Erholsamer Aufenthalt in einer sehr schönen Wohnung und Umgebung

Sehr modern ausgestattete und saubere Ferienwohnung. Der Vermieter war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Supermärkte und Restaurants in direkter Umgebung.

Place felt like home.

Very spacious apartment with a lovely patio. Everything was clean, you could cook, huge bathroom. Excellent location near the sea, and bus stops to take you anywhere you want. Host was very kind to leave recommendations which we followed and weren't disappointed, especially the restaurants. People all around were very welcoming, prices cheap for the value. Really recommend!

Schöner Ausgangspunkt für eine tolle Wanderung

Schöne Wohnung mit Terrasse, sehr gute Lage. Restaurant, Supermarkt und Bushaltestelle in direkter Nähe. Nahe am Meer. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Mansarda funzionale a due passi dal mare

Posizione vicino al porto e accanto alla chiesa con il lungo mare a due passi così come ristoranti, panificio, un piccolo supermarket. La pulizia della casa era perfetta e dotata di tutti i comfort, spaziosa e funzionale anche se si tratta di una mansarda. Il divano letto comodo e anche il letto. Il check in automatico facile e veloce.

Difficoltà nel trovare parcheggio, assenza di zanzariere e aria condizionata o ventilatore che in estate, essendo una mansarda, sono essenziali. Le finestre erano piccole quindi l'aria fatica ad entrare. Qualche formica nel frigorifero ma niente di problematico.

Fabulous!

This is a fabulous property in an excellent location. We travelled all over the island, visiting lots of different resorts, and didn't find anywhere we'd rather have stayed than Caniçal. It's in an excellent location with magnificent scenery all around, well connected, and with a great range of bars and restaurants. There's a sandy beach nearby, and the town is only 15 minutes' drive from the airport. Wonderful!

An extra bedside lamp would have been helpful as there was only one provided.

Great apartment very clean and the decor was so beautifully done. It has everything you need for a good stay. Loved that they left some coffee pods to use on the machine such a lovely touch. Would 1000% stay here again

A nice flat in a quiet area

A nice tiny flat in a quiet city. Conveniently located near a swimming spot, bakery and local fruit store by walking distance.

Not enough daily usefull stuff for 5 nights (washing machine, kitchen tissue,...)

Cockroaches

Bezutiful apartment with nice terrace

We stayed 3 nights and had to kill 4 cockroaches in the bathroom. When I told the host about a possible infestation het said that roaches are normal in madeira...

All good, very nice apartment

Very beautiful and clean apartment. It is so well equipped that you could move in straight away. It has simply everything you can think of. The size for 2 people just perfect, really big bathroom with a huge shower (they even have their own toiletries labels, so sweet). You have a little backyard with seating. Nice for breakfasts. The bedroom faces the backyard, so it is nicely quiet. Parking possible anywhere on the street. A tiny local supermarket just across the street, 3 secs :) Close to restaurants, beach.

I wish I could give 10*. But need to deduct one for zero view and another one for a very, very creaky bed (and I was there with my mum! :D). Also pillows too hard.

Very good

Very clean, Smart TV, well stocked kitchen. Central location, good communication with hosts, washing machine, iron. Nice lighting.

The whole building is 5 separate apartments but the listing shows photos for all 5 together. So when booking you should clarify which apartment is which as just because you see a balcony in the photos doesn't mean that the apartment you get will have one.

Nice apartment in very good location for access to peninsula walks and buses to lavada walks.

Bedroom was dark at night. Quiet generally. All clean and modern.

No air conditioning so a bit warm at night.

Lovely modern apartment in a quiet location.

Everything was great, apartment was very modern and clean. Well equipped, there was even a washing machine and a grill that you can use in the terrace. Parking is only available on street, but we found a spot right outside the door every evening. There is a small grocery store right across the street. Before booking I was worried about the light inside, because the apartment looks a bit dark in pictures, but that's completely not a problem. Apartament is decorated so well that it's dark but very cosy. The district was quiet and we had a good rest there. Nearby there was our most liked beach - Prainha do Caniçal. Sandy, less people than anywhere else (in October), only 5-7mins by car from the apartment.

This is more on the funny side, but there were no coffee mugs, only double-espresso cups. But I bought mugs in a small shop right across the street in case you want to have a big cup of coffee :)

Fabulous apartment, brilliantly located.

We loved the location and it was peaceful despite being quite close to the airport. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evening and having grocery and bakery shops across the road. Everything was immaculate and stylish with a great shower.

A small niggle but we would have a liked a couple of bigger mugs for tea/coffee drinks. The glass ones provided were very small & difficult to hold.

Comfortable and easy

Easy check in and comfortable stay at the White Whale house. The flat had everything we needed and it was very clean. Washing machine had a 15 minute cycle which was very useful. Lots of windows give it a bright and airy feel. The patio outside is also a nice benefit.

The flat is located across the street from a fruit stand which is convenient but a bit noisy at times due to trucks delivering at early hours. Also the road noise is loud at times.

Nice short-stay

Very nicely renovated and clean appartment. Cosy terrace and the appartment was generally well equipped.

No parking space closeby so we had to park at the shore. The bed was quite small for two persons.

Good value for money in a city close to the airport

- Nice, spacious and very clean apartment for two - House is completely refurbished with a modern interior - All necessary equipment for self service available - Although the house is located in a city, we didn't hear any street noise neither in the house nor at the little patio behind the house

House is located in a quite busy street and sometimes it was difficult to find a parking space for the car.
