This was a really unique and fun place that gave us a lovely Maine coast getaway experience. The dome is very comfortable and we enjoyed reading, playing games, and enjoying the view. The kitchen and bath in the tiny house were clean and tidy and worked well for our family of three. The location is lovely, with access to the water and lots of privacy. Everything was as described and communication was excellent. Definitely recommend!

This place is great if you want to get away, be near the coast, and have a rustic yet comfortable experience. My wife and I traveled with our three boys and a dog, and we had a great time. Only thing to note is that two nights isn’t enough. We brought food, drinks and a paddle board and it was all we needed. The host was super communicative and responsive. We had great weather, but we could’ve easily hunkered down if we needed to (I kinda wanted to try the Monopoly edition they provided).
We can’t wait for our next visit!

Property was very nice and lived up to photos. The area was very quiet and peaceful.

Too much communication with host. Notes and rules everywhere. Floor in dome has been damage by others and doesn’t look good. Kitchen is literally part of the bathroom. Don’t poop and bacon at the same time as there is no vent or fans or cooling or heat in this area. It’s kinda not ok with more than 2 people. It can sleep a lot but I wouldn’t and the bedding provided is not very high end also wake up text on last day from host at 7:30am. That was not cool.

The property is unique and peaceful. Amazing views and a quiet setting. We spotted eagles and owls. Easy drive to Bar Harbor and Schoodic Peninsula. Great place to stay to experience the beauty of Maine.

Myself and six other friends stayed here for two nights and had such a blast. The weather was intense our first night, but we stayed warm and cozy in the dome. The sunrise the next day and stars were incredible! Great communication with host and really beautiful property, looking forward to coming back!

The place was a beautiful dream. Me and my girlfriend loved it and would come back again. We were able to have coffe and wacth the sunset and sunrise. Got alot of alone time together, only an hour away form Acadia National Park. Would recommend to friends and family.

We had a great time. The kitchen and bathroom were so convenient. The bay was beautiful and we even saw seals during high tide. We had a large group so if you’re planning this trip make sure you’re very comfortable with them since there is little to no privacy. Overall, great time! Would stay again!

Had a relaxing time playing on the water with our inflatable SUPs. Spent time with the family playing board games in the dome house. Fun experience.

My family and I had a great time in the dome! The property has beautiful views of the bay and plenty of privacy. The space was more than big enough for the 4 of us and our dog. We explored the area with a couple of hikes: Birch Trail and Pigeon Hill. We went down to the rocky beach and the boys all went swimming (just bring some water shoes). We saw quite a few bald eagles along the waters edge too, very cool! We spent one rainy afternoon inside the dome playing games and relaxing. It was a wonderful retreat from the rain. The kitchen/bathroom/grill areas were well stocked with all the equipment we needed. The property managers were helpful and responsive. I highly recommend this rental!

Beautiful glamping spot on clay bay. Bring a kayak or some sort of hearty raft that you can utilize for the water since it is the rocky coast.

Fun time with friends! The dome was very spacious with 8 of us. Relaxing fires at night and kayaking during the day. Perfect weekend getaway.

This place was great! The dome was very spacious and a cool experience to sleep in. The kitchen/bathroom had everything we needed. The owner was super easy to deal with and was great with suggestions on where to shop and just to answer questions. The location was far enough from activity that we could see all the stars and enjoy the quiet and still close enough to Acadia for hiking.

Loved this property!! We were looking for something fun and unique that gave us a true Maine feel. The coast was great for my kids (8 & 10) to explore and we loved making campfires at night. A little over an hour to Acadia but so worth it to have a retreat from the crowds. We hope to return!

I had a 30th birthday and wanted to celebrate with all my friends that I made in college. I've always wanted to see bar harbor but have never had the chance to experience it, so I thought that a birthday trip would be the perfect reason. This is the ideal place if you want a getaway that feels like upscaled glamping.
They had everything we needed and more and were terrific at communicating quickly when we weren't certain about how to use things. I've always wanted to stay in a cabin with a glass wall where I could see the forest throughout the day from the comfort and safety of the inside and being able to wake up to that view was ethereal. It was hard for me to resist staying in all day because I wanted to explore Acadia, but the location was so cozy. If you ever decide to stay, I recommend staying for multiple nights so you can make the most of it all.
With a beautiful view and access to the bay from the location, a wonderful assembly of spots for eating and relaxing, and a scenic hour drive (give or take) accessibility from bar harbor and Acadia, it has left me wanting more!

