Escape to our stunning lakefront retreat, the perfect getaway for families or groups seeking relaxation and fun. Our spacious three-level house boasts breathtaking open-lake views from all levels, including balconies on the first and second floors, each with two swings to enjoy the view in comfort.
Inside, you'll find an incredible game room; outside, we have plenty of water toys for all ages. With three living areas, four bedrooms, and one flexible bunk space, there's room for everyone to spread out and enjoy the lake life. Guests with boats can take advantage of the dedicated boat slip just for you.
We provide plenty of amenities to ensure an unforgettable stay, including six kayaks, a water mat, SUP, and life jackets, all available right by the water for your convenience. High-speed Wi-Fi and HDTVs in the living areas and bedrooms, along with four arcade games with over 30 titles, a pool table, and an air hockey table in the basement provide endless entertainment options.

The house had everything you could want in a lake house. Most amazing views, plenty of water activities! When some rain kept us indoors, we were entertained with board games, the arcade, and movies! Perfect house for a couple families to enjoy Lake Gaston!

Our 3rd year at Gaston and couldnt be happier with our stay at Group Therapy. With 6 adults and 5 kids, there was more than enough space for everyone. The house was very clean and the location was perfect with an amazing dock for us to slip our boat for the week. With almost all the necessities provided, You really needed nothing but a quick trip to the Food Lion, and youre set for your stay. We will likely be returning next year.

This was our first VRBO experience and we picked the perfect property. The house and property were amazing-just as pictured in the listing. So many fun things to do and the neighborhood was very peaceful. We rented a pontoon boat for a day and the boat dock was super easy to access. The water toys provided with the property were so much fun and the firepits were great in the evenings. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

We all had a fantastic stay at Group Therapy.
While the weather didn't cooperate we had lots of activities we could do in the ample indoor space while enjoying the AMAZING views.
The boat dock was fantastic as well. My 18' Bayliner had lots of room (plenty of space for a larger one) with lots of cleats to tie down and keep secure on windy days.
Of course the dock and the deck on top of the boat house had tons of space and seating to enjoy when the weather got warm enough (April can be hit or miss)
The host was very responsive with questions.
Would definitely book again in the future.

What can I say, everything was great but the weather, and owner stay was to short, but the next trip will be longer, only bad thing was one of the arcade game, the car racing game, everyone want to play, but may have been broke, still had great time playing the other ones. I would like to thank the host for letting us share their home with us. AGAIN EVERYTHING THING WAS GREAT!!!!!!!!!

Walking into the house was exactly how pictured. It was so warm and cozy that we all wish the stay was longer or didn't have to leave. We all enjoyed the more than enough space, fishing, the fire pit, and also the fully stocked kitchen that supplied all our needs (included the extra fridge in the game room. We all would like to rebook later this year. Thank you for the peaceful stay!

We had an incredible time at the lake this weekend! The house was perfect and had all the room and all the amenities we could have needed! The lake itself was beautiful and the kayaks and paddle boat were a huge bonus! Will definitely be back again.

As grandparents we love to love on our children and grands. This was the perfect place for us. Housing 3 couples 6 children 4-12. Cousy eat in kitchen for most of us. Plenty of seating. Great beds. The basement with old school video games pool table. What more could. you want. COLD A/C. New dock Kayaks. Best rental experience ever!!! Do not hesitate to bring a big family. So much to do. Would have booked for additional days if kids didn't have school.

This house was perfect for our family and our annual Labor Day lake trip. It was conveniently located on the lake and had an abundance of on-site water “toys” and activities to keep us busy when not on the water.
We loved the house and highly recommend it as some of the “shortcomings” are far exceeded by the benefits the house provides. There was great communication throughout the process.
While the house design is a bit older (smaller rooms and gathering spaces) it has been kept updated and well appointed and makes very good use of the space. The eat-in kitchen is “tight” and the kitchen area is quite small. Just something to be aware of for those who have the culinary experience as part of their trip. We made it work but it is a bit small and challenging for our crowd of 10.
The downstairs game, TV and activity area is phenomenal for both kids and adult kids. Plenty to do for all ages. The TV room was nice for watching the college football games.
The location of the house was a definite asset. We rented a boat and the ease of getting to/from the marina as well as accessing the lake itself was incredibly easy which allowed us to maximize our time in and on the water.

