The view was great and the hospitality

It was nice to stay in this authentic mountain house with many historical artefacts inside. Great terraces, good beds and well equipped kitchen. We found fresh eggs on the table and a home made cake.

It is a very old authentic mountain house, the welcoming family has lived there for decades and everything is made with love. nice to submerge yourself in the previous century, very refreshing. Fully equipped kitchen, fireplace and spacious veranda with barbecue facilities overlooking the mountains - we enjoyed our stay very much! Nice stepped well-groomed little garden attached to the house that my kids liked a lot.
Owner has met us at the church and showed the way to the property, we wouldn't be able to get there by ourselves for sure, sometimes road is very steep as usual for mountain villages in Cyprus.
Definitely recommended for getaway from the city!

The calmness and tranquility of the surroundings provided a much-needed respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The property itself exuded an inviting atmosphere, with well-maintained grounds and thoughtfully designed interiors. The attention to detail in every aspect of the property was evident, from the comfortable and tastefully decorated rooms to the peaceful outdoor spaces where one could unwind and connect with nature. From the moment we arrived, the host welcomed us with warmth and understanding, as we had encountered delays and arrived later than expected. His kindness and flexibility made us feel instantly at ease. To add to the charm of our stay, the host's father graciously made us delicious coffee and engaged us in delightful conversations. His genuine friendliness and hospitality created a warm and inviting atmosphere that enhanced our overall experience. The combination of a serene location, a welcoming host, and the genuine kindness of his father truly made our stay unforgettable. I highly recommend this property for those seeking a peaceful retreat where genuine hospitality and tranquility converge.

An old traditional village house, beautifully renovated and originally decorated. It is located right in the heart of the mountains, which adds to the authentic experience.
The house is fully equipped with everything you might need, including smart TV in the living room with free stream service – Great!
The host was very responsive, always available, and offered useful advises.
There is a small local grocery store three minutes’ walk from the house – very useful.
It is impossible to understand from the given description the structure of the house, and some important details are missing. To begin with:
-- The highest floor (+1) is accessible from the yard. It includes a very nice living room with a TV, dining area with a table FOR 8 PEOPLE (extra folding table is available), excellent WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen and a large ventilated shower + toilet, its hot water provided by electrical boiler. THERE IS NO AIR-CONDITIONING ON THIS FLOOR. Heating is possible by a closed fire-place located at the center of the living room (extremely hot, careful with young children!), and is very efficient. We enjoyed it a lot but it does require a bit of effort to maintain.
-- Floor (0) is accessible from the yard, and is also connected to floor +1 by a VERY NARROW spiral staircase, which might be challenging for elderly people. It includes a large bedroom, a medium bedroom, a cozy living room and a small (unventilated…) toilet. Again, NO AIR-CONDITIONING ON THIS FLOOR as well, and it may be heated by an OPEN FIREPLACE. Very efficient and lovely, but young children must be kept safe!
Again, it is impossible to understand from the given description the structure of the house, and some important details are missing:
-- Next Floor is (-1), accessible ONLY VIA THE YARD. It includes two small bedrooms, another tiny bedroom, and a toilet + shower. Gas-heating system provides a lot of great hot water, and was basically the only shower we all used (11 of us). There is no WiFi in this floor (as might be understood from the house description). This floor is fully airconditioned (no fireplace), but barely enough to keep it hot during very cold nights, as the doors facing outside are quite basic and provide only limited isolation. We found this entire floor somewhat depressing, everything is VERY BASIC, certainly not as inviting compared to the two higher floors.
-- Most problematic is the electricity infrastructure: out of two air conditioners, water boiler for the shower on floor +1, kitchen oven, cattle, toaster and dishwasher, ONLY TWO CAN OPERATE SIMULTANEOUSLY. All attempts to operate any combination of three or more apparatus immediately caused the electricity power breaker to cut off (luckily it’s easy to put it back on by yourself).
-- Most of 10 beds are not very comfortable, though reasonable. Two more VERY BASIC folding beds are available.
-- Heating floors +1 and 0 will cost about 20Euro per day, depending of course on the weather. Wood is available for purchase in some villages but is NOT straightforward to obtain, so do take that it into your planning.
-- The road connecting the house to the street is VERY steep, and unexperienced drivers might find it challenging. Parking is a bit challenging as well, though manageable once you get the hang of it…

very cosy place, very sweet people.. pleasant staying with all the comforts

The house is absolutely spectacular. It really was giving the feeling of a Cypriot cultural museum. The beds were comfortable and we had extra pillows and blankets. The house’s fireplace is amazing, it was very warm and cozy inside. The hosts were really kind and helpful. They showed us around the house and shared some of the house’s history with us. They also recommended us a very nice tavern. We had a great time there!
The road to get to the house is kind of dangerous.
Two of the bedrooms and a bathroom are outside of the house, which did not bother us because we were a group of friends but for a family with children might be a little uncomfortable.

Very upset by dangerous track to house and decided to leave after two hours in daylight as did not want to use unsafe track to use unsafe drive on return to house, especially at night.
As indicated above track to house was very dangerous, very narrow, with hair-pin bends, hardly any lighting and a large pothole near house that would disable car.
See above dangerous access "road" (see map) showing no road, which forced us to leave house without staying scheduled two nights. Because of this major problem would request refund.
Also, house had many steps with spiral stairway from bedroom to shower on an upstairs floor; my wife who fears stairs was informed by hosts in advance that there were very few steps.

The house was beautiful. Kind of museum like. Photos and stuff from the past. 100 years old house has a lovely charm. But don’t get the number in your head as an old property. Has been renovated of course, but has retained the old mystique flavour. Lovely hosts, Mrs Eleni welcomed us with a home backed apple pie which was out of this world, while Mr. George explained the works of the house down to the last detail.
Communication with the property is swift and polite. Once you book, they will explain everything to you even at odd hours if needed.
Pet friendly. We brought our “second daughter” with us and she loved every minute.
I can go on and on but i think I posted the important stuff.
Thank you for a lovely escape from the city’s heat and noise.
Maybe to instal a blue light bug trap. In the evening, if you turn on the neon light above the table, attracts a lot of bugs. A blue light trap should fix the problem.
