We live in a 1907 home and have great appreciation for the joy and quirks of an old home. Rita's home holds this history too but has been upgraded in a way to maximize comfort. The home is beautiful and well equipped. It is also in the perfect location for traveling around DC and the surrounding area. There are countless places to visit on foot and its proximity to the Metro is simply unrivaled. We would love to stay again and recommend without reservation.

The location is perfect, the hosts very nice and responsive, the WiFi is excellent, it’s on a beautiful street close to the subway and the beds are comfortable with the softest sheets I’ve ever felt. I would stay here again.

Rita was an amazing host. The house was beautiful and had everything we could have needed and more! The house was conveniently located, just a short walk to the capitol. We wished we could have stayed longer than one night to fully use all of the amenities!

This house was perfect for our family exploring DC for spring break! Great location, clean, owner communicated all information needed (and then extras about what all was nearby to enjoy) - would love to stay here again if we come back to the area!

My family and I had a wonderful stay in Rita's beautiful home. The location was unbeatable. A short walk to the Capitol and surrounding museums plus a wide array of restaurants just one block away. A great home base for venturing out and a clean and comfortable place for staying in. Highly recommend!

Loved this home for how conveniently located it is to the Metro, as well as tons of walkable eateries/stores. Neighborhood is cute and safe. Comfortable beds and bedding. Host was prompt and responsive with questions. Only point to keep in mind is that it is a historic home, and as such the floors do creak when walking. It wasn’t bothersome to our group, but might be to an especially light sleeper. We would gladly return again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this clean, charming and centrally located row house. Loved that the Metro stop and the Eastern Market were a short walk. The host responded in a timely fashion. We would definitely book this wonderful property again!

Four of us stayed a week in this lovely 3 bedroom house. The location is great and the neighborhood is family friendly. It’s a very old house so the stairs are steep and the floors are creaky but all in all we had a great stay.

We had an excellent experience at this property! The decor is lovely and the house is charming. The host Rita, was incredibly responsive and accommodating. She was kind enough to secure 2 street parking passes for us. We had no trouble finding parking nearby. The Metro is less than 5 minutes walking distance. Right around the corner is an organic market where we could get food items for our young children. Many great restaurants close by, as well as a nice park with a splash pad for kids under 10. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen has everything we needed for meals. Thanks Rita for sharing your home with us!

This home is very clean. The bedding is delightful- wonderful pillows! The kitchen, dining and living spaces were all nicely appointed and made out together times comfortable. The home is about half a block away from the Eastern Market rail station, which made getting around DC easy. A great place to stay.

Wow! This stay was just superb! The host was so friendly and was able to give us 2 parking passes for the days we stayed there. They also let us drop our bags off early, before the normal check-in time, so we didn't have to drag our suitcases around while waiting for the property to get cleaned. I would HIGHLY recommend this location as its walking distance to Eastern Market and the train station. The home was great, everything worked properly, and it was well put together and had plenty of room. Definitely recommend this if you are visiting and we can't wait to return!

We loved our time spent at this beautiful, quintessential Capitol Hill townhome. The perfect amount of space for our 4 adult and 2 young kid crew, incredibly clean, easy check-in/access. Located just steps from the Eastern market metro stop, it was so easy to travel around DC. Very cute neighborhood with lots of restaurants, bars, shops around the block. Highly recommend, and would love to stay here again!

Our overall impression was fabulous. The location was perfect near all of DCs best attractions, train lines, and transportation to and from the DCA airport was easy. In the heart of Eastern market and within walking distance to the famous 8 & I row for dining. We plan to stay there again on our next DC get-together.

We rented this property for a short trip over fall break with our kids. You cannot beat the location. One of my favorite neighborhoods in DC. It's close to eastern market and lots of great restaurants and cafes. Metro is less than a block away or a short Uber ride to do many top locations in DC. The property itself is very nice and unique. We didn't use the kitchen much because we were out and about a lot but was well stocked with appliances etc.. The rooms are on the smaller side but had everything we needed. Great artwork throughout the condo and lots of interesting books in the library. We ran into one minor issue with the ceiling fan in one of the guest bedrooms and the owner was very responsive! Overall, we had a great time and would definitely rent this property again.
