Perfect little cottage, fantastic for the dogs and great location for walking.
Apologies, we did break a glass.
We loved it difficult to find room for improvement it had everything we needed.
The only thing for us would be as dogs are not allowed upstairs a gate or safety gate at the bottom would be great as ours are used to having the run of the house.
It wasn’t a problem we improvised and put the fire guard across.

I actually loved everything about the property, only small issue i had was the road into the property. Very twisting road for a few miles.

Lovely location and well cottage was lovely everything you could think of in it there was a welcome pack milk in the fridge we couldn’t fault it
Nothing really a non stick frying pan would have been good as I didn’t bring cooking oil for bacon in the morning

Location was excellent.
Things the family didn’t like
-dark decor
-not much private outdoor space, felt it was overlooked

Fantastic location. The cottage was larger than expected well equipped and spotlessly clean. Shower was great with brilliant water pressure and WIFI also good.
The mattresses were a bit hard for my liking but everything else was fantastic.

We were self catering and found the cottage had everything we needed. it was a bit dated in places although we found adequate and warm enough for us . The bedroom door couldn't be opened fully as it was door close to the wall.

Lovely and comfortable. Perfect location, clean and tidy. TV and WiFi worked fine and a good hot shower. Loved the teabags and milk on arrival too 😁
Nothing to complain about at all..... but you should add an oven pizza tray and a decent chopping board to the kitchen. 🙂

Great location, all we needed.
Carpets were a little tired and dirty, probably from people being out walking. We gave it a hoover but the marks were in the carpet.

Very well equipped, tastefully decorated. Ideal for our large family Easter get together
Appreciate this is not in your hands, but the way the neighbours (property to the east) just let their dogs roam freely around pooing and not bothering to clear up is disgusting. I would encourage you to speak with them as it's unacceptable.. We came out on each morning to see their dogs walking out having left their mess within the Wetton Barns. On one occasion I saw the daughter of the neighbours and told her, even offered her a poo bag but she just ignored.

good location. Open fire a real bonus.
the shower over the bath needed attention as water ran onto the floor. The curtains in both bedrooms were really very old and definitely needed replacing. In the twin bedroom they did not even cover all the window and were falling off the rails.

It was a stunning property and imacculate!
We loved it.

Comfortable and great courtyard for sitting in.
Too far off the beaten track.

Perfect setting for a group celebration. Comfortable facilities and thoughtful amenities. Beautiful barn conversions.
The matresses were a little worn and the bathrooms needed a little tlc.

Absolutely beautiful cottage and surroundings! We loved it here! Wish we booked it for longer.

Smoothness from payment to arrival was great.. Wi Fi was speedy, Spacious cottage with high ceilings upper floor, Shower worked a treat, toilet seat was loose. Felt clean and looked clean the welcome box had the basic things and came in handy, This cottage really is out the way a hidden treat so was the Royal Oak pub and it’s food.. No shops nearby we used Sainsburys in Leek which was great… Logs can be purchased in Alstonefield, Great value for money..
Wet dog smell we thought was quite overpowering, We fully understood that this is a Pet friendly rent and have stayed in many other pet friendly places but this one was quite strong smelling, The bathroom skirting board is in need of a simple repair, The first night we stayed we had loud banging coming from the pipe work connected to the heating so much so it was a rough nights sleep.. We went for breakfast at 8am and on return there weren’t two plumbers who asked to enter to sort out the banging, the previous renter had highlighted this to the property’s manager… They stopped the banging but left us without much needed heating! We had to buy extra logs for heating…

Location was excellent, short drives to Monsal, Tissington trails and Dovedale. Very quiet location good pub almost opposite. Key collection easy.
Couldn’t find a corkscrew 😂
