We had two families with 4 young children on the trip. The house was wonderful and was conveniently located between the town of Black Mountain and the city of Asheville. Both were short drives and we enjoyed our ability to travel between both very easily. House was wonderful and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend.

The view, the spacious rooms, and of course the hot tub!

The house description tells you everything that is there but upstairs ins the main masters with bathroom and the weight room is upstairs where it’s probably 15 degrees colder in that room. There is no other floor that has a bedroom with a bathroom, the towels where nice but only a couple per bathroom so with 9 people it was difficult. The dishwasher didn’t work properly it took 3-4 hours for a load of dishes and soap was not dissolved, and the dishes were not clean. We tried everything Vacasa asked us to do and nothing worked, So we had to do dishes my hand. Refrigerator in kitchen didn’t make enough ice for more than 1 glass of ice we had to get it from the basement. The lights seemed to have a short or something they all didn’t come on then they did. It took the oven 20 just to preheat. We went at Christmas time and had to take our own Christmas tree and decorations

Home was spacious but still cute and cozy. There were five of us so we all enjoyed our own rooms. Evening soaks in the hot tub were a favorite with the group - it was a beautiful view. 😊

Perfect House for a family trip

This home was just about perfect for a girls weekend. The location is beautiful, peaceful with a fantastic view of the mountains. It is located about 20min from the great small town of Black Mountain and about 30 min from the shops, restaurants and things to do in downtown Asheville. Many trails for hiking around the area (most requires driving to). The house itself was a great set up with 5 bedrooms, great living space area for gathering and a large, well stocked kitchen. We spend most of our time on the front deck with a fabulous view. There were a few small issues that came up in our stay but Vacasa was ver responsive and addressed the problems in a timely manner. We would definitely come back for another stay.

My family and friends and I enjoyed a long weekend in September 2023 at Woodland Dreams. It was a beautiful home, well maintained, clean, and overall gorgeous. We also very much enjoyed the furnishings and linens. All the furniture and beds were new, and very comfortable. The linens were also very nice. We had a really great weekend and everyone enjoyed the hot tub. Thanks for a fun and comfortable stay!

The house was filthy. Dried red wine drips on counters, grease and fingerprints on all appliances, crumbs on surfaces, dried food in the oven and on the stove, floors were unswept and rugs were not vacuumed, black mold on master shower walls, mold on curtain liners in other bathrooms, hot tub was untreated - water was green and brackish with debris and bobby pins floating in it, end tables had sticky residue from glasses, all outdoor areas had been neglected, two screen doors were ripped and broken and driveway light fixtures were smashed. This was a Vacasa property and they were unsympathetic when contacted. It was supposed to be a “no pet” property but we saw dog bowls and swept up dog hair. We had to clean the property ourselves to make it habitable for our children and grandchildren. This property has been severely neglected.

The house definitely had all the comforts of home. Plenty of space to spread out. Very clean and jacuzzi was a delight! If anything, temperature control was a little off, basement very cold and upstairs 2nd floor bedroom was quite warm. Plenty of fans to circulate the air and keep things comfy. The view is beautiful and the yoga room got lots of use. (It would be nice to have mood lighting in there.) We suggest listening the pots, pans etc on the site for foodie folks like us who like to cook.

Great spring break getaway
The house is very comfortable and roomy with lots of amenities. The bed in the upstairs suite is so comfy. We got lots of good rest while we were there and spent the days adventuring in the mountains. The teens loved having their own space on the lower level with the game room and hot tub. Perfect for a trip with family and friends.

Stunning mountain home with picturesque views and incredible amenities!!!
We LOVED our stay at Woodland Dreams. From arrival to departure, the homeowners have thought of everything. The home is gorgeous, extremely clean, well stocked, and set up perfectly for a multi-family or large family getaway. You could truly come to this home with nothing but your suitcase! Thank you so much to the hosts for making our weekend so enjoyable. We will absolutely recommend this home to friends and hope to return each year!!

Great place for multiple families to meet
We had 3 families meet for Christmas and we all had plenty of space. The pool table and dart board were great for the kids. Some took advantage of the gym and we all enjoyed the hot tub.

Beautiful cabin in the mountains the whole family can enjoy!
Went with our family of 5 and another family of 5. Kids were all 5 and under. The house was older , but nicely remodeled and all the decor was so beautiful and cozy! We spent the long weekend there to bring in the New Year! We enjoyed the Hot tub, fire pit, pool table, fully stocked kitchen, sound system, and beautiful views! Only complaint would be how far it actually was from some places in Asheville we wanted to visit. Otherwise, Black Mountain was much closer, and such a cute little town. If you are on the fence about this place book it now, because the pictures do not do much justice!

Wonderful Christmas Destination
Great space for 3 families to meet. Plenty of space for all to have their own space and be comfortable. Hot tub was great after hiking. Pool table kept the kids entertained. Didn't get a chance to use the firepit b/c it was quite cold, but looked like a nice space. We appreciated the winter/Christmas decorations to set the tone for our family gathering. And the welcome note and gift was a nice touch. Thank you!

Incredible house in the mountains!!
The home, location and views surpassed our expectations. Our group of 10 had plenty of room for sleeping and living. I can’t say enough good things about our stay. The kitchen is fully stocked. There are multiple decks, a large hot tub and fire pit. There are 2 fireplaces on each level. Highly recommend. We hope to come back!

Modern Luxury in the Mountains
This house in the North Carolina mountains was everything we could have asked for heading into our friend's Bachelorette weekend. We comfortably fit 10 and would have stayed longer if we could. The mountain view (especially with the fall foliage) was to die for, the hot tub was relaxing, and the whole place was decorated to perfection. If only we had an occasion to use the adorable gym! The location was great for a weekend in the mountains. Just be aware that downtown Asheville is a bit of a trek so, while you can get there for a daytime activity or night out, it's not an easy trip in and out and Ubers are scarce. Would recommend this stay 10x over and the property managers made communication easy.

This home was fantastic for our two family stay. The location was awesome and we enjoyed the views that came with it. The kids really loved the bunk beds room and the parents loved the fire pit and hot tub. Bonus points for availability of Instacart so we could get groceries delivered while we had a drink and hung on the porch. We had a great time and will be back for sure!
