Our 6 bedroom, 4 bath, home features: a large game room w/ pool table, dining room, a “screen room” to watch your favorite movies or just relax, a reading nook for those quiet moments, LED TVs with streaming video in many of the rooms, forced air heating and air conditioning throughout, outdoor spacious patios, built-in BBQ, ping pong table & corn hole, sitting areas with chaise lounges, perfect for sunbathing and enjoying the spectacular views. Beyond the patios are a pool, huge hot tub, gas fire pit, horseshoes, a pond, and acres and acres of places to explore or just run around. Pool, hot tub, and fire pit are new and do not show in all the photos. And don’t forget to have some fun in the “Hangar” across the property, where you can shoot some hoops, play shuffleboard, or maybe a little hopscotch or 4square. This property was absolutely stunning! We did have a few issues with electronic related stuff but the property manager was super responsive and helpful. The bedrooms are spacious and there is plenty of room inside to have fun if the outdoors aren't accessible due to weather. The outdoors however are just spectacular! The pond was loaded with frogs the kids were having so much fun catching and the pool and hot tub were super spacious. I loved hopping in the hot tub in the morning and enjoying the views while sipping on my coffee. It was such a relaxing weekend and I hope to visit again soon.

Our family loved our stay! The house is amazing and huge! There was so much to do on the property The outside does have a lot of the natural vegetation, which includes some stickers and burrs but we were careful to check the dog throughout the day and would recommend some kind of shoe to go out to the pool. We walked down to the river and it was amazingly overgrown with blackberries. We had several deer visit the property during our stay. We would definitely stay again. Very relaxing trip and opportunity to reconnect with family.

Our family stayed here during Father's Day weekend and we loved every moment of it. Owner was very responsive for issues and questions. This place had so many things to do that we wished we had more time. Owner kept the place very clean and well stocked. They had almost anything you could imagine. The kids loved the pool and the adults enjoyed the hot tub. There were plenty of pool towels for every day which was appreciated. The morning scenary was such a wonderful sight while sipping coffee outside. There was also a separate area for basketball, darts, chess, etc. and we enjoyed it as well. Definitely a lot of things to enjoy which we will definitely come back again. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful place!

Quail Meadows Ranch exceeded our expectations! The house and property were stunning. There was so much to do and see. We especially loved cooking in the kitchen and we all took note that it was equipped with everything we needed. We also loved the big fireplace during our rainy stay. Our recent trip to Quail Meadow Ranch was an excellent opportunity to relax and connect with family. During our stay, we were amazed with the plethora of activities available. The pictures didn’t begin to show the beauty of the house. It was an amazing house with lots of room for a larger family to spread out. The owner has thought about all the details to make your trip, enjoyable, right down to conditioner and shampoo in the shower along with a fully stocked kitchen with spices, oil, plastic wrap, and everything you could imagine to cook your meals. Our kids loved the hanger, and it was a great spot for them to migrate to during the day to enjoy darts, soccer, shuffleboard, basketball, and more. For adults, the place really has a serene location And I would be remiss if I did not mention the absolutely amazing and huge hot tub!!! Thank you for the opportunity to create lasting memories with our family.

This house was exceptional we had family ages 13 mo the to 78 and everyone loved it. There was so much space to spread out both inside and outside. Everyone loved the spa and outdoor games. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful home, fully stocked, and property. Large house with enough for everyone to do what they wanted without imposing on others in the group, e.g., sports on one tv while others could watch whatever on another tv, pool table upstairs, along with games so nobody downstairs was disturbed. Seven bedrooms so everyone could have privacy if desired. Huge kitchen allowed many cooks to prepare Thanksgiving dinner without a hitch. Overall, a wonderful place to rent!

We stayed here with our family (11 Adults & 1 Child) as a "home base" for a family wedding being held at a venue 5 miles away. So, between wedding venue set up on Fri, Wedding on Sat, tear down at venue on Sun and checking out of this VRBO on Monday at 10am, we sadly spent very little time at the house. We were exhausted from wedding festivities so late nights and indoor activities also didn't happen for us. With that being said, none of us wanted to leave and all wished we could come back and stay a good 4-5 days so we could really enjoy all this home has to offer!
Given nothing is perfect, I would say to "light sleepers" that this home does echo due to all the solid surfaces. You do hear every footstep in the hallways. We slept in downstairs bedroom(s) and could also hear every footstep happening upstairs while people walked in their rooms.
This home would make a great home base for a Wine Tasting weekend as well. So many wineries close by.
Awesome for large families, extended family gatherings and friends. A ton of seating options outside, great pool, gas firepit, and the huge spa is an amazing feature. Inside pool table & TV room, outside you have ping/pong, corn hole, horseshoes and in hanger building you have basketball, floor chess, darts and so much more.

