Nice place to stay good location sea views.I was quite concerned that the garden wasn't fully enclosed as advertised and my dog escaped, few minor things could be improved but overall was very good.

The toilet did not have a wash basin as shown in the property details
The shower room is very dated and needs towel rails and a hook on the door
A draining tray for the kitchen would be helpful
The main bedroom smelled of damp
The welcome pack was great
The new part of the bungalow is good

Beautiful accommodation and location. Ideal for families or a couples retreat. Within 5 minutes walk to the beach and local town centre. Secure enclosed garden and not overlooked, very private.
Will definitely be going back.

a beautiful property in excellent location close to all amenities but peacefully quiet. quality of decoration and furniture of accomodation very good quality.Pretty much everything you need is available.Fabulous friendly service from the management company. The only negative I can offer is that the two double bed mattresses are very hard. This was in particular a problem for my wife who has back problems.

Nice property in a great location with a short walk to the beach and Shanklin town centre. But sadly we were not happy about dogs mess in the garden and the wheelie bins overflowing when we arrived

Really enjoyed our stay, great location - down a very quiet road / track but only a 3 minute wander down to the esplanade. Especially liked being able to dine and drink al fresco in the evenings on the decking with a (partial) view of the sea.
All mod cons as you'd expect and as others have said the welcome hamper was very well received! Great cookies!
Beautifully terraced garden in front of the deck pleased the dog as well.
Overall 4.5 out of 5 rating from us. Only a couple of minor maintenance issues preventing a 5 star review - the guttering needs clearing out (waterfalls by the windows when it rains) a few slates on retaining wall are loose and the shower head bracket is broken - ok if everyone in the party is the same height.
Once these small issues are sorted though we'd thoroughly recommend this place.

This is definitely a beautiful place to stay, very clean, easy to find, large garden, close to the beach (5 min walk) and very spacious. Definitely needs a little bit of TLC as the garden is a little overgrown with weeds and there are a couple of maintenance issues that need to be fixed but all in all a wonderful place. The welcome hamper we received was a fantastic treat and very thoughtful. Would definitely recommend this property

Lovely property in a fantastic location
Lovely property in a fantastic location less than a minute away from the coastal path and a few minutes from the beach. Sea view from the decking area lovely while having our meals and drinks outside which gets the sun all day. Weather was great while we were there so we made the most of the bbq. Property is modern very clean and has everything you need. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise full of of lovely food and goodies. Nearby The Hideaway is a few minutes walk on the coastal path is a little gem and also Fins and Trade Winds are a nice walk along the prom for breakfast or lunch. 5-10 mins walk or short taxi ride to Shanklin town and Old Shanklin where there’s a selection of shops bars and restaurants.
The only niggles for us was the bathroom isn’t up to the same standard as the rest of the house but maybe it’s work in progress and an extra basin in second toilet would be useful. The garden was a bit unkempt and we found the duvets very warm for the summer weather. Otherwise it was perfect. We had a fabulous week and will definitely be returning again soon!

A week on the island
Property in an excellent position with sea views and over to the hills. All the amenities you need are on hand in the house and the welcome pack appreciated. The only reason it dropped a point on condition was that the shower was a bit old fashioned and not powerful enough and the garden had not been sorted, long grass and weed filled flower beds although someone turned up mid week to remove weeds and left in a pile by the decking. The island is very easy to get around with Shanklin as the starting point.Nice pubs and coffee shops all nearby with Tradewinds along the promenade going towards Sandown our favourite.
Lovely walks along the coast path with our 2 dogs who loved it.
We will visit again.

Long weekend with friends
We had a lovely stay, plenty of room. A bonus having a separate toilet. But the bathroom and toilet room need locks on the doors. Put them high up if you are worried children might lock themselves in. We had to stick a note on the doors when they were in use. Also the cloakroom and one bedroom wardrobe doors had come off the rails. Just a couple of things that need sorting, but it didn’t spoil our stay. Close to Shanklin too, only a short walk. We made use of the outdoor seating area, as we were lucky with the weather, lovely views of the sea, and boats sailing by.

Close to all amenities
We arrived at 16.35 to find the place still being cleaned so had to wait for the floors to dry. The cleaner seemed to have left in a hurry as bedroom cabinets were still pulled out & the oven hadn't been Also, our hamper arrived after I sent an email. Despite this, everything else was ok & clean. It is a great place to suit a group of 6 adults who want to have a base & explore the island both on foot or by car. Friendly neighbours and locals.

An amazing place to stay!
Wow, this was our first family holiday in a long time and everything was perfect! The house was amazing, clean, organised and had everything you needed. The location was perfect, a short walk to the beach and lots to do. The house was perfect for our dog too, he enjoyed the run round the private gardens. We had a lovely hamper of food and goodies left which was a lovely touch too. We could not have wished for better with this house, and we will definitely be returning for our holiday again next year. Thanks so much x

Brilliant stay
We had a fabulous week at the cottage. The location is its best asset . The beach so accessible. The house was well equipped and spacious , the gardens lovely. Outside sitting on veranda was wonderful as it gets sun most of the day. We highly recommend it
