Group stay at Cloudzen

Lovely large comfortable rooms at a great price. Claire is a great host, really helpful and easy to deal with. Shared bathrooms... not large clean and not a problem at at.

Perfect place for a stay in Margate

Amazingly decorated and modern fitted place in a great location close to the beach. Comfy and clean room. Breakfast, tea and coffee included. We only stayed for 1 night but would come back.

A perfect place with a lovely atmosphere

The place was just a few minutes' walk from the statin. It had a lovely warm atmosphere. Everything was well-organised and very tidy, and the staff friendly and helpful.

Great stay in Margate for family trip

Very nice decorations large common living room and kitchen room. The bedroom is large and nice, high ceiling with large windows. Nice decoration within the bedroom, comfortable beds and clean room. Bathroom is great and easy to use. Good water flow and clean. The host is very friendly and responsive. Good location, easy to get to the beach.

Exceptional

We had an exceptional experience during our stay at CloudZen. The residence itself is impressively spacious, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. Our room provided ample space and boasted a delightful view. Amy, our host, was wonderfully accommodating and greeted us with warmth. She generously shared valuable recommendations for dining, sightseeing, and even pointed out excellent shopping spots. Moreover, indulging in the hot tub was an absolute delight, as we savored our time and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Without hesitation, we wholeheartedly recommend CloudZen for an unforgettable stay.

Fine, apart from the hassles with parking.

Nice location and the property itself was well furnished and comfortable.

The location presents difficulties if you are travelling by car. The parking is practically non-existent. On arrival I had to park some way away from the location. Plus, because it is residents only parking between the hours of 8am to 6pm, I had to move my car in the morning to a location about half a mile away in order to avoid a fine. Not a massive problem but it would be fairer to warn those staying that parking near the property may not be straightforward.

Fantastic stay in Margate for a weekend getaway

Claire was an excellent host. It was a lovely spacious, tidy room with a comfy bed and great amenities. The spa was amazing and a delicious breakfast spread was laid out in the morning. Would highly recommend CloudZen.

Home far away from home

very homey, comfortable and decorated with style. love the colours and fabrics. Some might expect a tv in the room but we have nice views from the top floor. You can take a relaxing bath if you like or relax in the reception room on the sofas. We had a quick snack but with fresh sourdough bread, yummy.

we were meant to have a continental breakfast. all that was supplied were apples bananas and cereal no fruit juice no pastries nothing except above. almost out of milk considering there were other guests also.

Cloud Zen felt like a glorified hostel, not what we’d expect for the money we paid.

The property had good decor, comfy big beds and good linen. We enjoyed the hot tub and the view across Margate from our room. The host was friendly and helpful.

Two of the showers were very hard to make work and one of us had the shower stop midway through showering. The breakfast was shockingly disappointing. A few basic cereals, some apples and a half bag of sliced bread to toast. Not what is suggested in the listing and not what we’d expect from a B&B. No tea facilities in the rooms.

A real gem, full of suprises and comfort

Claire is a wonderful host, all rooms were clean, bedding and features were beautiful. Many choices of bathrooms with a range of facilities including lovely large showers, a roll top bath in one, beautiful lighting and a wonderful large lounge with comfy seating and kitchen/ eating area. We were a group of 4 and had 2 rooms including the epic family room which was huge and truly lovely. Beds and bedding was very comfortable. Breakfast area lovely, toast, cereal, fruit, fresh coffee and teas. A fridge to leave things too. Very near to dreamland which was fun on last day, free entry many rides, rollerskating and events. Great local Italian restaurant nearby, and many eatieries including lovely Thai food. Many shops and quirky parts to explore. Free parking after 6pm and all day Sunday or 1 hour drop off time with free parking in Tivoli not too far away. Great base to relax and hot tub out the back. Would be great to rent whole property and studio for away day or larger family break.

Welcoming and comfortable stay, perfect for a solo traveller!

Short walk to high street, beach and lovely Old Town square. Sociable and welcoming guest house, spotlessly clean with plenty of shared bathroom and toilet facilities.

Would have liked to be able to open bedroom window, but it's probably restricted for health and safety reasons!
