At first impression the Condo seemed warm, inviting with a great view.
The community was beautiful & appealing.
That being said the unit itself although clean was in need of some upgrades such as kitchen sink & the guest bathroom.
The pictures on the walls were mostly croocked.
A little more disappointing was that there were no basics such as coffee, tea, sugar or other essentials that usually are provided to a certain degree with this type of stay. For the overall cost, it just seemed a bit a bit over priced.

The perfect spot for my needs. This villa has been given lots of love with superb taste. Grateful for the opportunity to stay awhile.

This property was extremely nice; large King bed with two full bathrooms. It is on the first floor, corner unit with great ocean view. The beach was not crowded and easy to access along boardwalk over dunes. Owner was very attentive and all amenities were in the unit.

Great property,, we’ve stayed in at keast 7 different Pelican Watch properties and this is our favorite,, - condo was spic and span clean, well equipped, very homey- didn’t feel like a rental . You can’t beat location or accommodations- and our host Joanna was amazing!

We had an absolutely lovely stay at this property. It was clean, quiet and extremely enjoyable. The beach is so close and easily accessible with the boardwalk. The amenities were great and the community was very welcoming. Johanna was a very attentive owner and was very easy to communicate with as questions came up. It was a perfect little beach getaway- thank you!!

My husband and our two small boys spent 5 days at this beautiful beachfront condo. There is plenty of space for our family. The home was immaculate. And there were a ton of family games and books to keep the kids entertained. It was a short 3 minute walk to the water over gorgeous boardwalks and dunes. The water was calm as it flowed out of the Edisto river. Perfect for my early learning swimmers. A short bike ride to the Northern end of the island give us the big waves and sprawling sands we were looking for. The island is wonderful. We have been coming here on and off for the last decade. And this is by far our favorite rental property.

We chose this location based on the beach access right out of the back porch - it didn’t disappoint. While not a big* beach, this spot was charming and relaxing and took all of the pains of going to a public beach out of the equation - parking, restroom runs, etc. was nice to spend full days and evenings out there and be able to run back in for lunch, dinner before sunset, etc. the unit itself was very spacious and a good reprieve from the sun and heat, the only minor downside was the upstairs neighbors woke us up every morning stomping around back and forth. Still worth it.

Johanna's condo was just perfect for us. Its nicely decorated and the location is unbelievable. The views of the water and the closeness of the beach are fantastic.
We had such a wonderful time. Also, Johanna's is the most gracious host we've ever encountered. Her communication is world class. Seabrook Island is a little gem. We can't wait to come back!

We stayed here for the Kiawah marathon and absolutely loved it! The space was clean, beautiful, and had everything we needed. Beautiful ocean and sunset view as well. We also rented bikes from Alligator Bikes, and the drop off/pickup was seamless. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

It was a great weekend on the island. The villa has everything you need. The location is convenient to restaurants along with shopping in case you need a few things. Johanna was great to work with. She answered all my questions before we arrived and was available when I contacted her with a question when we arrived. Looking forward to another visit.

This condo and the island are simply beautiful! The pictures of the condo are a true representation of what we found. We had everything we needed in the condo and Johanna WAS SO RESPONSIVE and a pleasure to work with.
The vegetation, plant life and wildlife are unlike any other beach/coastal vacation spot I have been to. The deer wandering freely and unafraid provided a glimpse of what heaven is going to be like--humans and animals living in harmony.
The condo community, and island for that matter, is so quiet and the beaches were not crowded whatsoever. And everyone we encountered was so friendly!
If you enjoy collecting shells, you're going to love this island! Conch shells are plentiful, just make sure they are not inhabited! Sand dollars can be found on North Beach. Keep your eyes open and on the water to see the dolphins. Capn Sam's Inlet is one of the few places dolphins can be seen "stranding"-- dolphins momentarily beach (or strand) themselves, as they push their prey (fish) ashore before sliding back into the water. Unfortunately, we did not get the opportunity to witness this, but I did see this happen on the beach in front of this condo--unfortunately I wasn't close enough to fully grasp this incredible sight.
I cannot say enough about this cozy island and the condo. I hope to return.

