We stayed here for a long weekend for a concert and it was perfect! The property was very clean and well stocked. Like seriously, they provided so much stuff even little snacks that was super helpful for us all coming and going everyday for different events in the city. The neighborhood was nice and seemed safe. The communication between me and the owner was great. He was very friendly and helpful. I have 0 complaints about this property listing and will definitely use it again when coming back to Chicago.

We had such a great time while in Chicago and while staying in this home! It was very clean, beautiful neighborhood, and a walk away from everything we needed and expected. The owner was so kind and easy to communicate with during our stay with any questions we might have had. Thank you so much for a memorable weekend for my family!

Very good location. Clean and peaceful neighbourhood, Close to the Pink Line and so many amenities. The place was exceptionally clean and tidy, well supplied with linens and household products. The kitchen was well equipped you can cook your own meals. Perfect for families. Our host John was very kind and helpful, He promptly answered my messages . Because this is an apartment on the first floor, one can hear footsteps and objects being dragged across their floor from upstairs.. There were days I heard nothing depending on how kind and considerate the upstairs occupants are I would stay here again on my next Chicago trip.

The apartment was well-appointed, nicely decorated, bright, and clean, and the pictures did not disappoint. The check-in process involved a lock box that did not easily open and a key that we had constant trouble in opening the front door. The location is in a quiet neighborhood with a short walk to coffee and restaurants (Little Italy). The apartment is situated between one above and one below and we good easily hear the tenants walk, talk and move about which became a bit of nuisance every morning at 6:30am and again at night at 11:30pm. Anyway, other than those inconveniences, the place was nice and as advertised.

The propertg was reasonably located within 15 minute ride of everything. Enjoyed the area very much. Sits on the college campus and walking distance to bars/restauraunts/ grocery stores. The apartment was well stocked with snacks/coffees/condiments as well as the small necessities. Quiet neighborhood and a good sized apartment. Enjoyed it and would stay again.

John’s spot was great. It fit our family perfectly and was well stocked with the things we needed for an easy stay. The location is great because it isn’t right in the heart of downtown but it’s pretty easy to access Chicago’s center when you need to since the L train is a short walk from the house. We very much enjoyed our stay and I would definitely book the space again if a trip calls for it again.

We had a great stay here over spring break! Cute neighborhood with a parking spot behind and a parking permit was provided for our other car! The perfect place to stay when visiting the city :-)

We were a group of 6 (3 couples) and this was the perfect accommodation for us! For starters, the owner is so nice and communicative, he even let us check in early and check out late! The apartment is so cozy and clean and super well stocked! He had an abundance of towels, toiletries, extra bedding and a ton of snacks and coffee in the kitchen. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. It was also in a super cute and safe residential neighborhood walking distance from Taylor street (with tons of bars and restaurants) and about a 7-10 minute uber from everything! Overall we highly recommend this property and will absolutely be staying here again if we are back in Chicago

We stayed here for a concert at City Winery. Was located in a great area. We walked to dinner and dancing the first night. Next day walked to the blue line and went downtown for some sightseeing. Everything we needed was within a walk… great place!!!

Spent the weekend with friends here for a little reunion and had a wonderful time. The location made it easy to walk to restaurants. The brownstone had everything we needed and was very comfortable for our party of four. Very clean, lots of books/interesting artwork, and looked exactly how the posting was listed. Communication was great, too!

The apartment was easy to find and just off Hwy290. Easy access to downtown and the united center. Fully stocked with everything you could need for a nice getaway. We would highly recommend and definitely use again.

Host was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The property is quite beautiful and well furnished. The keys were a bit finnicky, but that's my only complaint. Relatively close to both the Blue and Pink Lines and neighborhood felt safe.

We stayed here while visiting UIC and it's a nice 10-15 minute walk from campus. Also easy walk to Taylor Street and Pilsen and Greektown. Apartment was great -- bigger than we needed, great kitchen and full supply of dishes, pots, pans, etc. Very quiet. Only issue was internet went out at one point, but John sent another option pretty quickly.

We stayed there for one week (three adults). Everything is already said in the previous reviews. Very clean place. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Easy to go downtown by train (20 min.) and easy parking behind the building. Very friendly and helpful host. Thanks, John!

This property was everything we could’ve expected for our extended weekend getaway. The location was fantastic - within walking distance to several cafes, restaurants and local bars. It was also close to the pink line which provided easy access to public transportation. The property was easy to access and neighbors were friendly and respectful. This property was thoughtfully set up and stocked which our group greatly appreciated! We would stay again and recommend to others.

We were very happy with our stay here! This property provided us with a comfortable, cozy, clean, and convenient place to enjoy our time exploring Chicago. It's such a beautiful spot and in the middle of so many things to do. Many food options and things to explore within walking distance! If something is not, it is also a very short walk from a train station! With the apartment itself exceeding our expectations, the host John did as well. The commutation with John was great. He was very accommodating to all of our needs. All of his recommendations were spot on (food, activities, ect)! This added to our great time! We will definitely stay here if we are in town again. 10 out of 10!

We had a great 2 night stay in the Villa. Check in was easy and we were glad to see it looked just like the pictures. We had 5 adults and one toddler in our group. We did not cook, but we did eat in the apartment and there were plenty of plates utensils, and everything else you might need. The jars of snacks and candies were a nice bonus and our little nephew was in heaven. The bathrooms were well-stocked with extra supplies. We were glad to have dedicated parking that could accommodate our minivan in the back. Definitely close quarters inside, which is what I expect from staying in the city. There was a park with a nice playground just down the street. We ran into John once and he was friendly and helpful.

We stayed for the weekend of Riot Fest. This place is adorable, clean,very well stocked on necessities, in a great neighborhood, super close the the pink line, and John was an awesome host. I cannot say enough great things about this place. If we do Riot Fest next year I will definitely try to book this place again!

Everything was great! The host was responsive and there were many thoughtful amenities in the unit. While the VRBO “OneKey” sign in process to the website or app is a complete failure, the owner of the unit made sure we had everything we needed to get properly checked in and were comfortable.

The apartment is quite small, but makes use of the space it has well. It is well located in a quiet & walkable neighborhood. Be aware that, while the queen beds in bedrooms 2 & 3 are pretty firm, the king sized bed in bedroom 1 is extremely soft, providing very little support. This is a matter of preference, so, while it wasn't comfortable for me, if you like super-soft mattresses, you will like it quite a lot. Otherwise, the place had all we needed for pur stay.
