Nice spot about 20 minute walk from capital building., and rest of National Mall area. Kitchen was well stocked, and Mattresses are comfortable. Parking spot was great to have. For our stay

A wonderful location! We were able to walk everywhere, even the grocery store, Giant Foods. And if you get tired, there are scooters and bikes to rent. Friendly neighbors too. Just a wonderful experience, and a wonderdul home.

A well kept property with full amenities. On-site parking was very convenient. Property manager was responsive and helpful. A comfortable walk to the main sites (<30min), or an easy Uber ride

The unit was spacious, clean, and in a perfect location. So many little conveniences were thought of, too! Communication was quick and easy. We visited during spring break and the park across the street was full of cherry blossoms. Loved walking to the Mall, and loved the off-street parking for those times we ventured farther away and needed to use our car.
It was 5 of us, two adults and kids aged 8, 10, and 17. My son ended up using the provided air mattress instead of the fold out sofa bed so that he could sleep in the bedroom, but he found that comfortable as well. The only tiny thing to note was that the water heater seemed pretty small. We spaced out our showers to avoid cold water.
Overall, we had an absolutely wonderful stay. I'd recommend this rental to anyone, and would love to come back to it on our next DC visit!

The apartment is a lot more spacious than it looks on the photos. Location is great. Excellent connection to public transportation and Washington sites as well as supermarkets and restaurants. Parking on site is such a treat to have.

Great location. Having a parking space was a huge benefit. Walking distance to the Capital, etc… Apartment was clean. King bed was great. Host lives upstairs in building and was able to fix an issue with the code key (batteries) right away. Beautiful neighborhood. Driving in DC is very confusing so walk, bike, scooter, bus or Uber when you can.

Ample space for family of 5. Nice park across the street for our dog. Easy walk to many restaurants. A little far to walk to the monuments. Beautiful neighborhood.

Very comfortable, larger than expected, comfortable beds and furniture. Check in was easy. Great location. Parking in assigned location can be tricky if others don’t pull their cars in, but notes on windshields worked.

We highly recommend this adorable home! It’s located in a safe, family oriented neighborhood and within walking distance to union station, the capitol, museums and lots of restaurants. It is supplied with all the necessities and the owners are quick to respond to any questions or needs. Off road parking was also a huge plus. When we return to DC we will be booking again!

Our stay in DC was great at this location. We traveled by train with small kids. It is a 10-15 minute walk from Union Station. There is the best playground across the street our kids loved. Our teenage daughter also enjoyed the Vietnamese restaurant, proximity to the Supreme Court, senate buildings, and rotunda. The apartment is on the ground floor of a traditional building with a lovely front yard and back patio. There were plenty of towels, linens, and space. The kitchen has all the essentials and there were even coffee options. There are multiple bus lines close by and the metro lines are about a 10 minute walk. Definitely a great destination!

Great location.
Nice neighborhood.
For what I paid per night I was very disappointed with the condition of the property.
It was not an inviting space.
Everything looked old and frankly dirty.
Only a couch as hard as a park bench was in the living room.
No TV in the bedroom.
Bathroom sink had barely a trickle of water
Overall for the price definitely not worth it

This apt. Is much nicer and bigger than it looks in the pictures. We loved staying here! We were concerned a little before we came that it might be small for our family but that was not the case at all. It was plenty roomy, immaculately clean, the beds were comfortable and they have tried to anticipate everything you might need. The outdoor spaces are wonderful, with the private back patio and a lovely front yard with tables and relaxing chairs. The location is fantastic….right across the street from Stanton Park and within walking distance to the Mall, Eastern Market and plenty of good restaurants. And major perk….it comes with a parking space! What a joy it was to not have to try to find parking! This is now our new go-to place when we come to DC. I’d rent it again in a heartbeat and can’t recommend it highly enough!

Prettiest goods

The property is perfectly located for getting to the Hill and only regret is that we were working or sleeping the whole time , and so had no chance to enjoy the amenities. Also, needed an early check in and late checkout that wasn’t available because of other guests. But it was fine all the same and would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Spent the weekend visiting with one of our children attending an area University. My wife and I traveled with our younger teenager and our English Bulldog. The location was perfect for everything we needed. Despite being literally blocks from the Capitol, the neighborhood was quaint and quiet. Plenty of folks walking to restaurants, moms with strollers, children in the park, creating a very family friendly atmosphere. The place itself had everything needed for our short stay and looks just as it is advertised. The off street parking was also major plus.

