The stay was wonderful, very spacious with 2 bathrooms. We were in town for our son’s graduation so the extra room to shower and get ready was nice. The only hiccup we had is the morning of checkout the kitchen sink backed up and there was nobody on duty in the lobby to report it to.

Very clean and comfortable urban suite! Great view of city scape and very close to Independence Hall and grocery stores. Turn table in unit seems to have a damaged needle. Would have loved to listen to the vinyl records available. Expected to grill but the grill on the roof deck was disabled for guest use. That was a bit of a let down.Regardless, will return to property as it provided all of the conveniences of home, but in a cool, urban setting. Will recommend to others!

Truly enjoyed our stay here in this apartment. Neighborhood was safe and loved the renovated industrial vibe. The rooftop was also amazing and I spent a lot of time working from the upstairs lounge. You can’t go wrong with staying at this property.

This was a great stay! The walls are thin but it wasn’t too disruptive. We loved the roof top. The view was incredibly and it offered plenty of comfortable seating. I actually didn’t dread coming back to this property at the end of the day, unlike with other Philadelphia stays. I think we’ll be back!

This property and property manager was a disappointing disaster. Even before checkin, we were leery about providing our ID scan, selfie, and birthdate to a 3rd party outside VRBO. At check in, we realized one of the three beds was broken beyond repair. We were told someone would come by to "look" within 12 hours, although it would be a "priority." With no outreach within an hour, and darkness setting in, we had to go find other accommodations. The property management conglomerate refused to issue a refund. Add that to a dirty bed with bugs, an unsafe neighborhood, and a building nowhere near as upscale as pictures would lead you to believe. This place is cheap but not as advertised, and the company simply doesn’t care.

Overall we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this property, especially if you would typically consider a hotel. This is a great value and we will certainly consider Sonder properties in the future, as the additional common spaces and kitchen provide a lot more flexibility than a traditional hotel but for around the same cost. The location was convenient to highways and attractions, but it's not the safest area (I wouldn't recommend going outside alone at night). It's relatively quiet but they do provide earplugs if needed. Garbage pickup was around 3am on Monday morning and was incredibly loud, and the HVAC in our unit was also loud when it would kick on, waking me out of a sound sleep. The only other complaint was the bed in one of the rooms was incredibly hard, almost like lying on a plank of wood. I prefer a firm mattress, but this was extreme. Even with the above, I would recommend this property to anyone staying in Philly, mostly for the price and for the convenience of an apartment.

The apartment was stunning. It had everything we needed for our stay and the convenience of where it is located is awesome. There are many shops and restaurants close by as well as grocery stores. We will definitely be staying again.

Rooftop is amazing! A bit chilly this time of year but has nice indoor space. Room was exactly as apecified. Was worried at first when I saw the ear plugs but they were not necessary! Overall security was great - neighborhood seems ok.

There were a few issues that property management solved quickly and were very responsive to for what was in their control. There were some other guests that disturbed sleep, but that was not something that the property could deal with. The staff that I interacted with were fantastic and very helpful with neighborhood suggestions and quick responses to needs. The space was beautiful and spacious.

Wonderful apartment, perfect for two friends. Very clean. Unique and cool space. Delicious coffee. Amazing roof top. Comfortable beds and pillows. Loved the shower. The record player was a nice touch. We were excited to use it but ours was broken. I was impressed with how fast Myra came by to fix it. She was so nice and helpful! I gave “check in” only 3 stars because there is some discrepancy between the room you see on the VRBO app vs the Sonder app. Ours was two different units. The check in requires more steps than other VRBOs because you are going through the Sonder company. So you have to download their app and do your check in and communication through there. This caused some confusion for us because we realized we were getting a different room than what we saw on our Vrbo confirmation. So be aware that you are most likely booking a “type” of room (I.e. a 2 bdr 2 bath) and not the exact room you see on VRBO. I would like to see this more clearly explained on the VRBO site. However, we did want to say that after we were all checked in and in our room, everything was perfect. Worth the extra steps. And their employees on site (shout out to Myra) are awesome. This particular location, btw, is perfect if you want to be close to the city center. Parking is all metered in this area, so you may want to taxi or walk places.

Once I made my reservation, it was difficult to adjust for an earlier arrival in the week. I was bounced between VRBO and the property manager several times and email was not effective, I had to call twice to speak with someone. Property is awesome.

This is a great place to stay 10-20 minute walk from all things downtown Philly. We really enjoyed being close to Chinatown. Our only complaints were loud neighbors and the living room could use some comfy chairs and pillows for down time. Otherwise really enjoyed it!

I love this Two bedroom apartment , only one complaint is not parking in this building has to park the street! Someone hit me left back bumper when I left Philadelphia, I parked my car on the street two blocks away from my living place . When I picked up my car I found the back bumper was hit and I didn’t have camera to record who did it, so disappointed this central Philadelphia…hopefully get better in the future!

I recently had the pleasure of staying as this property and I must say, it was an amazing experience. The view from my room was great and the amenities that was included such as the rooftop with a great view where the gym is also located. It was also very walkable to nearby shops and activities in the city. The only issue I faced during my stay was finding parking near the property. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

I needed to come to the area for a work site visit. Perfect place to stay if you need to “work from home”. Coffee maker made my life so much easier. I was able to make breakfast and lunch and then continue with my work. I would definitely stay again.

It was an awesome place for the price! Parking was very convenient and only a block away- paid about $50 for 48 hours. Could hear a lot of the activity outside the building when it was time for bed but the ear plugs that were in the room saved us! Overall, would definitely recommend and do it again!

Headed back to Philly to pick up kid #1 from college and we decided to make it a long Mother's Day Weekend. The space was very clean, well equipped, comfortable, and in a convenient location to Center City and public transportation.

It was my husband MIL and 4 year old daughter staying for the weekend stay. We did a lot of sight seeing. Location was great for us. We did the go city pass so most of the places were within 10 mins of the hied. It was clean place mother in law loved it how it had everything. Only thing she didn’t like was the window in the top of one of the bedrooms. There’s one tv in the living room and watching it at night that room would light up. Other than that place was fantastic. We loved it. Definitely coming back again.

The apartment was clean, quiet, and well-equipped. Checking in instructions were clear; however, I had to upload photos of ID and go through face recognition to complete the reservation, which has never happened before with VRBO bookings. I guess it is meant to be a safety measure, but it might be easier to just check in a hotel in the future... The neighborhood looked very apocalyptic, full of old industrial buildings, with many converted to garages. Trader Joe's and Chinatown is just on the other side of the high way, but you would have to pass by many homeless people sleeping outside the Convention Center. I did not feel safe enough to go out alone after dark. I wish the parking instructions would include some specific addresses and rates of the nearby garages, rather than referring guests to a third party app. After driving around the block, we finally parked at a garage in a neighboring block for $29 a night. The current construction next to the garage made it a little hard to access, especially with suitcases, but it was relatively close. But if you need parking, you would need to add $30 to the nightly rate of Sonder apartments.
