Die Lage war super zentral und sehr ruhig, die Zimmer sind modern und ansprechend gestaltet, Check-in und Check-out haben problemlos geklappt.

Unser Zimmer war bei Ankunft leider nicht sauber (insbesondere der Boden) und wir hatten Probleme mit dem Wlan-Zugang. Fehler können immer passieren, da das LUBO jedoch ein Self-Check-In-Hotel ist (kein Personal vor Ort), konnten wir diese Probleme nur über ein Kontaktformular adressieren. Leider haben wir als Antwort nur eine Eingangsbestätigung mit dem Hinweis, dass sich jemand bei uns melden würde, erhalten. Danach hat sich trotz erneuter Nachfrage über die 6 Tage unseres Aufenthalts niemand mehr gemeldet und der Boden blieb trotz täglichen Housekeepings dreckig (dafür waren die Betten neu gemacht und das Klopapier gefaltet). Hier wurden unserer Meinung nach die falschen Prioritäten gesetzt. Die Ausstattung der Küchenzeile ist zudem sehr spärlich, sodass wir beim Kochen und Essen zwischendrin immer wieder Dinge abwaschen mussten, das nervte. Es stand außerdem kein Spülmittel zur Verfügung (das haben wir dann selber gekauft), dafür wurde vom Housekeeping täglich die Spülmaschine angemacht, auch wenn nur zwei Löffel und zwei Schüsseln drin standen. Leider nicht sehr umweltfreundlich. Wir hätten gern selbst entschieden, ob bzw. wann wir die Spülmaschine anmachen.

Great stay!

This is one of the cooler, more unique hotels I've stayed at in a long time. There is a lot of history and charm inside the rooms, and each one is a little bit different. There are a lot of nice design touches that make you want to spend as much time in the rooms as possible. It's also very central to Lucerne with a little cafe on the first floor. It's self-check and no front desk, but I did find generally speaking the team was responsive through Booking.com and the staff in the adjoining cafe are there to support you as well.

I had a few challenges with noise (I could hear the person above me walking around to about 1am in the morning), and WiFi connectivity. But the team was really supportive in assisting me throughout this and moving me to another room. So I did appreciate the customer service here.

Great location, clean abs functional room, great duvet and soap in the bathroom.

Right in the city center. Great location,

Our room was on the 1st floor right by the main entrance and that was noisy unfortunately. I think rooms on the upper floors are better.

Very good value for traveling for one or two days.

Spacious, great location, convenience, efficiency, good decoration, close to cafes. Kitchen and fridge available.

The trash bag wasn’t taken out, so I saw food left by the previous visitors. Only shampoo in the shower but nothing else.

Could not locate the fan in the bathroom.... Steamy. Lighting in the bathroom was a smidgeon dull.

I hate self check in, and I hated the fact that I was on the third floor and handicapped, and the Lady told me there was no elevator and then when she got somebody to help me with my luggage, they’re actually was an elevator

Great location, comfortable room

The room is beautifully designed, the location is fantastic, the bed is comfortable. The check-in was super easy and efficient.

Great location, well designed, would recommend

The location of The Lubo was amazing, right in the heart of everything. The room was great, not massive but an adequate size for 2 people. Good AC, had a TV, a safe etc. Bathroom was great, nice shower and spacious. Self-checkin process was smooth and easy for me, you just have to make sure to fill out the relevant forms in advance and pay otherwise it can get a little complicated. If you pay in advance, all you need to do is get your room key which was super easy to do. We arrived early and left our bags in a storage room. There is also a laundry area.

There was only one self checkin counter which is not great as queues can build up and it takes only one person to have an issue with the machine and everyone ends up waiting ages. The directions to the luggage storage room were not clear. I was told to go to the cafe where there was a storage room but this wasn’t accurate. The storage room is in the hotel itself, on the first floor (it is NOT locked so best not to leave anything valuable there). There should also be better signage for guests to know that there is an elevator which can be accessed from outside (next to the cafe). Especially useful if you have large bags. The pillows were too thin/flat for me.

great location and design, concept needs some finetuning

central location, lucern is a lovely town. modern concept, newly renovated rooms that are very well equipped with a comfy bed, a small wardrobe, bathroom and a surprisingly well designed kitchen (even dishwasher). there is a communal room as well with coffee maker and washing machines

nobody available to assist with check in (worked well for the most part, but had to ask the waitress from the Coffeeshop next door for help in the end); noisy, right above a street; AC was a good feature to have since you can’t leave windows open due to noise, but it was leaking a lot and nobody around to inform about it. coffee machine is not available in each room but only in the communal kitchen and there was no coffee pods for the entire duration of our stay.

A very nice place to stay

The location is very good, the center of Luzern. The room is very clean and has everything necessary. Easy check-in/check-out. Friendly staff at the bar/cafe downstairs.

Not soundproof. You can hear everything from the street even with the windows closed.

Good location but no personal touch

Location and room were great.

Check in system didn’t work after a long journey we had to wait until cafe staff could help us . There was a money issue where we had paid booking . Com and the hotel that was stressful waiting for the refund as there was no one to communicate with.
