Friendly & welcoming staff, easy access, cleanliness, sustainability, terrific food availability at cafe/restaurant, wonderful fair-priced bar, fabulous tunes.
All good!
However if I was there during school hols period, bathroom/shower facilities would need increasing.

The tent was immaculate, the view was stunning, the shower rooms were clean and had shampoo and conditioner supplied. The location was ideal, just a short walk into Kingsand and a short drive to Whitsand Bay. We'll definitely be coming back.
The only point for improvement would be the fridge space which wasn't really big enough for the number of us staying and it smelt a bit funny.

Spacious, very clean and a surprisingly comfortable bed!
Location couldn’t have been more perfect and loved having a firepit for use in the evening!
The floors in the bathrooms got extremely wet and mucky. Could do with some kind of absorbent mat rather than a plastic rack. Also no extractor.

Fantastic
Need just to add a mirror in each tent

Amazing location overlooking the bay. The tent was spacious, with comfortable beds and charging port; withstood the harsh weather on one bad night. The shower block was excellent, showers were good, shower products available, and rigorously kept clean by the team. Excellent cafe on site which did great coffee and breakfast. Also sold wood for fire. Only 10 min walk into beautiful Cassandra village.

We bought breakfast one morning we loved and coffee as well as local beers often, amazing coffee!!
Super friendly staff and owner that made us feel super welcome! Everyone were so nice and what a surrounding to make memories with the family!!!
We were here on a 4 stay trip and this was the only tent location- meaning we didnt have much with us, this was not a problem and we could lend or tent everything! Huge difference and what a different and beautiful stay for us!
The bed could have been comfier.. however, how high can your expectations be for a tent!?

I loved how clean everything was, everything is also quite close from the tents so getting to the bathrooms and cafe wasn’t that much of an effort, lovely people and if you didn’t want to buy any wood you could take a walk into the woods and collect some yourself which is what we did. They had a room which offered a kettle, microwave and 3 fridges which we did not know and will deffo be more prepared for on our next stay! Loved it!
It was just a few little issues I had with the bathrooms, there wasn’t much ventilation so getting a shower was just a bit of a task as i just got so hot and bothered from it being so hot and not air ventilated that well. Also the bags of wood which cost us 8.50 only lasted a night so make sure you get more if you can afford or go and collect some if you’re planning on having a long lasting fire.

Best facilities I have experienced at a campsite and a stunning location. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was no trouble to make an exception to check in time, as we travelled a long way. Good food and fantastic coffee in the cafe.

The food was absolutely fantastic in The Canteen and The guard house , excellent quality ingredients, everything was homemade and cooked beautifully.
The pallet base under the mattress was wider which made it awkward to get out of bed and pillows fell off the back of the mattress as there was nothing to stop them.

Gorgeous views, peaceful, very clean and not just basics for comfort. A lot of thought about comfortably, each set up is a good distance apart for privacy without feeling isolated.
well thought out amenities, fridges for cold storage etc.
would have liked a few more things to purchase milk etc.

We loved staying in a luxury belle tent which came with a comfy double bed , fresh towels and a fire put to cook on. The views over the sea were beautiful to wake up to every morning. The wash facilities were lovely and clean, nicely decorated with shower gel and shampoo supplied.

Amazing location , clean tents , great view
where can I start ? I read the reviews before we booked and I choose to ignore the ones about noise boy was I wrong !
The sea forts tents are actually beautiful but behind is a camp site which allows large group of people .
On night one horrendous music and talking until very late , screaming and shouting which kept my children awake. We informed Sandy who was sympathetic and kind but didn't seem to be able to do anything about it .In this instance we were offered no help just sympathy.
Night 2 was quieter but still s loud.
Come the weekend and the noise was so horrendous even ear plugs could not drown it out. Again Sandy was sympathetic but couldn't do much we were offered a free breakfast. Which was nice but not really enough for the discomfort we were suffering.
By this time I would have expected to be offered a partial refund or a move in tents . We were suppose to be in a "quiet" area.
The next few nights pretty horrendous. Music , loud drunks and horrendous screaming. We actually started staying out later and later to avoid the camp. Luckily the weather was good so we could hang round the beach to avoid going back . One night staying out till 10pm to avoid the camp .
There was also events hosted in one of the Sea Forts which was actually just 3 hours of loud music . This was meant to end at 10pm but didn't always end on time.
Again there is a member of staff around at night we rang her twice for help but no answer went to voicemail.
We paid almost a £1000 pounds for this camping holiday and we dreaded every minute we spent at sea forts. We can't afford many holidays and this one was awful in every sense .
I think in this instance we should have been offered a full refund not a free breakfast.
If you want peace and quiet this is not the place for you . Please don't go here thinking you will get a nice quiet holiday, only go here if you enjoy noise on every level !

Beautiful place with an absolutely superb view! Facilities were so very nice, both the tents and the surroundings. And bathroom facilities nice and clean.
Lovely scenery and walk down to the village.
I would rate it 10 if it wasn’t for a slightly chaotic arrival and mixed up bookings. It got sorted, but arrived around dinner time with three children and that they needed to rearrange people and clean was not ideal.
The Thai food was probably the worst meal I have ever tasted. But in retrospect it counts for a funny memory ;)
