A lovely comfortable hotel, friendly staff and great breakfast . Beautiful setting.

Perfectly ok only sorry that it was one night.

Fantastic staff member met me on my arrival at 11 pm and was super-helpful. He was fantastic.

Lovely character hotel in very attractive picturesque grounds and the very old stone bridge which gives it its name. Well located for getting around the moors of Dartmoor. Nicely appointed with well furnished bedrooms and character bar.

Dirty room. Food average at best. Food menu extremely limited. 8-10 minute wait for hot water in shower. Mattress literally collapsed when you later on it (and no, I’m not a fat, greedy person)! I have nothing positive to say about it other than to say the surrounding area is beautiful.

Absolutely loved our stay here. From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome and could immediately relax. Our room was stunning (Vivienne Leigh). The service was faultless and the food delicious. We will definitely return.

This hotel is a delightful old property in the heart of Dartmoor. The staff are friendly, rooms are comfortable and the service is excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel especially if you like hiking on the moors.

Stunning hotel where you can dive into history in every corner…surrounded by most beautiful countyside

There were several highpoints: the lounge areas are very extensive and very nice (I can imagine they how they would be when the fireplaces have fires), the room (very spacious and filled with antiques), and the breakfast (the best of the trip, and in memory of several trips). The supper menu has only four items to choose from, so very limited. The breakfast was vastly better than the supper. The innkeeper was very pleasant, told us Prince William has been there the day before for some event.

Satnav failed to find hotel; telephone assistance not very good. Allocated room not made up.

Love this hotel, clean and tidy.
We took our dog with us, they left a bowl, treats, dog bags and a squeaky bowl.
The room was clean and tidy and had great views.
All the staff were very professional and friendly from check in, bar staff, restaurant staff both dinner and breakfast, cleaning staff and check out.
Food was amazing, so tasty and filling.

Like going back in time but in a good way,
Hotel has bags of character and in an amazing position,
All the staff are polite, friendly and helpful with Natalie on reception being over and above what you may expect. Her friendly and sunny nature provides a warm welcome and the hotel should be proud to have her,
Only one small thing, the Dartmoor breakfast was a little lacking and appears somewhat mean given the half a tomato, half a black pudding, a tiny piece of bacon. Please ‘don’t spoil the ship for a hapath of tar’ as the saying goes.

A beautiful setting with comfortable rooms and very clean. The food was delicious and the staff were wonderful ! Always smiling and helpful ! It was an absolute pleasure to stay here ! Plenty of parking spaces. If you're looking for a break I highly recommend Two Bridges !

The Two Bridges Hotel had that old world charm that took you back in time set in peaceful surroundings.

Very welcoming and dog friendly.
The weather for the day was terrible but the hotel made up for that as an excellent break.

This is a lovely hotel with wonderful staff who obviously enjoy working there

Disappointed to find on check-in that the only food offer available was soup and sandwiches. I didn't expect such a poor offer from a Hotel. Had to drive 18 mile round trip to Tavistock to eat.
Have stayed at this hotel on many occasions. This trip it is apparent that they are actively cost cutting in all areas. Breakfast offer poor. No personal saving. When you've only got around 8 rooms in house you shouldn't be referred to by a room number!!

Perfectly satisfactory stay. Helpful Front of desk staff. Very pet friendly. Limited evening menu to soup or sandwiches when I stayed

On our way into Cornwall we had spotted the 2 bridges hotel. Our hotel in Cornwall was desastrous, so we decided to do better on our way back. We were not disappointed!

The staff were lovely, the room was amazing, the location is stunning!

A wonderful stay in a friendly hotel in a beautiful setting

Two night break. Bed and breakfast. In hind site we would DEFINITELY go b,b & evening meal. We managed to get our second night with the dining experience which was exceptional - and I am a foodie. We did change our room on the first night but this was done easily. Have to say ALL the staff were extremely cheerful and helpful. An experience to be repeated.

This property is in an idyllic location and you can walk on Dartmoor straight from the garden. The staff were the best bit, all really friendly and efficient. Extra Dog treats, bowl and ball were added extra touches that made the stay even more special.

Two Bridges Hotel is a real jewel. Located on Dartmoor, it is surrounded by openness with endless skies and clouds. You can hike or simply enjoy the peacefulness. Sheep, ponies and cows wander freely, so when you’re driving you need to be aware.
The hotel itself is like stepping back in time without sacrificing creature comforts. Excellent food, much locally sourced, and the staff couldn’t be nicer.
There are a couple of parlors with cheery fireplaces and a lovely bar. Even a put and take bookshelf.
The grounds include a flock of geese that pretty much ignore you.
Honestly, it was just wonderful. I would have been content to just stay there all day, but we drove into St. Austel.

This was the most amazing stay, in, out if the cold, warm welcome, warm open fire, friendly, eager to please staff and lovely hotel. The staff worked exceptionally long hours and the next morning, the same staff were there to greet us for breakfast, with a big smile and excellent service. Couldn't fault it.

Food was great. Room was lovely. The staff were outstanding. We will be back for sure.

Our stay was for our wedding anniversary. It was magical as is every time we have visited or stayed at this special place on Dartmoor. The staff are really professional, friendly and always happy to help with any queries or needs. Thank you for making memories that will last for a lifetime for my husband and myself, we where lucky enough to have married at this unique place.

The location in the heart of Dartmoor is special and the history associated with the hotel is evocative. In November the log fires in the comfortable lounge makes for a relaxing stay.
