Very centrally located
It was fine for us, but before you go, you should note that there is no lift. We saw this so we were prepared for it, but expect to carry your luggage up some narrow stairs.

Really enjoyed our stay the staff were very welcoming and the dinner was great. Great country pub feel watching the Gaelic football in a full Irish pub. Would recommend!

We liked:
Downstairs: the Thursday night Trad session; the fish gratin; the lovely pint of Guinness; the friendly atmosphere
Upstairs: the kingsize double bed; the comfy mattress; the crisp white sheets; the big clean room; the quiet (top floor room)
would have liked a couple more hangers for the clothes rack

Consiglio maggior attenzione

Breakfast is not served at the property but this was explained beforehand. There were 3-4 cafes within walking distance.
The security light on the landing kept switching on and off all night so I didn't get much sleep.

I can't say enough positive things about this we gem of a place. Food is amazing and the staff are super friendly. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm and clean. The bar is a busy, thriving place but it's still very welcoming. Killybegs is a beautiful place to explore, we always felt welcome and the whole place is alive until around 4am on a Saturday night. We love a socially active place and couldn't sing higher praises, there were no police sirens or fighting at kick out time. It really was like being in an old time port, where people are just there to relax and enjoy each others company. ( You wouldn't get this where I'm from) The hiking is amazing so much around to explore, especially at dusk, if you are a paranormal enthusiast like us. Lots of history. I have to give special mention to the best calamari I've had that wasn't cooked in Greece or Spain. So tender and well seasoned. Thank you so much to the staff of the fleet inn, we will definitely be back. Hopefully the weather will be better next time, but, rain is the reason Ireland is so green, so we don't complain about the rain. My husband and I still had a pleasant time dandering in the wet.
The only things I can really say wasn't a super duper points . Was the tequila incident 😂 pretty sure there was a "staff bottle" behind the downstairs bar. I ordered a Frankenstein version of my favourite drink. ( Good tequila, fresh lime juice and ice) I got the shot of the good tequila and paid a slightly steep price for it. Then the bottle miraculously disappeared. Leaving only the not the nicest tasting one. I know most people don't know about tequila, but as someone who is a lil Latina, I do. So I'd maybe just recommend carrying a good bottle that's for customers. The other thing is just that I couldn't figure out how to get the shower to the right temperature ( thankfully I wash in water the heat of hellfire on the regular, but my husband doesn't 😂) the fault lies with us here though because we didn't ask for help. So I guess I'm just saying, if you struggle with the shower temperature then ask the staff, I'm sure they'll help you out 🤗

Really nice room. Spotlessly clean. Impressed as didn't expect much and it wasn't very expensive. Lots of extras in our room we didn't expect (fridge, water, espresso machine with coffees, cookies, huge TV with netflix etc).
Hard to fault, no complaints.

The staff are exceptionally friendly, the food was delicious. We stayed on New Years Eve and had a great time. The rooms are quiet and we even had a little coffee maker in our room.
