Paignton 2023

I thought the decor of the property was very nice and modern. Beautiful kitchen, good use of kitchen utensils, could do with a masher only thing missing. The space of property was nice. The view from the top of the big hill outside the property was amazing.

There was no number on the plaque outside indicating 42a, so therefore we walked into the next door neighbours garden whilst looking for the property, which was quite embarrassing. Also there was no outside space to sit outside of the property, and no views outside of the windows whatsoever, only walls which was quite dreary. I think the cleaner could be more thorough, and the inventory could be more thorough as well, as we had a broken clothes horse which wouldn't stand up, and half of the toaster was not working. There was also an extension lead on the floor which is a trip hazard. There was no wardrobe in the smaller room so 2 of us lived out of a suitcase. The hill leading up to the property is very long and steep, so we wouldn't recommend this to people with mobility issues or breathing problems. Overall we feel that the property needs more attention to the finer details.

would definitely stay again, and recommend to others

Good range of kitchen appliances, utensils, and dining amenities, also a good range of apartment/house facilities, such as a good range of tv channels, plus Netflix, bbc iPlayer and other not too well known digital features. good range of bus connections (12 & 22 etc), plus not too far away, from either Paignton, or Torquay rail stations (GWR). neighbours very friendly, and smiled a lot, and seemed they or the owner, would be helpful, in the event of any difficulty

fairly difficult to get up the hill, if someone has mobility problems (Wasn’t our case, overall) - Not owners fault at all, (as we know housing, of any sort, isn’t cheap overall in the wider area, that the property, is situated in), plus the bed in room 1 (The one nearest entrance), was a bit on the hard side, but still slept quite well, also a bit difficult to locate the property, but the kind neighbour, to the right of the property, was incredibly helpful and kind.

Excellent home from home accommodation.

Spotless and clean, everything you need for a home from home stay. No need for heating place was always warm. Thank you.

To help preserve your beautiful property a door mat on entrance would help. I walk with crutches and I tripped up and down the steps outside as not all the lights came on. We were out by 7am and not home before 7am so rather dark. As we arrived after 8 on Sunday evening I walked straight into the black bin right behind the gate. None of these things would ever stope returning, we will be back. Beautiful Home.

The property was very cosy and had good facilities! It looked very nice and modern !

The front door was a little tricky to open from the inside and stuck a little bit

Small apartment close to Paignton

The apartment was clean and a great location for being near where our friends live, also a great location for shops and the beach. The kitchen was well equipped and the biscuits were a nice touch.

The second double room is small and a small double bed so not ideal for two couples who like space. Also the rooms could do with hanging and storage space, is only ideal for a weekend stay due to lack of storage. Also a small thing but egg cups would be a good addition to the well equipped kitchen.

because we spent our time there with family who live in Paignton it was ok just for sleeping

the beds were uncomfortable, even our young grandchildren aged 8 and 9 complained . the top of hob was dirty, so was inside of fridge and it was full of ice . the extension leads in bedroom and living room are not safe with young children, only 1 tea towel for a full week , I did not cook there so can not comment on the cleanliness of pots and pans Also it advertises free on street parking the problem with that is the residents park on the road so you could have a long walk from were you are able to park . the washing machine is down an ally around the back of the property in an out shed I didn't use the machine so I can't comment on if it works or not. I would not go back. to this property

Great apartment, comfortable, clean and well equipped.

Very comfy, very clean, warm , well equipped. Good size living space. Close to local shops, easy to reach beach. Quiet location.

On street parking not always available in front of property, but no problem to get a space further along the road.

Lovely, well-located accommodation

- Host was very helpful re local places to visit/places to eat - Very good location - less than 15 minutes walk from Paignton beach-front - Availability of free, off-street parking - Good bus links to Paignton, Torquay and Brixham - Good size kitchen, lounge and main bedroom - Kitchen was very modern with good range of crockery & utensils

Overall a good stay in a beautiful part of the UK.

The apartment was lovely and clean & well appointed, but would seriously benefit from having instructions on how to use things. ie TV and cooker etc. Also would be nice to put some info about the local area etc & ideas of restaurants near there..

Quite difficult location for anyone with any mobility issues, we were fine but very steep hill to walk up and down. Struggled with telephone signal. I did feel it was a bit expensive for 4 nights, but I suppose that is holidaying in the UK now, everyone trying to make up for last year.
