We loved the view from the big deck and the hot tub. The decor was nice and the house is updated and feels new. The staff was very responsive when we need supplies for the hot tub. The A/C was wonderful, we all like it very cold when we sleep annd the beds were super comfy. Overall we had a fabulous time.
Some feedback:
The room configurations made it a little hard to divide up as we were two families with two kids each. It would be nice if the second main floor bedroom had a queen bed as one adult couple in their 40s had to sleep in a full bed while the other got a king.
The water is too low from the dock for the kids to jump in. We found trash and used items in a few places in the home. The deck and outside furniture wasn’t clean and had dead smashed bugs everywhere. Lastly, the house is on a very busy street.

We loved the location on the lake, the dock and house. Fabulous sunset and mountain views. Close to Hiawassee and right next to great marina and boat rental as well as a Tiki Bar at the end of the marina. No noise from the marina or tiki bar either. Easy check in and assistance

This home is very nice and a good location. It sits close to the home next door but still feels very private. Great view of the lake. A couple of nit pick items include hot tub jets did not work, outside garbage cans were full when we arrived

Spacious comfortable well stocked home.. Hot tub was unusually challenging to change temp. Text Priscilla and next she was at the door to review and set! Maybe some instructions on how to operate will help others. Granddaughter even caught a nice bass off dock! Great location close to several activities and town.

Gorgeous home rental on the NE side of Lake Chatuge.

Everything was awesome! The house has plenty of room for 7 people. The beds were
super-comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. The fire pit was also a nice touch. We loved the hot tub and the outdoor deck space to have coffee and breakfast with an amazing view of lake and mountains. So many great things to do nearby. Check in process was smooth and the communication was great! Highly recommend!

Property was closer to a main road than I thought it would be but it wasn't too loud overnight. I wish the lake hadn't been so low but my family and I had a very nice time.

There were 10 of us ages 2-92. The house was very well stocked. Better than most of the vacation rentals I have been to.
Everything was very clean and well taken care of. The dock was great for our pontoon boat.
My family enjoyed our stay there and would stay again.

Easy access to property, boating ramp virtually next property, house was fully stocked, great linens & beds, entertainment area was large, top deck was great for entertaining and grilling with a marvelous view of sunset, downstairs outside patio was another great space! We plan to book again for next year!

We loved the house and location right on the lake. It is so beautiful, I loved sitting on the huge deck every morning to have coffee and read, and then dinner with a sunset every night( I didn’t even want to go out to dinner because I loved eating on the deck with the amazing views) so many bathrooms, which is great for a family of 6, with 4 kids and 3 being teenagers. There was so much to do in the area, we hiked, we rented a pontoon, we went white water rafting and kayaking. My kids did not complain that they were bored at all. I wish it wasn’t so far away( we are from New Jersey) or I’d be be back sooner.

From the moment we pulled in to the paved driveway until we left to go home, our 9 day stay was Amazing! Very modern, up to date and clean. We had several different drop in guest and several times had some big gatherings for a meal. Plenty of room on that long and spacious deck that overlooke Lake Chatuge. The sunsets were spactacular and even watching the ducks each day was enjoyable. This place was actually so large that we found ourselves not even hanging out in all the rooms. So yeah plenty of room for all ages and privacy. Cooking was super fun and the grilling was epic! The hot tub was used alot and with having the newly renovated boat marina next door we were able to rent lake fun items super easlily and had a super fun time floating and playi9ng on and in the lake.
Many memories to make here on Lake Chatuge.
We will be back!

This house is beautiful, with a fantastic layout for multiple families and perfect décor for a lake house. We had three couples plus two children and a dog stay in the home, and we all had plenty of space. The furnishings were great and well appointed. We did have some issues with the plumbing due to the weather conditions, but the host was very responsive and helpful. I would recommend this property for large or multiple families.

We had a fabulous week at this property. They had it decorated for Christmas which made it extra charming.

My wife and I and two other couples enjoyed a nice warm fall weekend at this location. There was ample space for the six of us. The outside wraparound decking was a great feature to enjoy the outside. It was close both to Hayesville North Carolina and Hiawassee Georgia so that we could enjoy restaurants at both locations during the stay. I can’t say enough good things about Priscilla, the host manager, as she was prompt in answering my questions and provided all the information necessary for the stay to be enjoyable.

Great Memory Maker!
Everything was perfect at this vacation home! All the boys had a blast and my dog played in the lake and sunning on the deck. We brought a gate from home and used bbq to secure her. The beds were dreamy and we have nothing but good memories here!!!

Amazing!!
This place is stunning! We had our wedding here (not a full event- just an intimate exchange of vows in front of family and a couple of friends) and everyone has raved about the pictures! The view is breathtaking and the house couldn’t be more beautiful! The host is very communicative and friendly. Everything was so perfect! I HIGHLY recommend this place!

Beautiful lake vacay
My family had a wonderful time! There were so many thoughtful touches throughout the home (I.e. kabobs for s’mores, firewood, sunblock, towels). The home was clean and in a nice little cove next to the marina which made loading and unloading our boat super easy. The dock was super nice and our older boys enjoyed fishing and swimming off of it. We spent a large portion of our time on the beautiful porch eating and hanging out.
There were a few kitchen utensils that would’ve been nice (a smasher for potatoes and guac & a pasta strainer) and there was a bees nest under the porch steps. My dad and middle son got stung (no biggie we got bee spray at store and took care of it). Neither of these things really affected our stay. My family had a wonderful time. We will be staying here again next year!

The best lake house!
My large family of 10 plus 3 dogs including two 8 month old twins it was absolutely amazing and worth every penny. We struggled with flooding and water leakage during some storms however we made the best of it regardless. The house was absolutely beautiful, the dock was very convenient, the house is so close to everything and right down the road from Jack Rabbit boat launch access, and Priscilla was so helpful throughout everything and amazing to work with when dealing with a rental vacation home. We can’t wait to rent the Great Lake Escape house again soon!

Amazing decor and lake views
This house is beautiful and you can tell it is well taken care of. The set up is great for large families. As stated, it is off a main road so you can hear cars but it doesn't take away from the overall relaxing vibe the home gives. I would suggest for family stays with small children be sure to bring two stair gates, you will need them. Also note master room is great set up for two kids to sleep on twin beds and king for parents. There is also a single room on main floor with a full size bed, it is not a queen- good for one adult or smaller couple. Loft area is amazing! I can't say enough about the decor and cleanliness in the home. I would suggest the hottube cleanliness be inspected by the maid prior to next guest just debris in the bottom, no major dirt that wouldn't allow one to still enjoy. Also note with kids be sure to bring plastic bowls, cups etc- glass is the only option out side of coffee mugs. Will return again. Thanks for the memories.

Great property with great amenities and a fantastic view
Great house. Plenty is space for everyone to spread out and stay connected at the same time. Well appointed and furnished. Great communication with Priscilla, the concierge manager her who checked in with us to ensure all was good with our stay.
A couple of minor things that could be improved upon—- theee was no bath soap in 4 of the 5 baths and even though there was a brand new bbq grill, the propane tank was empty. None of these were deal breakers because everything sale was great.
Priscilla even allowed us to check out later than the specified time because it snowed the day before and the road conditions were not the best in the morning.
Overall, a great place. We will be back
