About this house rental

Mid-lake spacious cottage with amazing views, deep water, protected swimming area, near boat ramp/marinas/restaurants.

Feel the stress melt away when you arrive. This inviting, newly remodeled cottage is nestled in the trees and located on a large, year-round, deep-water slough with gorgeous views on beautiful Lake Martin. Sitting mid-lake with easy access to marinas, restaurants, the cliffs of chimney rock, goat island and the rest of the main lake, it’s perfect for your family or group.

Start the morning watching the sunrise overlooking the lake with your first cup of coffee from the upper decks. The open concept kitchen and living room open directly onto the large screened porch and deck. The kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and bar seating for six. The dining table also seats five inside and there is additional dining space on the screened porch which features a large table and several sitting areas. French doors and plenty of windows offer unmatched views of the lake from the house, the attached large, screened porch or the open deck.

Also on the main level, the new master suite has a large private bath with soaking tub, separate shower and magnificent lake views. The master also has private access to the open-air deck.

On the lower level, three additional bedrooms, each with its own full bath, all open onto a beautiful all-season sunroom with direct access to the lakefront.

The cottage sports 300+ feet of shoreline, a large waterside patio/sunning/sitting/lounging area, mooring whips attached to the boathouse for your boat, a sandy beach with fire pit and protected swimming areas. The large shoreline offers great areas for kids to swim. The dock provides a great area for fishing or sunbathing throughout the day. We also have two kayaks and a paddle board for your use!

The house is less than three minutes by land or water to the nearest public boat launch.

There are multiple restaurants within minutes of the house.

We are approximately 40 minutes to Auburn University, perfect for home games.

Golfers enjoy playing at the nearby Stillwaters Golf Course on the lake or at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail’s Grand National Golf Club in Auburn.

For hiking enthusiasts, Lake Martin’s Cherokee Ridge Alpine trail offers incredible hiking trails. Google ‘Cherokee Ridge Alpine Trail Association’ or ‘Lake Martin Resource Association (LMRA)’ to learn more about this incredible natural resource.

We require a signed Rental Agreement to be returned to us at least 60 days prior to your reservations or immediately if your visit is less than 60 days out. We have a no pet policy. No exceptions.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was exactly as described on the listing. The kids loved kayaking & the big water mat. We had brought our boat & the guys thoroughly enjoyed going out fishing every day. We did have a hiccup with the AC but Dana was very responsive in getting that taken care of for us. We will definitely be back!

We rented the cabin for family coming from out of State and ourselves for my daughter’s Wedding at New Water Farms. The cabin was perfect, spacious for gathering with great bedrooms and entertaining spaces for adults and kids. Check-in was easy and parking accommodated everyone. The view is amazing and the beach area with fire pit is a great plus. We highly recommend this cabin and will book it again.

This was by far the best vacation rental that our family has ever booked! Every single detail was more than we had imagined! There was plenty of space for our family to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Lake Martin! We will most definitely be coming back!! Dana was more than accommodating and extremely attentive!! This is a lovely property with everything you need to have a wonderful family vacation. We especially appreciated the number of bedrooms and bathrooms! And the kitchen was perfect for hosting a big Thanksgiving dinner.

Hanging out on the comfy screened porch often felt like we were on the water. There may have been some water lapping induced porch naps- so relaxing. Wonderful home, super clean, well-stocked, great dick and shoreline areas, responsive owner. We really enjoyed our long weekend getaway- thank you very much for sharing!

Stayed during the week of July 4th - great space and plenty of room for everyone. Bunk bed worked out great for our 2 year old granddaughter. Screened in porch or deck great spot to enjoy morning coffee. Nice private beach area to make sandcastles and son-in-law enjoyed fishing. Plenty of games provided along with pool table. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We were thoroughly delighted with the Lakehouse. Very clean, well stocked, comfortable furnishings, perfect place on the lake for kids to play in the water, swim platform and Maui mat were well used by the kids. We felt very safe and well protected in the neighborhood. The owners were very receptive to our concerns about one of the appliances and had it replaced in a couple of days. Owners were very gracious and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. We highly recommend this property for family vacations.

After selling our beach home, we needed a place to vacation with our pontoon and JetSki’s. Heard about Lake Martin, and was super excited. Our stay here was perfect! We had a little rain on our first couple of days and had plenty to do with games and books provided by the host. Once the sun came out, we enjoyed our days jet skiing, relaxing in the sun and long boat rides. It was easy to dock our boat and beach our jet skis on the little beach on the property! This property had everything we needed to make fabulous meals and to spread out if we needed quiet time. Our group included our four daughters two son-in-law’s and two grandsons and we had plenty of room! We can’t wait to come back next year!

It was an amazing getaway from the city. I fell in love with the scenery, tranquility, the peace and quiet. I felt the the devine presense at this place and it was heavenly. I can't imagine a better place spend the holiday with my family.

We had SUCH a great time on this year's Lake Martin vacation, and this great house is the biggest reason. We come to the lake every year, always choosing a new place to stay, but haven't found a house that we'd want to return to again and again. Not anymore though--this house was perfect and filled every need we had. Comfy beds, quiet street, a great kitchen, outdoor amenities like kayaks, a fire pit, a hammock, etc. Our family enjoyed everything about this house. Thank you so much and we'll see you next year!

This house absolutely exceeded our expectations – from the house lay out, to the location, to the cleanliness, to how everything was so well stocked. The bonus is the swimming bad, paddle board, and kayaks that were included. My group of 8 people had an absolute fantastic time and we all have said that we would love to come back again. The location was perfect. The house was beautiful, spacious, and very clean. The weather wasn’t in our favor for sunbathing, but we had a great weekend regardless! We highly recommend this rental house for your vacation on Lake Martin! We plan to return next year.

We rented this property to relax and also to travel into nearby Auburn for a football game in September. It’s a beautiful and peaceful lake and the house is great. It appears to be all remodeled and in great shape. Fully stocked kitchen was a great size and we loved hanging out on the covered patio.

Spent our annual ladies trip here this year. Very nice change from the beach. Everything was exceptional and being “older ladies” we loved the easy access getting in and out of the water. We booked for next year before we ever left! Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our week at Pleasure Point. It had everything--2 common rooms so the kids could watch TV downstairs & grownups upstairs. Paddleboards, kayak, maui mat and big dock, & private beach. Every bedroom had a private bathroom with an additional 1/2 bath upstairs. Screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee, meals, and game night. Will definitely be back!!!

My family and I spent 7 nights here and we did not want to leave! Love to remolded house, fully stocked, the best part was the lake, and dock. Beach for swimming for the kids, and floating island dock that they played everyday. Dana was great and responsive, we will definitely be staying here again!

This property is even better in person! It has anything and everything you will ever need, from cooking to entertaining to water activities and more (even black washcloths for makeup removal and a lighted/magnifying makeup mirror!) Loce that each bedroom has its own bathroom - super convenient/private. Decorated to a T and so comfortable. We had my 80-year old mother, 22-year old daughter who just graduated from Auburn, 3 of her friends, my husband and myself. First visit for all of us to Lake Martin and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. We will be back soon! Thank you Dana.

We planned this vacation with our two adult children, their spouses and our grandson. It was everything we hoped for. The house is awesome. There is a spacious screened in porch overlooking the lake and lots of outdoor space for relaxing. We were 100% satisfied!!
