Excellent value for money in safe neighbourhood
Very loud ventilation, if windows facing the street on the ground floor no privacy
4.5
Location and small but comfortable studio.
No sound insulation between apartments. You could hear all conversation (even at a normal inside volume) in the studio next door.

The stay at Kasa the Addison was amazing. The unit is very comfortable, very clean and well equipped. The washer-dryer, dishwasher and all kitchen equipment were very useful. The service given by the virtual front desk was always very efficient, fast and kind. Definitely a place to return to.
There's no air conditioning. During warm hours I needed to use the portable fan which is in the room, which is not very effective and is also very loud, to the point that it interrupted sleeping. This was the only negative issue there, in my view. Otherwise, I would have been happy to rate the Kasa as 10.
4.5
Great location with lots of good restaurants and nice shops, cozy but comfortable unit.
The walls are a bit thin, but the noise from other units wasn't too bad overall and didn't disturb our sleep.

I loved the location! Lots of hills, but very walkable and right next to a park. Also the accommodation was equipped with a dishwasher, stove top, and quality toiletries.
We were told they moved us into a smaller room type (basically the size of a hallway) than the pricier one we paid for so a different guest could be accommodated. They didn't tell us upfront even though we paid for a much bigger room. I was the one who reached out because I noticed, and when they said we would be able to move into the correct, bigger room halfway into our stay, they weren't responsive about which room to move to until around 9 pm at night.

location is excellent

like the studio had a kitchen and sitting area. pacific heights was also a nice location
nice space but when you say a hotel with apartments one expects that.
not knowing that there is no lift is a challenge. this needs to be shared clearly.
no cleaning of rooms. expecting to throw garbage, one might as well do an airbnb then.
no place to keep luggage after 11 o’clock checkout so you are forced to extend till whatever time and pay extra. like till 3 pm I paid USD 50 extra.

Very modern and well designed
Cleanliness was not bad but it could have been cleaner

First time staying with Kasa and appreciated their fast response times even though it was a virtual front desk and self-check in. There were a couple of issues with the room once I had checked in, but they sorted it promptly and the service staff were very attentive.
4.5
Very clean. Bathroom and Kitchenette were stocked with everything we needed for a 1 week stay, inluding the whasher, dryer, iron and ironing board. The AC worked well and the bed was comfortable. The property is very close to the main bus routes that take you to the most touristic parts of San Francisco.
Walls were thin and we could hear neighbour snoring throughout the night. Luckily we had earplugs with us, so we solved the issue.

Extremely secure space. Basic cooking (salt, pepper, oil) and cleaning supplies provided. Beautiful modern interiors and bathroom/kitchen upgrades. Comfortable bed/mattress.
Cramped furniture for size of space. Drop-leaf dining table needs to be replaced (Poor construction/flaps do not work).
Window shades are good for sleeping, but need to add sheer panels as well. I was not able to let light in during the day without completing losing privacy.
Overhead shower mount gets water everywhere - consider installing a hand unit as well.
Kitchen towels would be nice - had to use bathroom towels instead.
Velvet hangers are a nuisance - consider adding uncoated hangers as well.
Spotty WiFi - had to leave kitchen cabinet doors open to improve wifi router function. consider moving to wall.
No filtered water dispenser - consider adding to common area.

Wow, what a great experience with Kasa! I was looking for an apartment for my week long stay in SF and The Addison truly delivered! The apartment was stunning and new. The kitchen was beautiful and the bed was super comfortable. Location was a dream in the middle of Pac Heights. I think I found my new home away from home!