We love Pelican Watch Villas and the location is perfect. I did speak with the owner about an issue but will share them here as well.
The microwave did not work. We googled instructions for that model but still did not have success. When I spoke with the owner she said it was a new microwave and had been installed the day before we arrived. I would recommend with installation of new appliances that they be tested before a guest arrives. Not having microwave was a bit inconvenient. Certainly did not ruin our vacay but it would've been nice to have.
The villa was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

We have been staying here for a few visits and every time it is GREAT. Having the amenities card is a plus and the condo is perfect. The hostess is so helpful and goes above and beyond to make the stay all you want it to be.

We had a great time with our two granddaughters at Pelican Watch. This unit was very clean with nice finishes and is one of the better units we have stayed in at Pelican Watch. The flooring, deck furniture and patio door look new.
This is an end unit and there is a set of windows on the side wall which let in plenty of light during the day. It is easier to bring baggage in and out from your car since it is a lower level unit. With outdoor temps in the 90's, the A/C unit had no trouble keeping the condo cool.
Johanna is a good communicator and has done a super job providing instructions and info for most anything you might need to know before your arrival or during your stay. It is obvious she cares about her guests having a good experience during their stay in her unit. We will definitely be back here again.

This was a great condo rental in a great location on seabrook island. The condo was clean, the check in was easy, and the condo is a short little walk to the beach off the back patio. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. The only little complaint was that the wifi was not working too well, but could have just been while we were there! Overall great visit and amazing host.

Our family of four (2 kids) loved our time at this condo. Location is perfect and the views were spectacular!

Our family has many fond memories of Seabrook Island. My Husband's Nana lived there for decades! When she passed away earlier this year we wanted to continue making memories there with our children. Johanna was fabulous to work with, her Villa is nicely updated and has classy beachy vibes. We loved being able to walk out the Patio doors, down a few steps to the Boardwalk that takes you to the beach. The walk in 3 minutes to the beach. We always enjoy fishing, walking, looking for blue crabs, spotting deer & rabbits. We grocery shopped at Freshfields Village. Sunsets are gorgeous at Bohicket Marina. Next time we will add bikes and a golf cart.

Very spacious one bedroom condo just steps from the beach. Nice little patio area that you can see to the beach. Pet friendly and great communication with the property manager. It could use a little updating but overall a great place!
5.0 / 5.0
While a few little touch ups will make the unit perfect, the view and location within Seabrook Island is wonderful. This unit has everything you need for a perfect get away and a great owner.
Walk to the main club house with outdoor pool and restaurants. Drive to the work out facility with indoor pool and pay a fee to use them. Walk the boardwalk off the patio to the beach and view the sunsets. Things out of owners control are a little noisy upstairs and the rules of Seabrook Island and what is included can be intimidating.

This was a great place for a couple ( and a small dog). The location was convenient to the surrounding restaurants & activities yet still maintained its privacy, with a great waterfront view!

We were visiting for a wedding, the condo was very nice had everything we need for our short stay, just a boardwalk walk to the beach out the front door.
4.0 / 5.0
This was such a pretty unit - very nicely decorated in the living area and master bedroom. The furniture was in excellent condition and the decor was perfect. Bed was super comfortable and we both slept very well! The view was beautiful as well. The unit was fully stocked with fun board games, puzzles, and books!
My only recommendations would up updating the kitchen and bathrooms - fixed shower heads vs. handhelds (the handhelds would not stay "centered") and taller vanities in bathrooms. Also might suggest a higher cable package to include some basic things like ESPN. We were there over Thanksgiving weekend and couldn't access some of the big games.
Overall, a beautiful unit and a great stay! Thanks so much!

Perfect size for our getaway, it had everything we need to enjoy our time here. Originally booked with the idea of bringing our dogs with us and host was very welcoming. Ended up just being my husband and I and we took advantage of the gorgeous weather, golf, and as much food as we could handle. Bed was comfortable and linens were soft. The extra bathroom is always nice when you are not traveling solo and kept us from battling over it! Communication with the host was easy, she’s very responsive.

The unit is very nice, was very clean and is very comfortable. In a great location... quiet & peaceful and just a beautiful area!
Plenty to do close by. Johanna was great, communication was excellent and she was very considerate in touching base with us regarding a pending hurricane. Would definitely stay here again and hope to return!

This property was amazing. Very short walking distance to the beach and short drive to pool area. Wildlife in the area was a nice bonus! We were on the tail end of Ian and worked with Johanna on getting out safely. She was terrific!
The condo was just as I thought it would be. Comfortable and just what we needed for a relaxing week away!
