Lovely breakfast - best I have had at a BnB
4.5
The location was perfect. Room was spotless. Hosts were superb. Breakfast was delicious - and the homemade biscuits and cake melted in the mouth. Dog was made very welcome, too. The best place we have stayed at in UK for years!
Was a bit noisy when guests moved in to room above, but mainly because they dragged chairs across the floor quite late at night, after we'd gone to sleep, which woke us up.

Rachel and Robert were fantastic hosts, we loved our stay. On arrival Rachel came out to meet us, and we had tea and homemade cake in the garden. Fabulous!
The room was really lovely and comfortable, with the homemade biscuits a lovely touch! Robert was on hand to tell us about the best places to visit, and even the best time to avoid the busy times.
We can't fault our stay, wonderful hosts, and a great spot to visit all the local tourist places. Thank you.

Rachel and Robert were amazing hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable. The location is good, only four miles from the lovely city of Wells, and four miles to the amazing Cheddar Gorge. The breakfast menu offered a huge choice, and Rachel bakes her home made bread fresh every day. Wonderful stay! Looking forward to the next time! Thank you both of you!

-Tastefully furnished
-Very clean
-Thoughtful details such as an extra bathroom light that didn't bring on the extractor fan, home made biscuits in the room & drink making facilities, cake & coffee offered on 1 day of our stay, biscuits provided for dog
-Good varied breakfast offered and pre-ordered meals for later if desired
-Robert was helpful in providing inspiration for dog walks
-Large bed with sockets and lights on either side
-Some toiletries provided
-Easy to park
-Easy access to outside to take dog out to do her toilet
-The floors are not carpeted including the room above. It was as if we had a herd of elephants doing the Riverdance above us each night and it went on for a long time. Very noisy and I got very poor sleep because of it so didn't have the best of stays. I am a light sleeper though so if you're the type to sleep through earthquakes this probably won't be an issue. A shame really as apart from that I could see how it got great reviews, it really is a pretty little place.
- Issues with heating, on the second night the room was like a furnace.
-Issues with shower, on first day the shower was great, good temperature and powerful. Second day the temperature would not change from scalding hot.

This was an excellent B&B with a spacious well appointed room with separate access. The breakfast was excellent. The friendly owners provided a useful extra service of a light supper or packed lunch.
Hard to find a fault with this well run bed & breakfast. A mat in the bathroom when getting out of the bath/shower would have been useful.

Breakfast was excellent, with a choice of everything you could think of, served up in a lovely light and airy room, with paintings from a local artist on the walls. We weren't rushed, our hosts were very chatty and friendly, and it was all very relaxed.
On returning from our local hike, we were given some tea and wonderful cake outside in the garden, which was a super touch.
No complaints at all.

Everything about the B@B was exceptional. Lovely couple, wonderful breakfasts and afternoon cakes. Rooms very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Very relaxing gardens and ample and sake parking.
Maybe slightly firmer pillows

The location, facilities and hospitality of the owners Rachel and Robert were all exceptional. We were met on arrival and shown to our room before being served hot drinks and cake. Breakfast was served in a light and airy room and the food was generous and very tasty. Everywhere was very clean. We are planning to revisit.

An absolute gem of a guest house. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Garden Room. This had the most comfortable bed, my husband slept like a baby. Home made biscuits and fresh milk was a bonus.
The bathroom even had the a bath which was great to be able to relax in after walking and climbing all day.
Breakfast was perfect, probably one of the best full English we have had.
Absolutely nothing, Everything was perfect.

The place was amazing the room was so clean, modern and airy. Our hosts were so friendly and went out of their way to make our stay fabulous down to the gorgeous home made cake and tea on our arrival and the homemade biscuits in our room and fresh milk daily for our drinks . Breakfast was soo nice and the egg royale was a five star breakfast !! We were so fortunate to have found such an amazing B & B and would definitely recommend it to family and friends .

As a vegetarian who can't eat wheat, I never expect much from the breakfast selection. But here, the breakfasts were exceptional. So much choice - I could have stayed 5 nights and had a different choice each morning. On top of the beautiful room, comfy bed and lovely hosts, it was wonderful.

The freshly cooked breakfasts were superb. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. A warm welcome, a cup of tea and a slice of homemade cake was offered on arrival and every day when returning to the B&B.
There was nothing to dislike!

The hosts were lovely: friendly, helpful and kind. The breakfast was ample and of good quality. I was offered tea and cake at no charge when I came in each afternoon and fresh milk for my room tea/coffee. The location is good and the garden is very pleasant to sit out in. The bedroom was spotlessly clean.
One bedroom window is quite easy to look through from the shared steps outside.

The hosts were so lovely and friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. There were homemade cookies in the room (which they kept topped up throughout our stay). When we got back from a day out they offered us tea and cake! The breakfasts were amazing - great choice of options and excellent quality food. Great attention to detail. The room was immaculate, the bed was big and comfy and the shower was hot and powerful. The location is a little village with access to lots of footpaths leading you out into the countryside - perfect for runners/walkers. I recommend Ebbor Gorge - the stunning little brother of Cheddar Gorge. The Westbury Inn pub just round the corner from the accommodation does lovely food. We loved our stay and are already planning to be back soon.
There was nothing we could fault about the property!
