I'll Be Back!!

Very pleasent and Friendly Staff? Food was also Excellent? That's my Second Visit and I Would Strongly Recommend The Mandarin Plaza Hotel in Cebu

Würde das Mandarin immmer wieder buchen.

Zimmer sind recht großflächig und gut augeteilt. Frühstück im Philippino Stil ist Ok. Für Europäer ist es etwas dürftig, es gibt nur Eier und 2 Sorten Marmelade sowie Toast. Es fehlt an etwas Käse oder Wurst. Die Lage des Hotels ist recht gut,ein sehr großes Einkaufszentrum ist in weniger Minuten erreichbar.

Einzigster Negativpunkt war das beschränkte Frühstück.

Good convenient hotel if you’re not a fussy person.

Location. Employees were very helpful especially bellman Mark and doorman Jose.

Breakfast was very limited. Coffee cups appeared very old with stains. Kids noisy running on floor until around midnight although security were prompt in responding and trying to control the situation.

Breakfast is not intentional and gets cold because of high aircon , I have complained about that since 2017, but never improved.

Excellent breakfast. Excellent staff.

The tv was not working throughout the hotel. To slow to fix. Also the gym and pool not available. Gym and pool are things that attract people to stay there. Covid restrictions on these amenities have been lifted elsewhere throughout the world. I will be staying cebu again

Nice place for 1 night.

Room was nice, good size bathroom. The staff at the front desk were very nice. TV was a big, and had a few English channels.

The gym and pool are still closed. Which is a shame I can perhaps understand the pool being shut. But not sure why the gym is.

I never ever experience or remember a hotel who ask for cash deposit payment before check in .

My family stayed the hotel for a night they have a good feed back room is spacious , breakfast is reasonable with varieties to choose .

I was really shocked upon check in the hotel asked for cash deposit payment of 2,500 PHP . My family wants to pay the price for 1 night using credit card however it’s required to pay cash deposit as the hotels policy . On check out my family paid using credit card . When I checked my account I have a pending payment of the hotel . I emailed the hotel to question about the pending payment when in fact my family paid for it . They replied to say it’s my family’s credit card shows for the payment . I complained to my bank to dispute pending payment in my account and I’m waiting for reply . The next day I got email from the hotel apologize for overlooking the system they already email the authorization bank to cancel pending payment in my account . It’s been a week now my pending payment still not cancelled .

Just an suggestion please indicate in your online booking what facilities are not available.

The bed is comfty and the food is satisfying.

The room is not soundproof, the voice and noises from outside our room wakes us in the middle of the night. The unavailability of the pool did'nt indicate in our booking my husband is a little bit upset about it.

They automatically deducted x2 from our bank. 3k room rate but they deducted 7k plus and until now they didn't reach us out. We keep on calling but they didn't give us any updates 😔. It's been a week but no lead time when our money will be transferred. They advised us to pay in cash since they told us that they already processed the return of the funds. We check in last Dec 31 2022 until now January 6,2023 no updates for refund.

Nice hotel that disappointed

Room was very nice. Think too big for a couple. Book it so cannot complain.

Breakfast was very poor. Thought it would be a buffet but alas no. Sunny side up eggs undercooked. Still runny egg white. Poor quality bacon. Toast undercooked. Not good choice of fruit juice. Not relaxed,too regimented. Would be happy to educated for European needs. At the moment would stay elsewhere.

Great hotel and a great value for your money!

Rooms were nice and clean. Air conditioning worked great. The complimentary breakfast was excellent! Food and drink prices were very reasonable.

No negatives.

The staff was very nice. The bed was very comfortable.

The bathroom was clean but smelled strongly of urine. The room itself smelled musty and damp.