This ocean front property was relaxing, quiet and exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen and bathroom were well appointed with everything we needed. The property is secluded, but not far from town for the grocery store and a few good restaurants. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Kim Nad Chris has made wonderful, clean, serene and a very romantic place in Maine. We enjoyed staying here, the dome is much better than what it looks in pictures. It is a perfect place to just hang out , our kids had fun. We could see the stars from our bed in the night, reminded me of of my childhood in India when we used to sleep in open during summers. This place is perfect for couple and family, we only stayed for 2 nights wished we had more time … may be next time !

Kimberly was an excellent host and the dome provided an unforgettable experience that we will cherish. The views, serenity, and unique accommodations were absolutely perfect. We cannot say enough good things about our stay. We would highly recommend this stay and although it was only two of us, we could easily see this being an equally incredible experience for a larger family. Thank you, Kimberly, for allowing us to stay in your home, as well as for your kindness and excellent communication.

We really enjoyed our stay! The property was clean and the trip was very relaxing. We loved sitting outside and enjoying the views while using the BBQ area and fire pit. The location is great, it's about an hour drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Very dog friendly! Kimberly was a fantastic host and ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. She was very responsive and a pleasure to speak with. We hope to be able to stay here in the future! Thank you Kimberly and Craig!

Wonderful location - very quiet and isolated, so very relaxing. The dome is certainly unique and very comfortable with a great view out of the large window section.
We spent a good deal of time in Bar Harbor and Acadia. While not “around the corner” definitely easy to get to in just over an hour.
Would surely recommend!

My Fianceé and I had a wonderful time. Great views, seclusion, the cozyness of the property. We had inside fires, outside fires, s'mores, quiet reading time, and plenty of stargazing time.
10/10 listing.
The property owners were very punctual with answering questions and even went to the length of getting my Fianceé and I small gifts because I planned on proposing to her while in Maine. Top class folks!

We loved our Yurt on the water, everything was thought out for your comfort and fun. Beautiful inside with a view of the water, spacious. The owners consistently communicated with me from the start, helpful with any questions for our stay and for the area. Thank you, Kim!

We stayed at this place while visiting Acadia, but the property was a destination itself. It was such a unique place - quiet and right on the water. Our family loved it. Really fun experience!

The place is unique and has so much to offer. We were a party of eight with 4 adults and 4 kids. The dome could accommodate all of us. One of the sofa beds wasn’t working however, the property owner Kim communicated this to us in advance and had arranged for bedding for all eight of us. I don’t feel that the place take anymore than eight people (adults/kids). The sofa bed that was working could accommodate only one adult. We had a bit of an issue with dome lock getting jammed often and had to figure it out during our checkin. Other than that the place is awesome. The firepit and the bbq grill were great addition. The sunrise is beautiful by the waterfront. We could also appreciate the difference between high tides and low tides. The kids had a lovely time. We cancelled our Ellsworth Motel in the last hour and booked this place. And it was totally worth it!! Every little detail was thought off including outdoor games, outdoor table to make pancakes, storage within the dome etc. Highly recommend for small groups. Acadia is about an hour’s drive. If you are planning to visit Acadia, highly recommend that you plan to spend a day exclusively in the property so you can enjoy all that it has to offer. Kim was extremely responsive to every little question. We had a hell of a time!

My kids said the dome experience made them forget they were on earth and thought they were on another planet. So quiet, only ocean, birds, wind, and stars. The beds were so comfortable, and you could see the Milky Way and the sunrise lying on the bed! The property was clean and comfortable. The communication was very smooth. The only downside probably could be too many mosquitos, but the OFF provided by the host was very helpful.

Our family of 5 enjoyed a lovely couple of nights at this unique place. The dome itself is cozy and inviting and the beds were quite comfortable. The hosts left detailed instructions for how to access and use many of the amenities, which was really helpful. There were many thoughtful touches, such as headlamps and lanterns left by the door for guests to use. The view of the bay is quite beautiful and we saw a fox running along the shoreline and an osprey and bald eagle soar out over the water. A great place to relax and enjoy nature but with the comforts of a real bed, shower, and kitchen.

Magical Experience
Our family really enjoyed our time in the Dome. I didn’t tell my children where we were staying and they were surprised and very excited when they entered the Dome. The beds were comfortable and all of the furnishings are very tasteful.
The sunrise is beautiful and can be seen from the oversized wall of windows. I would absolutely rent this property again and have already shared the listing with friends.

Amazing Retreat
I stayed here with my 2 year old, my husband, and my mother in law. The location was completely off the beaten bath, and the owner gave great directions how to get there. The stay was amazing! Everything I had hoped for and more. Cozy and beautiful! If you are looking to stay in nature but have the comforts of home, this is the place to be. A little further than expected from what we wanted to see in Acadia, but absolutely worth it. I can’t say enough great things. I hope to make this an annual trip and never want to stay in a traditional hotel again!!!
