We stayed only one night to attend a family get together. The home was just as it is listed. Home was clean and had a cute personalized welcome sign when we entered. They also had little food items which was such a nice bonus. It is in a good location in Waco. I would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at Pecan Hill House. We hope to stay there again in the future.

Wonderful and affordable location for our family to participate in the Waco Ironman 70.3 event.

The home was great and the host thought of every detail. Being on a corner of a busy road, it was very noisy at night but each bedroom has sound machines. The neighborhood was a little rough but we didn’t feel unsafe and it seems that much of Waco looks like that. All in all, we had a wonderful time and would stay here again.

Host was great once we connected. Home had fresh flowers in every room, was clean, had a washer and dryer, was comfortable. The king bed is in the front room next to a major road. Road noise was noisy! We finally bought ear plugs and were able to sleep through the night. The host brought us fresh baked cookies upon arrival and couldn’t have been nicer.

My friends and I stayed here for the weekend as a girls getaway and loved it. The place was clean and definitely decorated in Magnolia worthy fashion. We loved the little touches like chocolates on the side tables and beverages in the fridge for us. Great location to be close to magnolia and downtown, the neighborhood definitely isn’t super sketchy like one of the reviews mentioned, though it’s not necessarily a fancy part of town. We felt very safe though and the other houses on the street were cute and clean. Comfy beds too, and lots of helpful touches like noise machines and fold up chairs for extra seating. We all agree we’d stay there again!

I got in late with my son, traveling to come visit Baylor. When we arrived we did not feel safe to come out of our car. Sirens were going off, dogs barking incessantly, chain linked fence you have to walk through to stay in the unit. When we entered in, shams were torn, leather chairs tattered, and sirens and dogs continued barking. We decided to leave to go stay at a hotel. I tried to reach out several times to the manager and didn’t hear back for quite some time (not until 11:30 pm) I asked for a refund because we didn’t feel safe. She said “no way” and was not understanding at all. I highly suggest not staying here even though she has “Chip and Joanna Gaines items” in the trailer. Regardless of the police department being close, that didn’t make us feel any safer.
Please be warned.

The house is great for families. It also has a lot of small touches that other rentals might not offer, such as cordless phone chargers and alarm clocks with built-in sleep noises. The roads around the house are pretty busy, but the house is within 15 minutes of all the major attractions around Waco.

It was the perfect mother daughter weekend, and this was the perfect house for us. The house was decorated adorably! Everything was very clean, the beds were wonderful, and the extra treat she left us was yummy. Perfect location regardless of what you are doing in Waco! We would definitely come back and stay here.

Our family of 6 was very comfortable in this home as we were in town for an outside event nearby. We were able to come back to enjoy some AC and comfy beds for naps and snacks. We really appreciated the extra touches, treats, and notes. Thank you for having us!
