No tan agradable

La ubicación muy buena, debería de haber más variedad de el desayuno.

El personal muy a la defensiva, mal encarados algunos. No existía tanta amabilidad como otros hoteles en los cuales he ido.

La ubicación del hotel es muy buena, a dos cuadras del metro. El desayuno también nos pareció muy bien, había variedad para escoger

Las ventanas de las habitaciones no son insonorizadas, por lo que se escucha por un lado el metro pasando en las noches y por el otro las chivas y fiestas nocturnas. El ruido no es al punto de no poder dormir, pero interrumpe el descanso

Buena ubicación.

Lo que más me gustó fue la ubicación del hotel. Definitivamente muy cerca de todo. La habitación estaba bien, hacían limpieza todos los días y quedaba bien. El desayuno no fue muy variado, pero apenas lo necesario. En recepción me ayudaron a revervar un servicio al aeropuerto y los tours que quería hacer.

Vi en comentarios anteriores que había mucho ruido, mi habitación tenía un poco, pero cerraba las ventanas y todo bien. Creo que es parte de tener una ubicación tan buena y tan céntrica.

Nice and clean, but the bait and switch tactic turned me off.

Hotel Egina is very clean. Breakfast was great with a good assortment of food. Staff very polite. Many other small restaurants just a few meters away on the main road.

I paid for a junior suite. One with a couch in it that they showed in the pictures. I didn't get that. i didn't appreciate the bait and switch tactic. I booked for myself and my spouse but when I got there the price was more because either booking.com or the hotel messed up. Only had one towel in the bathroom and when called down for more, they only brought one more.

Convenient location for transportation and shopping.

Room was clean, and location is great because it’s only 2 blocks of walking distance to the metro station. Breakfast was ok. They tried to have a couple of different dishes everyday. The breads, however, were not fresh! Fruits and fruit juices were nice. The breakfast servers were very nice and attentive.

We were told because there was no towels delivery, there was no towels in our room when we checked in! What! We were finally given one towel for the two of us that night. We had towels the subsequent days, no problem. The tv channels didn’t work, they finally put a new receiver in after 5 days for it to work! We told the front desk of a missing light bulb in one of the lamps in our room a few times, but they never took care of it. I told them there was no hand soap in the downstairs ladies restroom, and the front desk receptionist simply told me it was because the dispenser didn’t work, and they didn’t attempt to replace or fix it. We stayed in a suite which had the smallest bathroom ever with a very narrow space to get in and out of the walk-in shower.

Another sleepless night....

Clean and spacious. The brealfast was excellent and the staff were all very nice.

A lot of noise. Right next to several discos so loud music and partying until 3am nightly. I like to party, but i don't know anybody that can get a good sleep with regaton blaring literally next door. The discos have very good sound systems. You can feel the bass on the 8th floor of the hotel.

Good value, loud outside sometimes

Very nice staff, breakfast was decent, location overall was not bad. There is always a security guard by the door which was assuring. I liked having the air conditioner too, a lot of places don't come with one.

The rooms are quite small, and the noise level outside was impossible to sleep without earplugs. Thank god I had some, it wasn't the fault of the property, but Colombia is a loud country, be prepared.

Great hotel, will return to this hotel

The breakfast was repetitive but the staff and waiter very nice and friendly. The rooms were super clean, and housekeeping would be very attentive to cleaning every morning.

We stood in suite with balcony for 4 nights. Everything was great until we found a little gap in between the windows and the next room where our neighbors would be able to hear everything.

An enjoyable stay in central Medellín

The location is perfect, just a few steps away from metro Estadio. The rooms have air conditioning, plenty of hot water, and are comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good and had a good variety of fruits, bread, and eggs. The free WiFi was very good and stayed up the whole time. Highly recommended!

The neighborhood can turn into a party district at night. Light sleepers should get a room on an upper floor.
