very nice hotel.
Now over 20 years but still in good shape.
Staff outside reception are very bad in English.
problem to pay with Western card. /mastercard, in Japanese restaurant. Luckily I had cash. Be aware.
Bar staff have no Idea about drinks, just pint and hope for the best.

Given room at Level 70, view was fantastic. Within walking distance to IFC & 正大。 Breakfast buffet Average.

I like the area of hotel and the staffs

The location offers very scenic views of the Bund, especially revered at nighttime. The connivence of close proximity to Shanghai Metro Lines 2 & 14 allows for effortless transport across the Huangpu River to many different scenic locations, like the Bund, Yuyuan Old Street and Shanghai Disneyland within minutes. Additionally, Line 2 transports directly to the airport with availability to shorten transit time by taking the Maglev as an alternative.

Really old property. Great location. Under trained staff.

Room is large enough for a comfortable stay. Metro station is near the hotel, around a 5 minutes walk. However, the street nearby is a popular photo taking spot, which is very crowded at all time.

Overall fine, its an older hotel so I did not expect too much. However it was very surprising that a 5 star hotel provides Nescafr instant coffee and not a proper coffee machine.

A good Hotel to stay in Shanghai. The Subway is nearby and you can reach all important destinations quickly. The furniture of the hotel is a little bit old, the service was okay. Not every person speaks english, but all of them were very friendly.

Great hotel by itself. Best location, beautiful view from the sky high windows. However, very disappointed with the front desk service at check in. We got the hotel at 3pm, and looked forward to fresh up in the room and getting ready for the night. By it says, we can check in after 2pm. However, after a long wait for only a few people in the line, I’ve been told that the room would not be ready for another hour. The front desk could not do anything to compensate but they would call me once the room was ready. No one called at the end. After dinner, the room was finally ready, but I had to wait for the front desk to check in again, as the system issue.

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in China. The room is spacious and immaculate! Plus a great view on Huangpu river. Breakfast has abundant options and all delicious. Atrium in the hotel is so impressive that I would stare and lost in space for hours. I will definitely come back to Shanghai because of Grand Hyatt!

The room was modern and very pretty. Location was great, it’s right next to the tallest building in Shanghai and very close to the metro stop. Yet, the walls were too thin so we can hear other people talking. Their checkin process was disorganized, we literally have to check with the front desk each time, and they did not text/call us.

The hotel is located in Shanghai's landmark building Jin Mao Tower. Located in Lujiazui business center. Overlooking the most prosperous city center of Shanghai. The hotel is decorated with Chinese characteristics and displays many Chinese paintings, calligraphy, and ceramic artworks. The restaurant offers Cantonese food, Japanese food, and buffet. First-class sightseeing environment. A very unforgettable stay. Living in Suite 8305, it has a living room, kitchen, dining room, and two Kingsize beds in the bedroom. It has a 180-degree floor-to-ceiling viewing window, facing the Lujiazui Huangpu River city skyline. It is a very shocking living experience.

everything is pleasant, except the breakfast not good for the money paid.

In the heart of Shanghai's CBD area, it's conveniently located in of the most popular landmarks in town.
Being built 20 years ago, it's a little dated. That's probably why it's considerably cheaper than those new hotels nearby.

Telephone signal was too weak.

Extremely nice view of teh whole PuXi Area from hotel room and restaurants. A must go place is the 87th Floor Bar that basically could be one of the best view Skybar in Shanghai and probably in Asia.
