facilities around the lake.)
It's about a 10-minute walk to a park at the edge of the lake, where there are benches for those of us in our 70's. The rest of the family continued on to a nature path.
The only downside to the walk is that there are no sidewalks and some of the cars passing us drove a little too fast for our liking, considering the children, who were not in strollers.
The dining room table seated 6 comfortably, so we were glad that we had brought a card table to extend it. The rest of the house was large enough that we had plenty of room for the kids to play with their toys and the adults to socialize.
The fire pit was a plus.
We would gladly stay here again.

I assumed lake access was from property but it was not. The one is across the road and through residential properties. Possibly my mistake for not checking better but I’m pretty sure I sorted by lakefront

No towels were in the bathrooms so we had to hunt for them. The kitchen lights didn’t seem to work properly. All in all we would stay here again.

Nice home, but a bit quirky.
We had a lovely weekend sharing this home near Indian Lake with family members. There were however a few issues with the home that we found a bit quirky. The one bedroom off of the kitchen, had one door that didn't fit inside the door jam, and thus would not shut. The best you could get was an inch or so close to closed, and the other door was a barn door style, that bounced open on a regular basis. Made for interesting privacy issues. The sheets provided were all microfiber sheets, and were both slippery and not breathable. Made for very restless sleeping on the two hot nights. Good old fashioned cotton would have been a plus!!!
The recliner in the living room was crooked, and leaned you at a funny angle and made it hard to get out of. Also one door to the porch area had a miss matched strike plate, making it VERY hard to get it to lock. Next to impossible, we reported it, and hopefully it will be fixed as it really is a security issue.
The kitchen was pretty well decked out, but there was no large skillet for cooking, so fixing food for a large group of 7 was extended due to having to cook in batches.
The location was pleasant and close to everything in the surrounding area. It is a home that is on the list for future stays, maybe.

Great Place to Stay
A group of (4) adults in town on business stayed comfortably in this house. We enjoyed the backyard porch one evening and could see the place would be great for a family vacation. The house is fully appointed, clean and in great working order. We will stay here again.

Great Place to Stay
(4) adults in town on a business trip stayed extremely comfortably in this home. We enjoyed the outdoor back patio on one evening and could clearly see that the entire backyard area could be used effectively by a family with or without children. The kitchen is ample size for meal prep and all furnishings and appliances were in excellent shape.
Our guest contact Lynn was prompt to reply both times I contacted him only to let him know that we had checked in and that we had checked out.
We had ZERO issues with anything and look forward to staying in this property again
I highly recommend this home.

Immaculate House - Great Location
This is a very cute, well-laid out house that was perfect for our little outing. We had 8 adults and all were very comfortable. There really wasn't anything missing we could find - towels, sheets, dishes, utensils, etc were all available. This place is in walking distance to Cranberry's and you can see the lake through houses on the other side. We would stay here in a minute! Only minor issue - we couldn't get the icemaker to work. Very small problem that was easy to overcome. This is definitely a great place to stay again and would be even more enjoyable in warm weather.

Comfortable home
The home was comfortable and had everything we needed! Fairly sound proof home with the floor plan. The covered deck was very inviting, though we didn't get to use it much due to the cooler temps. Would highly recommend!

Memories made with friends
It’s a wonderful place to be with friends and dance to music provided by Alexa! Loved it!
FYI: We couldn’t lock the door to the porch (right side of the mantle) and the pull on the living room fan fell off.

Convenient Family Option!
My family and I decided to get away and this was one of the 4 options available. We went a Monday through Wednesday. It’s a great location just a minute or two walk to Cranberry’s where you can eat starting at 11 am, fish off their docks and also park a rental boat if you get one. It’s in a neat neighborhood that has an eclectic array of owners and home types of all ranges (expensive to not so expensive) Retirees, rentals etc. We have three kids (teenager and then 1yr old and 2.5 yr old). We brought a stroller but there are no sidewalks so it’s alittle dangerous because the house is on a thoroughfare but it’s not like there’s a million cars driving by constantly (at least for a weekday trip!).
The house is a nice layout for those with little kids! We closed all the doors and put gates up to the kitchen and the kids roamed safely and freely. It’s carpeted which is nice for little ones. The rooms are very quiet - I couldn’t hear anything going on in the house in any of the rooms. So if you’re a family with little ones, this house is a good spot.
All the bedrooms had USB end tables which was awesome. Also had an extra plug in them too. Definite plus.
The rooms had enough space for large pack and play for my kids to sleep. We packed two!
The house had everything you could need so that was helpful.
The beds were soft and comfortable.
The master bathroom shower was cool but I never got a chance to use it. It was fun for my kids to practice vocals in :)
The home overall offered what we were needing.
I would say, it needs a thorough cleaning...it’s clean on the surface...I am not a VRBO expert but I was disappointed at the cleanliness especially being we paid a cleaning fee.
There were house spiders in the corners and every window had cobwebs between the screens and windows and big spiders and lots of dead bugs on the back patio. It really needs some TLC. I didn’t feel comfortable sitting on the patio simply because there were so many spider webs around. If it were my property, none of that would be there. The windows had hand print marks on them so those weren’t cleaned before we got there from previous stay(s).
There was also a dog at the next door neighbors house who barked at us but if you ignore him, he will go away. Not a big deal.
The exterior of the home needs some work as well. The step was warped upon arrival and broke on us during our stay :(
We made good memories there though! Thanks!

Relaxing getaway
House is exactly as pictured. Spacious and cozy. A walking distance to cranberry resort. Bikes to stroll around the neighborhood and catch some trails for sunset. Deck outside is gorgeous at night with the lighting. Quiet and tranquil vibes. We ventured out into the other parts of lake including Russell’s point, Lakeview, Froggy's on the lake, and the state park beaches. All in all everything outside this neighborhood is a 10-20 min away. We enjoyed our time and the great hospitality. Thank you!

Amazing stay!!

The house itself is really cool. There’s three outdoor seating areas. (One shaded with cushy outdoor couches!)We found it to be exactly what we were looking for... a peaceful, cozy space. The beds are comfortable with nice linens. FYI the bedroom with the bunk beds is the darkest...for any cave sleepers. The kitchen is super clean and easy to maneuver. And the attached garage is nice to park a car...Even if just for the shade. The neighborhood is all lake houses. You can walk to one of the local restaurants on the water. The host was very responsive and helpful too. Overall it was great, and I would recommend this home.