What a great place to stay! Compared to other places I have stayed, this home was unique in that it had every single thing we needed to call it home. Each room had an alarm clock with charging outlets, TV, nightstand and walk in closet, and each bathroom had plenty of towels, blow dryers, soap and shampoo, etc. I have found that many homes on this platform will say they sleep over a dozen guests but in reality it's 3-4 rooms with double bunk beds and then everyone is stepping on each other in the mornings when they are getting ready...not this place! Plenty of room for all.
For those who like cooking, the kitchen is amazing. They had just about every utensil, baking pan, and knife that we could have needed to cook all our meals and make muffins for the kids. Only thing I saw missing was a standup mixer and a waffle maker but I can't really consider that a complaint as most places don't have those provided.
Also, for those of you who are worried about going somewhere remote, this place has a full solar setup with enough backup batteries to run the house for at least a few days....very comforting to see that when I have kids. There is also a Tesla charger!
Tons of open space, games for the kids, pool and hot tub...so much to do. Anyone with kids who like the outdoors or just want to escape for a few days, this is the place to be!

This property and house are everything you need for a family vacation. My sisters and I brought the whole family: spouses, parents, and 4 kids from 5-15. No one got bored with all the games and activities. The tranquil setting is perfect for hitting the reset button. If you go definitely take some time to star gaze- it was magical. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you need for cooking. Not to mention that the house itself is just beautifully detailed and laid out. Managed to make a large space feel cozy. The only thing I would fault the property for is the beds are not comfortable but I’d bring my own air mattress next time just to stay here again.

The house was very spacious for the whole family of 19. (especially the kitchen.) It is an elegant and well appointed luxurious log cabin. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen as most of us like to cooke. Eating outdoors was terrific for dinner. The hot summer day cooled off by then and the setting was serene, spacious and beautiful. The hot tub /spa was very large and the swimming pool was wonderful that they had the umbrella in the shallow end.
Minor complaint but annoying: a second sink and another dishwasher would have helped our big group. Since we had to wash by hand we needed more dish towels and there were only three. Also there was only one sponge and only a few rolls of paper towel Easy to remedy by purchasing ourselves. Really not an issue but inconvenient.

It’s so spacious and the beautiful home fits in the landscape and had everything we needed! The pool and spa during the day and stargazing at night was spectacular. There are so many different things to do the adults enjoyed walks in the morning and the kids play in the game room at the back of the property, the afternoon were spent in the pool or the spa.
One cool thing we got to see and i think we got lucky was to see a shoting start in the evening.
We love everything this house got to offer and the way they includes all the necessary for ours pet's like blankets, towels and bowls for there food.

We had a nice relaxing stay to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. The kids and grown ups had a great time. The place is amazing with plenty of activities inside and out. We spent a weekend at Quail Meadows Ranch with a group of 11 friends to celebrate my partners 30th and this property exceeded every possible expectation. It was incredibly clean, stocked with everything we needed and more, had more than enough space for everyone to spread out and do what they wanted throughout the weekend, had beds for everyone so no one was stuck sleeping on a couch, and was incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The pictures on the listing don’t do this property any justice as it’s far more amazing in person. The host was very responsive and helpful, and the available guides answered any other questions we may have had throughout the weekend.
My partner and I are planning on bringing some of our family together for a small reunion and peaceful retreat, and we’ll definitely be booking this property again in the near future. Quail Meadows Ranch immediately made it to the top of our list for future trips.

We felt so welcome. Sitting in the hot tub, below the evening stars was the perfect way to ring in the new year. The home is stunning, spacious, beautifully built and cared for. Quail Meadows was the perfect getaway for our extended family to celebrate the Christmas weekend. The kitchen was beautiful and perfect for large family meals. All the other rooms were equally beautiful and unique. Everyone loved the pool table, the fire pit, the hot tub and all the other games available. The landscape was impressive and we could go on long walks without even leaving the property. A special and memorable holiday for all of us!