Good location, nice space
Everything was quiet, nice, very clean. Good location - about 10/15 minutes walk to Union Station, grocery stores, and only about 5 min from bus stops and restaurants. Walkable to the Nat'l Mall.
The beds weren't that comfortable and it would've been nice to have some extras like paper towels and dishwasher tabs. Having the outdoor courtyard, washer and dryer were great bonuses, though. Overall, we were happy with the space and would recommend.

First time DC trip with 3 teenage boys!
Bucket list trip for my wife and 3 teenage boys! The apartment is perfectly located to walk or metro to see all of the major sites of DC. Having 4 different beds worked out great as well. The owner gave great recommendations for food and checked in to make sure all of our staying needs were met. I would recommend this place to stay for especially for a family of 4 or 5!

Perfect stay for family vacation in DC
I brought my 12 and 14 year old boys to DC for the first time. We wanted to do a lot of sightseeing and this was a great location. It was very quiet and in a lovely neighborhood. We had a minor plumbing issue and the owner came down right away to address it. I would definitely recommend this rental. It is bigger than it looks from the pictures and was quite comfortable for the 3 of us.

Safe and easy location for getting around Washington DC
I stayed here for 2 weeks with my husband and dog. It was very easy to get around the city with our car or Uber. Also want to mention that very affordable rental bikes and scooters are right across the street. We did not try the subway or bus system, but heard those were easy to use as well. I would feel very safe staying here as a single female. There is a park right across the street that is perfect for walking your dog. Kitchen is well stocked, and there is a dishwasher, washer and dryer. Nice coffee bar. Also nice privacy fenced patio out back with table and chairs. Perfect! I hope to be back. Thanks so much. Excellent stay, excellent location
This spot was perfect! Easy walking distance to major attractions like Union Station, Capitol building, George Washington Monument, Smithsonian Museums, etc. it also had a great little park with a playground right across the street. The space was decorated nicely and had everything as described in the listing. I would definitely stay here again.

Washington DC quick trip
Pros: the house and parking situation is as described. Parking in DC is tight as expected. We were grateful to have a parking spot even if it's a bit tight (we had a minivan). The location is great, less than 0.5 mi from US Capitol. We took a quick stroll there which was nice.
The 2 bedrooms are big, one has a comfortable king size bed (which was a surprise for us or may be I forgot that in the description). There is a queen size airbed that also fit well in that same room. Our daughter (who likes to kick when she's sleeping) ended up on that. It was perfect! The other room has a comfortable queen size bed. The living room queen size pull-out couch is also comfortable. One bathroom is a little challenging BUT it's clean, and we managed. The kitchen is efficient, has all the plates, utensil, pots & pans. Love the coffee area w/ an espresso machine, a 10-cup coffee maker, and a Keurig. There was ample supplies for coffee. I was in my own heaven (as any coffee drinker would be).
Cons: the house is located at an intersection, so it's a little challenging to back out of the driveway (if you have a 2nd person to act as your traffic controller, you'll be all set). There was only coffee supplies at the house. No other spices, not even salt & black pepper. I bought salt and an can of olive oil spray to make eggs for breakfast, and I left them there. Hopefully, as more people come, the kitchen will accumulate some basic spice for simple/quick cooking.
Overall, we love the place. It was nice to be in the middle of DC. If we need to stay in DC again, we'd definitely come back. Thank you for offering your place to us.

Great Experience
This 2 bedroom apartment was the perfect size for our family. With a pull out couch, our 12 year old didn't have to share a bed with our 4 year old, which made it much easier! There were toys and books for the little one as well. Beds were comfortable and clean. Beautiful patios to enjoy the outdoors, and kitchen was stocked with utensils and cooking items for "home-made" meals. They also provided some toiletries, which was wonderful! We would definitely stay here again in the future. The location was beautiful and close to all of the must-see sights.

Wonderful stay!
The property was comfortable and spacious and had all the basics we needed as a family of four. The location is wonderful and there is a park right across the street. We appreciated the quick responses from the owner and they even offered to let us borrow a stroller for our 3 year old. I’m definitely saving this listing for future visits!

Best VRBO experience ever. Hands down!
Jordan and Danielle are by far the best hosts I have ever rented from. Extremely accommodating, helpful, communicative, and kind. We mentioned that we were traveling with our baby and dog and they took the time to provide us with a high chair, stroller, and a pack and play. They even had outlet covers for added security. These hosts went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable during our short stay in their home. I would give 10 stars if I could. We will certainly be back without a doubt. Thanks again for everything! We can’t express how accommodating you were during our stay. See you again very soon!
