About this house rental

Located in the cool mountains of Flagstaff, this two-story home is conveniently situated on Aspen Valley Country Club. The unique layout offers an upstairs on the ground level and a walkout basement allows for easy access to the open, non-fenced backyard. This 5 bedroom, 3 bath home backs a forested meadow along the 11th fairway of the private Aspen Valley Golf Course.

Enjoy peaceful views of the meadow or relax in one of two great rooms. Kids big and small will love the downstairs family room with a pool table, dart board, games, and a second TV to watch movies and shows galore. The upstairs great room has a wood-burning fireplace and a TV. Enjoy a fire while watching a movie or reading a book. Our goal is for total relaxation.
With close proximity to Downtown Flagstaff, great restaurants and attractions are within a short drive. Santa's Workshop is less than 2 miles away. The same goes for the Flagstaff Aquatic Center with indoor lazy river and waterslides.

We had a fabulous long ski weekend in this home. Spacious and extremely comfortable for 5 adult kids and mom and dad. The home sits on a beautiful golf course and the deck and views are great. The home is situated nicely in the middle of everything but you still feel tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay at this home again, thank you!

Great layout for our 9 person family. Plenty of space, clean, quiet property. Had everything we needed for sleeping and cooking meals. Fireplace was great. Wonderful experience. Comminication with host was smooth with quick reaponses.

We selected this property based on its desirable location in a lovely subdivision of similar homes on large, pine-filled lots. The home was exactly as described in the listing. Our multi-generation family had ample room for privacy, as well as large common areas for dining and gaming. The house is a very easy, short drive to downtown Flagstaff, and the neighborhood itself is a delight for long, hilly walks.

This is a fantastic home with lots of room. The house was very clean and comfortable. There are plenty of dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large and there is plenty of hot water and good water pressure. We loved having a full size crib for our 18 month old. We watched deer from the wonder deck almost every morning and evening. We also saw a Fox in the neighbor’s yard. The house is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood but still feels very private. Everything was perfect for our 4 generation family vacation. We loved taking the train to the Grand Canyon, fishing in Sedona, and Lee’s Ferry, riding through the lava fields, visiting the Pueblo house sites, and seeing the snow capped mountains nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

The home was very clean, extremely spacious, and. easily accessible from local highways. This location was ideal as a launching point to explore northern Arizona for two families with teens. We really enjoyed the dartboard, pool table and extra space in the basement for the kids to have their own space. While in the area we visited the Grand Canyon, Montezuma’s Castle National Monument, Bearizona, Horsehoe Bend, Antelope Canyon and Sedona during our four night stay. I would strongly consider returning to this property.

This is our second year at HoofHaus for our annual family vacation. This year was even more incredible than the last! The hosts are so helpful and accommodating, the place is amazing and close to everything and we got a ton of fresh snow during our stay! We will be back next year for sure. Thanks Jesse and Kelly for everything once again

This house is first class and great for family and friends. It has five bedrooms. Four have king sized beds and the fifth has two trundle beds. The kitchen is well equipped and is stocked with a variety of spices. The dining room table can seat eight. Through the sliding glass doors is an outside deck that overlooks the woods. It has a table that can seat six more. The entry level also has a large living room with a TV and fireplace. Downstairs is a large game room. It also has a large TV and pool table. The fourth bedroom and kids’ bunk is on this level. We would like to stay here again.

The house was spacious enough for all of us with comfortable beds.. Very nice. The only thing I didn’t like was that there wasn’t enough flatware. We had to go out and buy some for Thanksgiving dinner.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience, the house was clean and well equipped, our hosts were excellent communicators and very accommodating and it was a great location near the golf course. This house is perfect for families with (older) kids as there is a separate area downstairs with plenty of room for the kids to enjoy themselves and we would definitely recommend for a family trip.

My adult children came up for the weekend to remember my husband’s (their Dad) 1 yr passing. We met at NAU and Flagstaff has a very special place in our heart/memories. The home was as described! Big comfortable beds and rooms, loved the pool table down stairs and the neighborhood was convenient and quiet. We enjoyed coffee on the deck and saw several deer in the back meadow. We would highly recommend staying here. Easy location to get around town and other N.Az activities! Communication with the owners also were easy & prompt. Thank you Kelly and Jesse!!!

We had a great stay at a fantastic property. This was a perfect basecamp for our family vacation. The property is beautiful and with fresh snow it was even better. The large open floorpan accommodated family meals and the downstairs game room was perfect when we wanted to spread out. The kitchen was well supplied and we were able to make all our meals there. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. There were several days of snow and we were thankful for the garage. We were able to fit a minivan and GMC Acadia but it was really tight. Everybody says "Can we come back next year?"

SoE happy we booked the Hoofhaus for our annual trip! We have a huge family and this house fit us all comfortably. There is so much room for everyone. Just a couple miles away from downtown and minutes away from hiking trails etc. The hosts were super responsive and we had everything we could’ve ever needed right on site! We will be back next year for sure!

We had such an amazing time and really enjoyed our stay! Very clean, nice bathrooms, great entertainment set up, comfortable beds, and has everything you would need! Owners were awesome and very nice! Answered all questions and very supportive of our family trip. Location was perfect in having the outdoor cabin setting with a nice patio to lookout for deer or the stars at night but also not too far out from stores. Also perfect distance to some great places like Bearizona, Williams, and the Grand Canyon so we were able to fit a lot in then come back and enjoy spending quality time as a family playing games and watching movies. Highly recommend!

The house and property were amazing! The house was very comfortable and provided easy access to the downtown area, hiking trails, and the country club area. The bottom level of the house has 2 bunk beds for kids and a game room with pool table and entertainment center. All the bedrooms were spacious and have new beds. We loved seeing the deer roam through the backyard every day. And the owners communicated regularly and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend for 1 or 2 families as it has plenty of bedrooms and living space.