This is an ideal facility/home for smaller family gatherings or business meetings. We were 3 couples and 6 children 8-16 years and it was perfect. There are many opportunities on the property and in the area for a number of recreations. There are numerous small wineries in the immediate area. Sutter Creek and Amador City are little towns to visit and only one-half hour or so away. Our family really enjoyed the outdoor hot-tub and pool, indoor basketball court, and pool table.

This home far surpassed any expectation we had prior to arriving. The home had everything we could have dreamed of for guests of all ages to enjoy! The kids had the best time and never left the property; playing in the yard, hot tub, the "hanger" and paint ball area. The adults enjoyed the local trails mountain bike riding, hiking and of course wine tasting. The kitchen was as impressive as the rest of the property, we cooked EVERY meal and the kitchen had everything we needed. We can't wait to go back.

This place is like having your own private ski lodge all to yourselves! We were getting married nearby so the entire wedding party stayed here for a few days and it was so nice that it felt like having a wedding and a honeymoon at the same time. ...Where do I even start? Not only is the place perfect for kids - with tons of games and plenty of space to run free - but it's also built for relaxation for adults with a beautiful pool, hot tub, fire pit, & lounge chairs. And it was also just perfect for me, as I'm a big fan of the log-cabin-in-the-Rockies style.
I've been to a lot of rentals and this one wins for most attention to detail. The kitchen was bursting with everything you needed to cook, the cabinets full of towels, and actual games in the game room. Even a house speaker system you could hook you phone to and play music. Just chock full of incredibly thoughtful touches (my personal favorite are the umbrellas IN the pool). As is natural with large gatherings, people tended to congregate in the kitchen, and oh, what a kitchen it was. The giant stove range provides a beautiful centerpiece and the pull out freezers were convenient and fun conversation starters. We also chose this place because we wanted our guests to be able to socially distance if they wanted to, and boy were they able to. There was so much space that you could avoid people completely and not leave the house! (And even though it says 6 bedrooms, you can count the TV room as a 7th bedroom bc it has its own bathroom!)
There is a caretaker who lives on the property and she was nothing but helpful. We tried to have some wedding flowers delivered to the property and due to a mixup they were delivered to her house instead. She graciously walked them over and left them at the house for us multiple times (thank you Tara!!). And even though she "lives on the property", the property is so big you can't even see her house.
We also paid the extra event fee to hold a post-wedding gathering here, and while there are a number of (understandable) hoops you have to jump through (they require you to rent a portable bathroom unit so you don't overload their septic tank, and a parking valet so your guests don't park all crazy), it is WELL worth it. This place is simply awesome for entertaining. Our families all had an absolute blast and said it was the most impressive rental they'd ever seen. Can't recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back. Maybe for our anniversary :)

A gorgeous, spacious home clearly designed and built by someone with an incredible aesthetic gift and love of the outdoors. The natural beauty of the surroundings follows you inside and comfort abounds everywhere you look, whether in small sitting nooks, visiting in the kitchen, catching up on your reading in the living room, enjoying a game of pool and conversation upstairs, or sitting atop a nearby hill taking in the pervading peace and beauty of the land. We had a group of 14 and took advantage of all the fantastic amenities at the home, especially enjoying the incredibly well equipped kitchen. Although there really is no good reason to leave the property during your stay, if you enjoy wine, you can drive through the rolling hills filled with vineyards and superb wineries for days and never run out of new places to try. There are certainly plenty of local places of interest, but I'd recommend spending your time at Quail Meadows. It is exquisite. Our experience there was excellent from start to finish. If I could complain about anything, it would be the fact that we had to leave. Looking very forward to future visits.

This property is beautiful and has all of the amenities you could want. The beds are comfortable, the showers are great, the kitchen is amazing, and there was enough room for 15 of us to be comfortable and have our own space. There are just a few things I wish I had known before booking:
- A property manager lives on site (between the house and the hangar)
- Neighbors are very sensitive to noise. My not terribly rowdy group was hanging out in the pool and we received a noise complaint (just our voices, no amplified music) from a neighbor who lives 1/4 mile away while the sun was still out, just a couple of hours after we checked in. That was rather disappointing, given the cost of the property and the fact that it has 32+ acres all to itself.
- The pond water is dyed. The property manager said that its safe to swim in...but my group chose not to.
- The HVAC system in the garage was making a good deal of noise. The folks staying in the bedroom next to the garage had to turn it off at night so they could sleep.
- The hot tub wasn't working. The property manager let us know that this may be the case, so not a huge disappointment. Just putting this here in case something needs to be fixed.
