This property was perfect for the three of us. It’s location was at the foot of the mountain and close to everywhere we needed to be. Its comfort was mainly due to its cleanliness, nice decorations and quiet neighborhood. We had a great, efficient host. Thanks Jake!

This is the place to stay when you visit Albuquerque! Perfect location and view. Also, the place was super clean, and had everything you could think of to make this a home away from home. Jake always responded when questions came up. Enjoyed our family vacation here and will return.

Everything was in the kitchen you could need.very nice kitchen! It was a place you would be happy to stay for awhile. Hiking in Sandias was close. I highly recommend the Embudito. The pictures and write up were absolutely accurate. The provided coffee was New Mexico’s own and lovely that it was there for us. A special trip and a special place.
The pullout bed in living room required a little muscle to pull out and push in but was worth it, pleasantly surprised at the comfort.

Great property! It was just the perfect size. I loved the fact that it had a full kitchen table and a sofa to sit on. So often smaller rentals don't have comfortable places to sit and relax. I will look for this place again for sure!

This was a clean and easy to access property. We came to Abq to see family and the proximity to our family was definitely a plus.
We would consider staying again.

The property was very nice; clean, easy to find and well stocked with the essentials. The location was close to shopping, groceries, restaurants, hiking and had a lovely view of the mountains.
This would be the perfect place for a romantic getaway and if you like gambling, there is a nice, large casino less than 10 miles away.
I will definitely being staying here on my next visit and have already began planning activities for my stay!!
Thanks Jake!!

This is a recently completely remodeled property. The drawers and even the cabinets are slow close in the kitchen. It's a quiet neighborhood and was only a mile from my daughter's house. I had a question about the evaporative cooler and the property owner returned my call as soon as he got my message. And did so while he was on vacation. It's a single bedroom, single bath property which I believe would be crowded with four adults but the owner has larger properties available.

We enjoyed our stay. Record high temps in Albuquerque while we were there - could have used a tutorial on the 'swamp cooler' included in the supplied property information. The location was great - enjoyed the apartment. We will consider staying here again if we come back to ABQ.

This is an excellent location and the condo is spotless and well maintained. Accurately described in every way.
We experienced a couple of very minor issues during our stay and Jake's response was somewhat close to the speed of lightening. And IMHO that attention to guests certainly deserves a sixth star.

Nice and quiet apartment and area, clean and felt safe! I stayed for about 2 weeks off and on while I attended classes in the area and it was a nice getaway at the end of each day. Restaurants nearby were great too! Jake was super responsive to a minor issue, too. Will definitely look at staying here if my schedule brings me into town again!

We had a wonderful experience from check in to check out. The property and location were great. The owner was immediately responsive to a minor problem at the beginning of our stay. Could not have been any nicer or more accomodating! We will be returning!

Our first trip to New Mexico and we read thru all the reviews about this listing and Jakes Vacation Rental. We were visiting family in TX and stayed at the Hyatt. This place is better! It was clean and welcoming. Kitchen with amenities (microwave, dishwasher, stove, dishes, ketchup etc....-i know! it's so much) with a nice sit down area. Bedroom with Queen Bed. Full size bathroom (they had soap/shampoo/conditioner) and Washing Machine (detergent too) and Dryer. Living room to sit and relax. Great place to spread out, close to hiking trails. Convenient location with free easy parking. Safe neighborhood and lots of people walking dogs. Great communication with the owner. Highly recommend this place and plan on using them in the future. I've already recommended to several retiree friends. It makes a difference having a place you can feel safe and relax comfortably.

I was traveling several days for business. It was so nice that I could cook and keep my own food and not live on fast food. And, I had a comfortable place to work. The apartment was super clean and I felt very safe. Will stay again when I return for work!

Great property and location. Owner showed up the morning after we reported a problem with the ceiling fan and fixed it in minutes. Lived in Albuquerque over 30 years so know the city well. Will definitely return.

Visiting friends
This location was very comfortable and welcoming. The neighborhood was quiet and the house has easy access to Albuquerque’s main thoroughfares. The space seems very spacious inside and has all the basics you will need. Communication with the host was perfect. Would stay here again.

Nice, quiet and clean
Check in was as easy as it gets to this nice, quiet and clean rental. The apartment is in a 4plex, and I suppose the others are rentals by the same owner. No matter, everyone was quiet and respectful...and I was there for 8 days, so I got a good feel for the place. It was so great to have a washer and dryer available INSIDE! The leather couch was nice to relax on. Bed was firm and comfy and the kitchen was well appointed with just about anything I could need while traveling. I highly recommend this place if you are coming to Albuquerque. It's not close to downtown if that's what you're looking for, but as long as the freeways are clear, it won't take you long to get to where you want to go. I would totally stay here again. Cheers to Jake, you got a great thing going on here!

I has used VRBO for years and Jake is without a doubt the best I have dealt with. The place was very clean the bed and hide-a-bed were the most comfortable I have slept on. We had everything we needed in the kitchen which is unusual. Plenty of spare linen, towels and wash cloths. I highly recommend stay there if your in Albuquerque and will definitely stay again when coming. Only suggestion I would make is possibly a couple of folding chair to set in to view the mountains and written instructions on the heating and cooling.
