The welcome, ambience and rural location was wonderful.

Everything was spotlessly clean. Check-in was easy and greeted by the owner. Plentiful breakfast left outside the bedroom door every morning..
There is nothing to dislike.

Would be a lucky Dairyman who lived in a room like this at Wannock Farm. The cottage is recently refurbished with all the mod cons you might expect including a shower big enough to hold a party in! The location is an ex-farm - the current owners only own a small acreage - but there are cows in the field next door and lovely looking chickens 'chattering' in the yard (so drive with care!).
Wannock Farm is about 7 miles east of Dorchester and easy to find located just opposite a watercress farm. Heading north up the road you go past the Frampton arms, over a railway track and 3 bridges before it comes up on your right. However there are numerous B roads that take you there so take your pick.
The breakfast hamper was original and I enjoyed the fruit every day (we don't get bananas like that in our supermarket!). However Martin and Tracy might like to consider offering a bit more choice e.g. bread and cheese. Just a thought and I know that I am particular with my food.

The unit we stayed in was built in 1660 and has a thatched roof. I was very interested in this and the hosts were very friendly and willing to tell me about the thatch. I learned a lot.
There is nothing I didn't like about this. I didn't miss the noise of the city as this is quiet and surrounded by farmland. They have their own cows for fresh milk.

A lovely old property in a great location.
Can’t really think of anything.

Good selection in the breakfast hamper would stay again for the location.
Would stay again for longer period so what’s not to like?

Great place to stay for a few days. Very comfortable and close to interesting locations. Loved the chickens.
We really liked everything about our stay. The lovely basket with breakfast was great. Yummy cereal yogurt and juice. I would ditch the croissants unless you can buy fresh ones. ( Sorry not being rude but it would be far superior without them...either add a third cereal maybe granola or substitute them for something else)

Lovely large rooms, comfortable bed and location excellent for a range of places to visit. Everything we needed, spotless and lots of little, well thought out extra touches
The breakfast hamper was great to wake up to. Very peaceful and friendly welcoming hosts.. We will be back.

The room was large, as was the bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Nice extra things in the room like hot water bottles (not that the room was cold) and dressing gowns. Lovely breakfast delivered to the door.
If you were staying more than one night, a sink in the main room would be useful, but I'm being picky!
4.5
The breakfast items were of excellent quality. The bed was very comfortable. The room was spacious. The shower was large and top quality. The owners are really nice and very helpful. Wifi and TV are really good. The location is peaceful.
It is an older property and the stairs are very steep. Breakfast items are mostly carb based and a little more variety would be good.

Excellent breakfast hamper, set us up well for our early start.
We have already booked to stay again.

Lovely location. Close to 'Sculpture at the Lakes', the Tank Museum, St. Nicholas Church Moreton and Clouds Hill. Good places to eat in nearby Wareham. No cooked breakfast, but excellent continental style with cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit and pastries - also proper coffee! Have already recommended to several friends. Look at their website for more info.
My phone couldn't get a signal outside, but good wifi indoors.

The breakfast was delivered each morning at 8am. It was an excellent choice including croissants, pain au chocolate, fruit, yoghurts and fruit juice
There was nothing to criticise. We absolutely loved our few days away. The owners were welcoming and friendly.

A brilliant find for a last minute New Year getaway. Spacious, clean and a lovely breakfast delivered to the door. Fresh milk, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities all provided. Excellent shower with plenty of complimentary body wash, shampoo and conditioner.

We would have preferred a cooked breakfast but the continental breakfast was good
As it was very cold it was a shame the bathroom was down the hall and therefore you had to walk through an u heated area. However the bathroom was superb.

Such a lovely accommodation! They had all the little things you wouldn’t have thought to find: hot water bottles, dressing gowns and a lovely continental breakfast hamper left just outside the door in the morning! We’ll certainly be looking up this place again next time we’re in the area.
Only a very minor detail: the radiator was rather noisy, but this is very much nitpicking. It was vastly outweighed by the gorgeous blankets and hot water bottles!