We had a great trip here spending most of our time on the dock and with all the kayaks and water toys the owners provide access to. Close enough to marina and stores to pick up items you need, but enough space to feel like you have your own slice of lake.

The house is lovely, spacious, well equipped and has lots to do. My kids begged to stay longer! The hammock chairs were great for relaxing on the dock & there were a lot of things available to use in the water. Also it was an added bonus that there is an EV charging plug in the car port. The host was very responsive.

What a thrilling blessing it was to be with our three sons and their families on Lake Gaston at an ideal home. We are very thankful, and have already made our arrangements to return in 2024. The lake was lovely as were all the toys, fire pit and porches with marvelous swings.

This is a super fun place to enjoy your family and relax. This is the first place we have stayed where the host has thought of everything you need to enjoy your stay. The water area is terrific and lots of fun kayaking, paddle boarding, peddle boating and swimming. It was very clean and the beds are very comfortable. We highly recommend for everyone.

The location of this house is ideal. The spacing and beds in this house or ideal. House was well stocked with everything that you would need Kenzie children from the house swimming in the water was a bonus already rented again for next year. We will be back.

Group Therapy exceeded our expectations - beautiful, very family friendly and so clean! The owners have really thought of everything you may need and go above and beyond for you. Teresa even ordered a highchair to be delivered on the day of our arrival after I asked about one! This saltwater loving family thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our first lake trip and are already talking about returning!

We had a wonderful time enjoying this beautiful home and ideal location. We could have all laid on the "lilypad" and been rocked to sleep by the waves if we only had more time. :). The morning's on the balcony with coffee and that view were so peaceful and enjoyable. Our Ladies and even us grumpy men believe that whoever thought to add the black hammock chairs on the dock must be a genius.
It made for a great afternoon nap. The wraparound dock bumpers gives great piece of mind for tying up your boat. But all in all would highly recommend this beautiful destination home to any and all. You will leave after wishing you had more time.

Incredible lake views. Coffee at the waterfront wakeups, and sunset dock with fire pit were the perfect start and ends to each day.
The house was extremely family friendly with perfect bedroom setups and all the things needed to feel at ease with tiny tots!
Water toys and boat access was incredible and made for the perfect weekend.
Teresa was absolutely incredible and went above and beyond to ensure we were prepared and setup for a smooth arrival and departure.

My wife and daughter were in Fla. for a volleyball tournament and our other daughter and son wanted to go to LKG and we had a great stay. The weather was not the best but that did not hamper our visit at all. The house was perfect, location could not have been better. Really enjoyed the get away and Eric and Teresa were the best!! Thanks guys

Our short mini vacation was amazing. Enjoyed hanging on the pier and fishing, Had a blast in the game room. My boys enjoyed the two person kayak and swimming in the lake. Would rent this house again for sure.

We had the best time this past weekend celebrating a 40th birthday with all of our best friends at what we consider the heaven at the lake! We all agreed we'd like to make it an annual celebration at this wonderful house with maybe some shorter weekend trips in between. We really enjoyed it, thank you so much for being the best hosts!

I cannot say enough nice things about the property owners! They were responsive, and generous, and even put out birthday decorations because I merely mentioned in passing that we were celebrating my father-in-law's 80th! The attention to detail was lovely-- high end soap and cleaning supplies, brand new towels, every room smelled fresh, and the decor was to die for. Loved every bit of our stay. The only little thing I would have liked to have known ahead of time is that the stairs leading into the basement were very steep and lacked a railing. We had elderly parents and a toddler with us, so we had to keep that door closed but it was not a huge deal at all. (And to my understanding the stairs are being redone so this is really a non-issue.) Will definitely book again!

Two families of four and my mother-in-law stayed in this house over Thanksgiving week. Everyone had a great time. The owners thought of nearly every personal touch you can imagine. Luggage racks, power strips, and noisemakers in the bedrooms, all kitchen amenities you could need, and plenty of outdoor toys (we had fantastic cornhole tournaments in the backyard). Not to mention the arcade and entertainment options in the basement.
The kitchen is a little tight, so definitely only one cook in the kitchen! ;-)
But the view... :-D Nothing beats that lake view. There are eye-popping long, unobstructed lake views from everywhere in the house and backyard. We even enjoyed throwing the football around in the spacious front yard.
The owners were easily accessible and very kind and helpful.
We would definitely stay here again.
