Definitely stay here! We will be back

We are 3, my mother, myself and my daughter walking the Camino. This was a gorgeous apartment, very clean with a great location. We wished we could have stayed longer.

I can not think of a single thing we did not like.

Directly on the Camino Portuguese, and right next to the Cathedral! Beautiful place to spend the night! The flat is well furnished, and very comfortable! You also have access to a small terrace with beautiful views on Tui!

Spotlessly clean, very well equipped (big fluffy bath towels!!) and super helpful host

Only thing North Americans should note is AirCon doesn’t seem to cool down much (not sure I understood instructions) and no English language TV but easy access to streaming services.

fabulous for a rest day along the Camino

The property was right along the Camino route. it was extremely clean and recently remodeled. Also, as a bonus, the apartment has both a washer and dryer, which was fabulous while walking the Camino! We stayed for a rest day, and were really happy with our choice. I would highly recommend!

Location couldn't have been better; right along El Camino. It was a comfortable, spacious, clean room with a washer/dryer (for free!) and private patio.

Pretty noisy at night (we had to keep the windows open since there was no air conditioning).

Such cute & clean apartments. We had three for our group. Great space for kitchen & LR in each. Right on Camino & near lots of restaurants. Helped us with bag pickup.

Great location right in the centre of Tui. Perfect for the Camino.

The air conditioning wasn’t working due to maintenance.. the room was very warm at night if the windows we’re not wide open.

Conveniently located in town, beautifully renovated, and spacious for two. Would definitely recommend it.

The building has no noise reduction. There was a festival in town during our stay, so if you are a light sleeper, take some earplugs.

A Luxurious Blend of Modernity, History, and Hospitality

I am so grateful I made the decision to continue walking from Valença to Tui for my day of rest while traveling the Camino Português. Manuel and his daughter, Mariña, greeted me with a traditional cookie, a bottle of wine, and a welcome tour of the most magnificent apartment. Recently renovated to maximize comfort, ambience, and the charm of the medieval building, the unit reflects great attention to detail. A very comfortable bed, pristine bathroom, and a view from the veranda of the charming street below were highlights. A most delightful Mariña helped me navigate the city and made herself available via WhatsApp to answer questions. Proximity to attractions and shopping, including a grocery store and a cafe on the same street, made this stop undeniably the very best. I highly recommend Casa das Trabancas to pilgrims traveling the Camino or anyone visiting Tui for any length of time!
