Pouring down when we arrived but warm and welcoming inside. Tastefully decorated and well equipped but no shops in the village so take essentials with you. Ideally situated for the estuary and railway station to travel to either Carmarthen or Tenby. Lovely beaches in Llansteffan and Burry Port with Kidwelly all within easy reach.

Great little place opposite the local Pub . Nice walks along Stoney beach and up into village . Close to train station also which can be handy .

The cottage was just as advertised and had absolutely everything we needed. Jon had provided tea, coffee and gluten free cookies and lactose free milk specifically for my diet, so thoughtful. The cottage is small but was the right size for us and the bed was very comfortable as was having a luxurious bath in the evening. We loved the way the place was decorated with quirky lights, ornaments and lovely colours. Everyone we bumped into was friendly nd welcoming and for the weekend we went into Carmarthen, Tenby and Kidwelly. It was just exactly what we needed for our weekend visiting family.

Lovely dog friendly cottage in a perfect location for us, just a minute's walk to the beach. Jon was the perfect host and his communication was excellent with us throughout the booking process, especially when we had to rebook due to flooding in the village. The cottage is pretty and well equipped and the log burner was a welcome addition at the end of a busy day. Traeth coffee shop next to the train station was dog friendly and welcoming. The only negative which is nothing to do with the cottage is that the village currently has no shop so for even a pint of milk you need to drive 10mins to the nearest convenience store. Pembrey Country park and the beach there was fabulous, there are many walks very close to Ferryside and we were lucky enough to have lovely weather to explore. :)

The house was so clean and tidy, it was really close to the beach, we had everything we needed and there was a guide on things to do and where to eat. It was truly amazing.

The property was clean, bright and fresh. It was very comfortable and we felt immediately at home. Everything was in excellent condition. There was a lovely welcome pack for us and clear instructions as to how everything worked. We loved exploring this beautiful part of Wales and were grateful for information on local walks.
