nice hotel with free coffee and pastries for breakfast - clean room - no parking for van due to height restriction

Nice clean room, facilities ok.staff friendly. Bit noisy outside. Parking limited.

Excellent service from the staff.
Very nice entry system through the phone.
Unfortunately the pillows were square and not comfortable. The mattress has no springs was just one big marshmallow. Once you sink in there's no escape.

Great location, very quiet room. Breakfast and service both excellent… This hotel was cleaner and more friendly than some better ‘star’ hotels that I’ve stayed in - a really great option for a weekend in Antwerp!

Great check in and comfortable weekend trip to Antwerp.

My stay was good, I would have preferred to have a double bed like I asked for but I was told that there was none available even though there only seemed to be 5 people in the hotel. Also improve the breakfast as it is rather expensive for what you get.

We spent the night in this up & coming neighborhood that has seen a complete overhaul in recent years. Still quite some construction areas left but it didn’t bother us at all. We got the queen double at the end of the hall which I think is a bit larger with additional seating area, very spacious. The room was clean and holds most amenities but (I think) lacks air conditioning because they provided a ventilator in the closet. We didn’t try breakfast so no idea what that was like. The check in was a breeze and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. If you arrive by car, remember that they don’t offer parking space of their own but you park (partially paid) in the surrounding area. All in all a good stay, slept well, 3 star hotel rating is accurate as (bath)rooms feel a bit dated, but clean and complete.

OK the staff are nice, very nice, I cant fault them. Very friendly and helpful...however... The pillows have to be the worst I have slept on in a long while at a hotel.. No choice of soft or hard here.. Just lumpy. The wallpaper was coming off the wall above the bed. And the tray for the kettle, which actually is the kettle base, didnt have a cable long enough to reach the plug socket on the side of the room where it was placed.. So why bother putting it there? I had to relocate it to the desk on the other side. Some of the curtain rings were off the curtain rail, as a result the room wasnt as dark as it might have been, and I do like a dark room..Other than that it was fine... None of these things are big enough to put me off staying again. The breakfast is better than the local competition, nicer surroundings and served until a more civilised time at the weekend. And the staff were nice .. Did I mention that? Which I guess means that most of my criticism must land with the hotel company and not with the staff who are great. So Id stay there again. Be aware that the whole area is undergoing major major infrastructure and building works at the moment, probably for another year. Getting around can be a bit long winded.. And they even give you ear plugs in the rooms in case it gets noisy.. See I told you.. Nice staff.

Unfortunately it's mosquito season - who would have expected it in Antwerp in September! Rooms have no air conditioning so balcony door left open and I suffered from mosquito bites (as did other guests, even on the 5th floor).
It's also noisy due to traffic but also major building site in the road opposite. (The hotel does provide ear plugs as a matter of routine.)
There is no computer in the lobby for guest use (contrary to information in the visitor information book)

Always a good stopping point, however alt of building works in the area at the moment.

Very disappointing. The Hotels.com site mentioned air conditioning in the hotel as well as specifically in the room. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT THE CASE. Also very noisy, as there are no employees left in the hotel and nobody at the reception officially after 22:30. Actually, the reception closed even earlier. The location of the hotel is in a "dying" part of the city. On the positive side I do have to admit that the room was generally nice, practical and clean. However, this nowhere nearly compensated the total disappointment and a bad nights sleep.

This is a good hotel with a nice relaxed style and excellent staff. Unfortunately currently its in the middle of a building site as the area around the hotel is being resurfaced; the taxi driver couldn't get to the hotel as the roads are closed off so I was dropped a block away, however the big issue is the noise in the early morning so if you are hoping for a lay in forget it! Of course this is a temporary situation and once finished the improvements will be a great feature of the nice waterside area of the city.

It was a good location slightly outside of the centre. Free parking outside the hotel. Breakfast was better than expected.

We stayed here as we were going to a concert located nearby. This hotel is not in the centre of Antwerpe and is around 30-40 minutes walk from the centre (a nice walk). However the Docklands area is close by with nice resturants to sit out and a museum is also close.

We was given keys to a room that was already occupied. To my disbelief, a woman was sleeping in the bed. As was arriving late we had to call night porter. Took a while for them to make arrangements. We was downscaled to a twin room. They did offer us little discount but nevertheless not a nice experience.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Really well designed room (with enough storage space in the bathroom!) Go for the fifth floor balcony rooms - the only ones with a really good view over the marina and the docklands area, Very quiet, excellent breakfast, all for £45ish all in. Amazing

Unfortunately received a parking fine, despite asking at reception if parking was allowed. There are no clear indications where one can park or not. Friendly lady at the reception and comfortable room with (free) coffee machine in the corridor.

Hotel sorted out booking problems caused by EXPEDIA , they said it always happens , our booking documents were for a comfort room with balcony , hotel version was standard room , had to be moved to apartment (no extra charge) as no balcony room available . Thank you to the manager for sorting problem out .

Needed a room to stay travelling back to England from Holland. Stayed one night, free on-street parking a bonus. Very convenient for a stop-over and quick look around Antwerp which was nice place. Will definitely use again.

The hotel overall was great for what I needed. The bar is enough to be able to have a beer and watch the football. The breakfast was continental and the fresh squeezed orange juice machine was a bonus. I enjoyed the view and the location is not too bad.

Little bit of a struggle to find way in due to SatNav not knowing about all of the highway changes. Area in which it is located is a mixture of older run down properties and new rennovation an area on the up
