About this house rental
Location, Location, Location! Welcome to The Inn at Park Spring! Formerly the Park Spring Bed & Breakfast, we dropped the breakfast to serve VRBO guests near and far as a boutique hotel.
ROOM 1: This traditionally appointed room features original hardwood floors on which a queen size bed sits. Adding to the comfort of this bright & sunny room is two sitting areas & a marble ensuite bathroom (w/ double shower heads!). The room also comes with one off street parking spot a block away.
The space:
This historic home was built in the early 1800s and has served many purposes. What started as a single family home turned into an antique store, then converted to a rooming house, morphed into a bed and breakfast in the 1980's, and dropped the breakfast to serve VRBO guests near and far.
The location of the Inn at Park Spring cannot be beat. We are located downtown, just a half mile walk to the center of the Old Port. Our neighborhood offers you a central spot located in the heart of the arts district, on the edge of the tranquil west end neighborhood, and just a stones throw to museums, art galleries, theaters, restaurants, shops, and bars.
With just six guest rooms, our inn offers a peaceful stay, satisfying social guests or those seeking solace. Each private room, with private ensuite bath, is furnished with a queen sized bed, white noise machine, a reading chair (or couch depending on the room), and a mini fridge.
A Smart TV is provided should guests have their own streaming services. *no cable or streaming service is provided by the host*
Five guest rooms share the sitting room located on the first floor which has a coffee station and luggage nook for guests who need storage before and/or after check out.

I thought everything was well decorated.House was in a very pretty area of Portland. It did seem like there was a little fluctuation in temperature from room to room did not bother me, but my wife did make a comment. It was a little warmer in the bedroom than she would like. I think the host was over the top, considerate in providing all the amenities of a home. overall, it was a great stay!

My wife and I had a pleasant stay at Katrina's place, centrally located to many great places. She was super responsive and very pleasant to work with.

Katrina was great! She sent all necessary information a day before- home was easily accessible and parking was across the street.
We went to a show at Cross Insurance Arena and it was within walking distance- can’t recommend this place enough!

Lovely Inn with great character and charm. Very nice common area with tea and coffee with dishes and mugs.
The room temperature was an issue. It was way too hot. I reached out to the owner and she just said the temp will lower from 75 degrees to 70 and the heat will come on every 3 to 5 hours. I will never stay in a room /home where I do not control the temperature. She was not helpfull or unwilling to lower the heat. It was way too hot and dry.
Furniture was sparse (a chair was missing from the picture) but functional.

Awesome little spot, close to food and coffee! Was in town for a short business trip, check in was a breeze, communication was clear, no problems at all! The building itself was really awesome too, btw.

The house was nice and the community coffee area was much appreciated. There are a couple restaurants within a very short walk.

Super close to everything! Took advantage of ordering Holy Donuts and bringing them back for breakfast in the nook.

Absolutely adorable! We loved our room. Location is perfect - it’s walking distance from downtown. Parking downtown looked like a nightmare so it was nice to not have to deal with that.
The bed was comfortable, it was nice to have the mini fridge. Would definitely recommend this property.

Owners were easy to communicate with and gave great instructions. The area is very nice and we had easy access to get to the highways to drive down the coast of Maine and to New Hampshire. The room was good as well. Having dedicated parking spaces was also a huge plus.

Excellent location with easy walk to Old Port, arts district, west end. Room is very comfortable, clean and quiet. I found this on VRBO and would note that it is NOT a typical VRBO stay as it has no kitchen or living space. THere is a small fridge in the room and a microwave and coffee maker in a common room…fine for a short stay.

Wish the room had a ceiling fan and quieter air conditioner
The antique sofa and chairs not comfortable at all

Wife and I stayed here one night. Good location and excellent room.

We use Vrbo a lot and this was the easiest check-in. It was nice to have the extra shared sunny space in the front of the inn which had a microwave, coffee maker, tea and utensils. The fridge in the room; the off-street parking and the large shower were a bonus. The location was perfect. The only thing missing was it would have been nice to have drawer space for clothing but they did have hanger space. We will definitely be staying here again when we come to portland.

Two nights in Portland
A lovely room in a nicely maintained old house with a nice modernized bathroom, easy check in, and close to old port. Host was responsive. Some street noise on first floor. Nice common room, but with no AC unbearable to stay in. Coffee supplied but the addition of some real milk would have been appreciated. A big plus was the free off street parking kitty corner to the building.

Convenient Portland location
Nice location. Absolutely inaccessible for elder/handicapped. Steep front stairs almost impossible to climb w luggage. Fancy marble shower w nary a grab bar, and smooth marble flooring in shower. Slippery when soapy water on it. Dangerous! Combination lock to room 1 hard to use.

Cozy, and short walks to any number of great eats!
While we stayed in the “off season” and the weather was less than desirable, we loved being a short walk from the many places to eat on Congress street, or down the hill to the East ends waterfront dining and shopping areas.
Highly recommend it for the couple that wants to get away for a couple days, enjoy the beauty of the architecture, history, outstanding dining establishments, and come home to a well appointed, well cared for home, right in the center of most of the aforementioned.
Easy communication with the owner, who’s very responsive, informative, and obviously has a passion for ensuring her guests, and premises are well cared for, thank you!

Highly recommend
This place was near perfection. Just as photographed and more. Clean, comfortable, and high-end without fuss. Katrina was easy to communicate with, attentive but not invasive. Getting into the building and room was easy. I had a first-floor room but the sound machine next to the bed made a city room cozy and peaceful. Location cannot be beat, great neighborhood with everything nearby and walkable. Easy walk to Old Port, coffee shops, the theatre I saw a show in, and more. I will return.

Luxurious and Convenient
Simply stunning property. Victorian charms and high end lovely modern finishes throughout the room, bathroom, and common room. Location could not be better - close to amazing restaurants and bars and the best of the Old Port and West End areas. The borrow-able umbrellas came in very handy also. The only upgrade I could hope for would have been to-go cups for the morning coffee, but not a big deal.

Perfectly located
This was an excellent property from which to explore Old Portland and the waterfront. The room was super clean, well appointed, and very comfortable. The neighborhood was calm with minimal noise It is within walking distance to the restaurants at the waterfront and all of the great food off of Congress Street. We had everything we needed for a weekend getaway.
