The room services housekeeping makes the beds every day, refreshes new towels, empty the garbage and replenishes 2 new fresh bottled water complimentary on the house every time we came back to the hotel room after out sightseeing in Tokyo. The check-in counter representatives are very polite and very welcoming.
The concierge bowed to us all the time until the elevator door closed. What an impeccable, extraordinary hotel and outstanding service !!!!!! Very modern too. WOW !!! I rest my case. Shinjuku Prince Hotel is right next to all tourist attractions. E.I. Kabukicho, Godzilla Road, The 3D Cat Giant Screen and Yasukuni-Dori Avenue. The hotel room has a great amazing "VIEW" of SHINJUKU and the entire City of Tokyo !!!!!!

Clean and tidy room with wide beautiful view. Comfortable and convenient.

Great location. There is subway station right under the hotel. Great view it is recommended for sure.

Location of the hotel was terrific - centrally located with lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. The room was tiny, hard to fit our 2 large suitcases, but we made due. The bathroom was also small and outdated. Had to step up into the bathroom - felt like it was a cruise ship cabin and bathroom.

It should be listed as a 3 star hotel. Tiny airless rooms and weird design with elevated bathroom that was like a bathroom on a plane.

Dreadful stay. Paid an exorbitant price for a ridiculously tiny room with no cupboards. Clothes needed to be hung against the wall on a hangers. Bathroom small. Struggle for 2 people to fit on double bed and to move in such a tiny space. Will never stay here ever again.

( I didn’t use any on site facilities so can’t comment
I would very much stay again

not bad, but not great

This hotel is right off Shinjuku Station and Kabukicho, providing incredible comfort and convenience. The hotel staff is incredibly professional and very helpful, and the hotel is very nice. The hotel is a 5 min walk from Shinjuku Station (the west entrance is a little further) and hardly a minute's walk to Kabukicho. Our hotel room faced Hotel Gracery and the Godzilla head and we could see all the bustle on the street. This is an excellent hotel to stay at to be near the action without being completely trapped in the chaos. While I can't completely comment on the experiences of someone staying at Hotel Gracery, I can't help but think I would personally be overwhelmed and exhausted if everytime I had to leave or go to the hotel I would need to pass through the heart of Kabukicho. Shinjuku Prince never had this problem while being even more accessible than Hotel Gracery. Another highlight of our stay was the breakfast... wow. The breakfast here was the best we had throughout our entire trip, it's been two weeks since our trip and we still keep thinking about the bread pudding! The breakfast doesn't seem to get too busy either, but I would suggest still going early so you can experience having the entire space for yourself without too much commotion. This is an amazing hotel I would recommend to everyone and I would definitely stay here again.

Right in the thick of the Nightlife, food options and shopping galore. When you want to mix it up and head to Ginza or Shibuya, the Train Station is right below you! Would definitely recommend staying here.

I love the firmness of the bed and the wonderful pillows!! The staff has been very accommodating, and so helpful. Love that this place is in the heart of the city and close enough to the train station to get around!

Very convenient location, walking distance to Shinjuku station and countless restaurants. Staff are friendly, only thing is hotel is a little bit old, not as modern as many of the other hotels we stayed at in Japan. Overall a great experience still.

Close to subway stations, restaurants and shopping area.
Excellent Shinjuku city view.

There was some mold on some caulking on the bathroom, walls and ceiling were peeling.

Just like everything else in Japan this hotel was top notch . Great location right in the heart of Shinjuku, well appointed, clean. Did not disappoint one but!

Great room, clean, and walkable to restaurants and the train station

The room is pretty small compared to the states but it was clean and beautiful and the staff is unbelievably kind and helpful! Way friendlier and better service than the states. It’s also a great location as there is a lot of nightlife and even 24/7 food options and 711 across the street. Also super close to many different train lines. Highly recommend. We loved our stay! Can’t wait to come back!

We were charged a ¥400 Tokyo city tax upon check-in. This was a surprise. This should have been included within the cost advertised on Hotels.com, but it wasn't. They said this is at all Tokyo hotels. I've been living in the Tokyo region for almost 6 years and I've never been charged this fee in the past.
The room was "non-smoking'" but it smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. It definitely used to be a smoking room. It was gross. We have a newborn child. I was not happy.

I truly appreciate Shinjuku Prince Hotel for being so understanding. We had a reservation for 3 nights but our flight got delayed 17 hours due to Typhoon Ampil. They were so kind to waive the cancellation fee of one night and we were still able to keep the 2 nights stay. Thank you again for this!
The area is very busy but it worked very well for us because we love the shopping area and restaurants! We really had a pleasant time at Shinjuku Prince Hotel.

Its very modern, and the location its pretty convenient.

It’s a nice hotel but they need to do something about the bathroom/showers. All the water comes out of the shower/tub when you’re showering. Also the bathroom (toilet) needs to be cleaned better especially the back of it.

Suppressingly, staff of check-in counter is not familiar with nearby environment, e.g. closest supermarket. Room size (30m2) is good. Location is super convenient for people like to shopping.
