Beautifully decorated and well equipped home and convenient location. Half mile to town and directly across the street from the beach. Shannon was super attentive and helpful throughout the process. We can’t wait to return.

Our family and friend getaway to Shannon‘s house was fantastic. The space fit two families with three little children perfectly. Plenty of bedrooms with a large and well outfitted kitchen. The outdoor spaces really stole the show for the children since they could go outside and play safely all around the house, especially loving the big hill out front. Another highlight was s’mores at the backyard fire pit. The additional easy access to the beach gave hours of entertainment for everyone. Shannon was a wonderful host, giving suggestions and quick responses to any questions. We hope to be back again!

Our family really enjoyed visiting Peaks Island, and staying at this gorgeous residence. Very restful and accommodating. Hostess was exemplary and would recommend as a location if in Maine.

The property was beautiful and the house more than accommodated 4 ladies. Shannon had bicycles that allowed us to see Peaks Island. She had all necessities readily available and provided insight to places on the island. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a quiet, beautiful getaway!

This is a gorgeous house that has it all - comfortable rooms and outstanding amenities, big lawn with a fire pit, front porch, patio, easement access to the beach across the street, and close to the ferry and village to boot. The owner Shannon was simply the best - buying beach, indoor, and bath toys and books for the kids to read. Anyone looking for a vacation rental on Peaks Island should consider staying here.

Loved everything about our stay here! Very easy to take the ferry back and forth to Portland. We opted not to get a car and just used the taxi to take our luggage to the house the first night. Home was beautiful and the host was wonderful! Thank you for letting us stay here!

We came to the island for a wedding and the house was perfect for my family of 5. Plenty of space to get ready and Beautful porch for morning coffee. Short walk to town and beach accessible across the street for walking. We had a lovely stay and all amenities you will ever need.

The home was perfect for our family of four. We spent the weekend on peaks island attending a family wedding. The host checked in with us each day and went out of her way to make sure that our day was perfect. The home was beautiful with eclectic decor. The home is so inviting and present it is soft be the perfect place to gather after our family commitments and we connect as a family. The oceans views were inviting. The property was super clean and the host left us food items to get started with for the weekend. So thoughtful! The fact that we did not include additional cost to rent a golf cart was definitely a perk. Other family members spent $250 a day for a golf cart rental.
We had family obligations throughout the weekend but can’t wait to go back so we can enjoy the home and the local attractions. This home for any future rental needs.

This property is immaculate, and Shannon goes above and beyond to accommodate her guests. I just wish we would have been able to spend more time to just sit around and enjoy the beautiful grounds, but we ventured over to Portland almost every day.
The house has everything you need, and catching the ferry is so easy.
Don’t pass this house up!!!

We had a fanstastic six night stay at this beautiful home. Shannon was wonderful in her communication and responsiveness. The house is fully outfitted for a great stay. We had four adults and four small children and the house was perfect for us.
Loved Peaks and hope to return soon!

The house was wonderful for our stay (2 families, 4 adults 4 kids). It was clean and well stocked with amenities. The hosts gave us a great orientation when we arrived and were always available as needed. The beach was just across the street and my kids loved the kayaks and paddleboards at the house. We went into Portland for dinner a few times and the ferry was easy to navigate. There are also 4-5 on island dinner options and we were very happy with the ones we tried.
It was a great stay and would definitely look to head back next year.

Shannon went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect and we had everything we needed. Her home is just as beautiful on the outside as it is on the inside and the views are gorgeous. The bedding and linens are top-notch. The baths even came equipped with toiletries. Plenty of outside activities are available, including kayaks, bikes, paddle boards, a grill, and a quaint bond fire area. We spent many hours in the rocking chairs enjoying the views from the porch. We would highly recommend this property.

Perfect Family Summer Getaway
We had such a perfect week out on Peaks at Shannon's property. The house beautiful, very well equipped, and comfortable. Thoughtful touches throughout and also some really lovely art, which you don't often find in a rental! The house has a beautiful front and back yard which was a dream for the little kids in our group. Great beach access, too. From start to finish Shannon was beyond accommodating. We can't wait to come back!

Fantastic stay on Peaks Island
Home was immaculate, decorated beautifully and equipped with everything we needed during our stay! Wonderful towels and linens. Great access to the beach - we enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards. The front porch was our favorite spot for morning coffee and to watch the sunset. Location is very peaceful and walkable to the downtown area, although we usually traveled by golf cart or bike.
Shannon was a very welcoming and kind host - she responded quickly to any questions we had during our stay. We highly recommend this home if you are planning a visit to Peaks Island!
