This third floor apartment in Little Italy is fantastic. We were a group of 8 and felt very comfortable in the apartment. It's absolutely clean and tidy, in an adorable neighborhood. Loved the whole thing!

The property is a fully equipped home, has everything you need and makes life simple while you are there. The owner is also right next door and very responsive, friendly and helpful. Taylor street is a very short walk away, the pink line is a short walk away, great location, very quiet.

My family loved John’s 3rd floor apartment! It was perfect for relaxing after busy days, and conveniently located near restaurants, a metro stop, and a playground (for our kids). We had super easy check-in, and easy, complimentary parking for our van behind the building, we enjoyed strolling the neighborhood streets and experiencing Chicago more like a local than a tourist.
It’s a third floor apartment, so there are stairs. But we had no trouble navigating them, and enjoyed the views the third floor afforded.
We enjoyed our stay so much, we are already discussing plans to come back to Chicago with friends and stay in this same apartment again!

We had a great stay @ the villa. It met all our needs & was a quick walk to the Pink line train. We appreciated the parking for our rental car. Very clean & as listed. The snack jars were an added bonus!

Great location, comfortable stay.

Place was clean with enough space for four couples. Two bathrooms were nice with clean linens and closet filled with items you may need. Kitchen had plenty of nice dishes and cooking items. Tons of spices, oil, coffee, candy, cleaning supplies, etc. Beds were very comfortable. Wonderful stay and would highly recommend. Location was wonderful and close to downtown that you didn't spend all our time traveling in car or train.

John was an amazing host for our time in Little Italy to celebrate my partner’s birthday. Seven friends and family had plenty of space to relax in an open living room/kitchen space and beautifully appointed bedrooms. There was everything you needed for coffee, and lots of snacks (even granola bars and ramen noodles! I had a question about parking upon arrival, and John responded within five minutes in person! He chatted with us about the area, its history, and things to do. We will definitely be back again to stay!

We came for a conference that was downtown. We wanted to stay in a more residential neighborhood. Place was beautiful and had everything we needed. Lots of amenities in snacks, toiletries, and just the little things you don't think of. So close to Taylor street in Little Italy which had a lot of restaurants, bars and coffee shops. So quaint, quiet and beautiful to walk around. Loved every minute of it!

We enjoyed our 5 day stay in Little Italy while traveling for a business trip. Everything was so clean and well stocked and there are so many thoughtful touches like razors and Q-tips, snacks and coffee. We loved that there were robes and an abundance of extra towels and wash cloths. We also enjoyed all the cool art in the space!
Great experience!!

This place is charming! The flat is lovely and very comfortable. We enjoyed the neighborhood, the park next door, the restaurants one street over, close to grocery store and a few minute walk to jump on the train. We would love to return in the future!

Completely remodeled, clean and well stocked unit. Owner supplied ample amounts of toilet paper, tissues, towels, washcloths and linens. Dinnerware, utensils and glasses were sufficient. Location was excellent with walking distance to restaurants and markets. Host responded quickly to any questions.

We had family coming from 3 different states for my daughter's graduation from UIC. The apartment was perfect for us! We could walk to the ceremony and great restaurants through the beautiful tree-lined streets. The interior is beautifully decorated with interesting and thoughtful artwork and touches. Kitchen had everything we could need. Bathrooms are stocked well. The entire place was comfortable, clean and perfect! When we are in Chicago again, we would definitely stay in this wonderful place again! Thank you!

The 4 room apartment in Little Italy is well-positioned to get anywhere in the city quickly. The place has more attention to detail than usual, from the decor to the snacks. It was clean and felt very comfortable for our team of 7. We were in town for a coffee expo.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Graystone!! The space is clean, well kept, fully stocked, and accessible to anything that we needed. The beds are extremely comfortable. The keys in the doors were an great touch. Yes the stairs are tough but overall, we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Some friends from college stayed here and we loved it. It is cozy and stocked like a boutique hotel. The rooms are small but the beds are very comfy. We could very easily get to many different neighborhoods in Chicago.

This is not the first time we have stayed at this owners property. By far by favorite and best place to stay while in Chicago.
House has everything you could possibly need, and the owner is super nice and quick to respond if you have questions.
You wont be disappointed.

Quaint apartment in safe neighbourhood within close walking to restaurants, groceries and coffee shops. Walking distance to train. Fully stocked with kitchen utensils etc for making your own meals. Rooms were smaller than expected although lots of linen. Very steep stairs to carry bags up and down so would need to be very mobile. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay here!

What a great space in a great location. The first thing that strikes you in the chracteristic of the porperty and how well thought out the decorations and amenities are. The neighborhood is very quiet, safe and very close to great restaurants. The feeling of relaxation and hominess struck us immediately, and while visiting the city, family and friends, we knew we had a place to go back to that wasn't a load hotel but a place that we could feel right at home in with very convenient off-property parking. I would highly recommend!

Perfect stay! Nice and clean in every room, enjoyed coffee, tea, and all the snacks! Location is great, lots of dining options within walking distance, and kitchen is well prepared for cooking. Definitely will stay for next Chicago trip!

We had a family gathering weekend of all women, from 27 to 81. There were 8 of us who gathered, not all stayed overnight as they lived either in town or Indiana. We all LOVED this apartment, it was a great place to meet and go out in the city or to gather and catch up. We were able to walk to dinner one night on Taylor Street and could have walked another night, but drove because of the rain. (There are so many good ones to choose from). The beds are so cozy and comfortable, the decorations are beautiful and the snacks and candy were so appreciated! The robes are a lovely touch as well. We hung out in the living room one night, had snacks, did puzzles, chatted and caught up with one another. The home is beautiful, we were on the 4th floor and had a pretty view. The area is quiet, but just a few blocks from a beautiful park and a few blocks from lots of great restaurants. I highly recommend John’s apartment.

If you’re looking for a place to stay that has all the comforts of home, is large enough for a family or group of friends, and is centrally located to everything in Chicago, then you need to book John’s place!
It was the perfect home base for our family on our work vacation. Check in was easy and seamless, the property was exactly as listed, everything was spotless and ready for us when we arrived, and although we never ran into any issues, let alone any that required assistance from John, I have no doubt that he would have responded and provided assistance right away.
No matter if you’re coming to Chicago for a family vacation, friends trip, or a convention/trade show, John’s place is the perfect home base that has everything you could possibly need!

We stayed here for our son’s wedding and enjoyed Chicago so much. The flat is charming and yet, totally functional and updated. A simple walk up to Taylor Street for breakfast or an Italian deli visit. Communication with John was excellent and easy, incredibly so. Ample towels, paper products and even jars of snacks. Highly recommend if a trip to Chicago is in your future!

We stayed here for a girls weekend and it was the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed in. Comfortable beds, lots of linens, well stocked kitchen and very clean. Plus it was great to be able to walk to the close restaurants and a short Uber ride to the city center.

What a cool spot! The location was walking distance to Taylor Street, full of amenities, it was quiet, plus the showers had better water pressure than any nearby hotel. I hope we get the chance to stay here again
