About this apartment rental

My wife Stacy renovated a space on Broad Street in lovely downtown Rome. The space has 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom is on the main floor of the loft with two bedrooms furnished with full sized bunk beds made from black walnut. The bunk beds have mattresses:)

There are 3 separate living areas: The first is the forward living room facing Broad Street. This space is open to the dining area and an open galley kitchen; The second, is at the rear of the loft. There is a spiral staircase from that area up to the bunk bed rooms which are suspended above the rear living room. Third, is a covered cedar cabana over the garage with a gas fireplace.

The entrance for the space is at the rear off 1st street. There is parking for 3 cars and an enclosed garage.

A Courtyard separates the garage and cabana space from the primary loft.

The loft has 3 bedrooms, sleeps up to 6. There are 2.5 baths (one with a full tub) both full baths have walk in showers.

Excellent! This loft is much better in person than in pictures. We live in Rome and rented this for the bridesmaids. It was perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. However, it was a little warm upstairs even after turning the thermostat down. Another fan or larger fan would have been nice. Otherwise very accommodating and nicely decorated. Loved the kitchen!

This property is perfect! We used it to get the bridal party ready for our wedding and for my husband and I to stay the night of the wedding. It was big enough for all of us to sleep cozy and get ready AND it was a very nice home to come to after the wedding. Parking is tight, but we were able to make it work by using the pay to park lot right down from the loft. 10/10 recommend.

In town for a wedding and you could not have dreamed of a better place. Beautiful vintage/nostalgic home. The perfect location for enjoying any event in or near Rome. Multi use space (dining, socializing, relaxing both in and outside). Perfect location for pictures. Absolutely incredible host. Have no fear!

The loft is really cool! Right downtown and super close to everything we did. We really enjoyed the patio and fireplace. Very unique layout. Bar downstairs is loud in front living area but there is another place to hang out in the back by the other bedrooms and the patio is great out back. A little difficult to find by car. Read instructions well. Plenty of parking for the three cars we had. Owner is super helpful and quick with replies.

This was the most amazing place we have ever stayed in. Most of our group works in the vacation rental industry and we were so thrilled with this property. Definitely planning our next stay. The owner was great.

This property offers so much! A unique, well furnished and awesome place plus the location to all that Rome has to offer is perfect. We were in town for Berry College events but were able to enjoy the town of Rome as well. The outdoor seating area, fireplace, television were a great place to relax and enjoy each other's company.

We had a very pleasant stay at the downtown loft. The space is very inviting, spacious, and fun. The kitchen is top-notch. The outdoor area is a wonderful extension to the living space. There were areas to spread out, work, enjoy a movie, prepare and enjoy a nice meal. There are lots of places to sleep and relax, bathrooms for all. The only downside for us was getting blocked into the garage in the corner of the parking lot and the establishment downstairs. There was an HVAC truck blocking us in one morning and it was quite a hassle to get them to move and let us out. We also found it very difficult to get in and out when the assigned parking spot closest to the garage was occupied. The establishment downstairs was a complete nuisance. Starting on Thursday night (not just Friday and Saturday), we heard the blaring music, felt the bumping, and enduring the shouting until the wee hours of the morning. They extended their festivities onto the sidewalk - right under the lovely windows of the loft. Drinking, shouting, and smoking. We loved this location and the loft but most likely would not stay here again as we are light sleepers and the bar downstairs left us all exhausted.

This is our third time at the property and it is always such a joy. Eclectic but pragmatic in furnishings and accessibility. Great location to restaurants and to the Rome Tennis Center. Will definitely stay again.

This property is AWESOME! Lovely, romantic, practical, and inviting indoor and outdoor space, easily accessible to everything Rome has to offer! This property is delightful to the eye. It is luxurious and magical, If headed to Rome, head to this loft. It surpasses any hotel experience. Efficient check in and check out procedures, private parking, and the most amazing views of the city. Simply the best!

The property was very unique. We all loved the set up, the courtyard and the large balcony. We were there for a tennis tournament and we all wished we had more time to be there and enjoy it all. The downtown location is perfect in terms of convenience and it's surrounded by shops and restaurants. The reviews stated that it was quiet. That was one of the reasons I chose it. Unfortunately, it was not. There is a club or bar next door so every night you could hear all of it especially in the master bedroom.

My family and I stayed for several days for my daughter’s wedding close by. Every detail in this property has been thought of from design to comfort. The rooms are spacious and decorated beautifully. We enjoyed the additional covered area outside with TV and the quaint courtyard between the garage and entrance. If you are looking for a convenient location with charming elegance look no further. We will definitely make plans to return.

Every detail was thought out on this property. Beautiful choices everywhere: paint colors, wall textures, lighting and furnishings compliment the historic building. It was a real treat to be able to spend time here. Location is perfect, in the heart of downtown surrounded by restaurants. I hope to come back on my next trip to Georgia.

We absolutely loved staying here! The location was excellent and the house was beautiful! Our family was so impressed with this place. The kids loved the spriral staircases and bunk rooms. We loved the elegant master suite. The kitchen was so nice with professional appliances and there was plenty of room for our rehearsal dinner.

We were SO pleased with this property! The pictures couldn’t capture just how fun and cool this property was! We came into Rome for a tennis tournament and so thankful we found this gem! It was in the heart of town, we walked everywhere downtown, and it was only 10min it’s from Rome Tennis Center or Berry College. You will be so happy you stayed here! Fantastic property owners and great communication throughout the stay.

Wow! This loft is a find! Beautifully renovated, right in the heart of downtown Rome. One of the most tastefully decorated places we've ever stayed. Gorgeous furnishing and comfortable beds. The lovely courtyard and outdoor porch were ideal for our quick getaway. We only wish we could've stayed longer. Jule was terrific to work with and gave great recs on where to dine. 100% recommend!

We attended a wedding at Berry College on a Saturday afternoon. Rather than stay at a hotel I thought it would be fun to try and find somewhere my boyfriend and his adult sons and girlfriends could share. The location is a short drive from the college. The Loft was absolutely gorgeous! We all enjoyed sitting outside area watching TV and visiting . In the morning we all loved sitting around the large dining table. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely be back!

My husband and I enjoyed two nights here. The location was fabulous for restaurants and shopping as well as a nice long walk long the 3 rivers area. Had everything we needed for cooking as well. We were 5-7 min from the Berry College campus which we were in town for. I hope to come back.

Communication with the owner was prompt and helpful. The loft is absolutely beautiful. We fell the world away yet close to everything we needed. Very organized space and owners have thought of everything we could need. Friends that joined us after dinner to see the space have already asked for the link to book a weekend for themselves!

This was my family’s first outing in two years since the pandemic and our first time using Vrbo and staying in a property. We would stay there again or in other properties if they are as nice as this one.
